  If you had installed the sata driver provided, model you will need an additional step to work around the error ACPI by pressing F7 seeing (press F6 if you need to install a third-party RAID or SCSI driver displayed).

  Before that we'll start with her, I have something to tell you. Decommissioning of this model is not always easy, and your model is designed to work well with Vista.   Now you need to integrate your drivers Sata (only x 86 drivers) win nLite.

  Here is the guide how to do it and here are AMD SATA AHCI Controller for you. Just unRAR it drivers with winrar.

  Remember, also, that you use the Windows XP SP2 version. If you have not got the version SP2 here you can download this service pack

  and here you guide how to integrate this file with your new system of nLite.

  In this program, you can even burn your new XP cd with this driver.

  The only method I can think of requires imaging tools such as Acronis True Image (costs money). It allows to copy the recovery on the new disk partition. Maybe you can then use the appropriate keyboard key (such as published on the HP site) to start a process of restoration of the factory.

  Just update you 13 windows 7 items... I sat until midnight and found the program data and ended up finding the catalog. I deleted the catalog now. and uninstalled items 13. I hope that when I reinstall it will be like new, and I can go back again. I had messed up I saw when viewing the photos in the media, it was media files and thought they shouldn't be there so I deleted them. Maybe thinking about now I get an error. Before, I made a slideshow with the media from the drive. I just started using elements 13 I used windows live previously for videos. Can you let me know also what photoshop elements or first, you use the most.  Also if I import video files in why do I see them I think of thumbnails. That's where I went wrong and thinking, they shouldn't be here. I brought a few books and trying to go through the learning process. What camera do you use?  Many questions sorry.   Yes, the HARD drive become more fat and more (capacity), becomes also more small - actually thinner - (dimension) AND cheaper too. You can use more (once again - ability) HDD from reliable suppliers/manufacturers. 750 GB or 1 TB of a WD HARD drive would be a good start - please stay with the one who has more cache and fast (7200 rpm or more).

  My suggestion: replace it with a SSD and put a larger HARD drive on the second span.

• HP Pavilion 15 laptop: Need help, PC laptop HP Pavilion 15 could not boot from USB external hard drive.

  My desktop HP Pavilion P7-1074 4.5 years computer dropped last week. Planed to get a replacement on Black Friday or the day after Christmas. But I have to run some programs inside hard drve to the desktop computer. So I have attatched hard disk dive from my desktop to my laptop HP Pavilion 15 USB port with an enclosure.

  The laptop would recognize the external hard drive as a SYSTEM (F 62.2 MB of free space of 97.9 MB, OS (GTB-free 1.11 of 1.35 TB and HP_RECOVERY (H 1.33 GB free of 11.0 GB.))) But I couldn't find the program I want to run.

  I went into the BIOS to set the boot order to boot from USB first, but I could not get the result I expected. The laptop still start on its own hard drive. I tried all three USB ports, no one works.

  First of all, programs of a different version or windows session will not work on another computer as it was installed on the computer of origin at this time. It is an installation and application software, to the difference of the data or information that is accessible by any computer when the hard drive is connected.   Take your PC to a competent local PC repair shop and maybe they will allow your son to learn the process.
