  My computer is the "HP Pavilion 500-319na".

  It contains the graphics card "NVIDIA GeForce 705" (I think it's a 1 GB model)

  There's a game coming out next year called Overwatch, this graphics card is unable to play the game, so I decided that I want to upgrade this Christmas.

  You'll be glad you asked, you need to clarify some issues.

  This is your computer.  There really a 180W external PSU?  Or is the power supply inside the box?  There were some variations in generation of HP model #.   If internal, envy is the coast?

  Your computer has a 2.9 Ghz CPU... but Overwatch requires a 3.3 - 3, 46 Ghz CPU. That will slow down the game.

  GTX660 (140W) is far superior to the GTX750Ti (60W), but power is a problem. AQgain, need you a new power supply, but it's an internal model.  See above question. !!!

  You also have a problem of compatibility of the UEFI BIOS.  The GTX750Ti is OK, but the GTX 660 requires BIOS settings inherited.

  thought I'd post here to try to fix a problem with my laptop. Im not computer warned, not so no idea where to start.

  So when I go into my pictures, is not serious if I'm a view of a key USB, SD card or simply in a folder on my laptop at the moment I saw the third picture, is no longer a photo, it is only black where the picture is supposed to be.

  I always do the updates of the day they come out, so Im assuming that is not not to do an update. I have no idea on the orders of the computer so hoping that someone is able to help me and explain a solution in laymans terms please. I have attached a photo that is supposed to be my dog, but is just a black screen.  Thanks for reading!

  There is a problem that seems to affect a small number of machines where the jpeg decoding dll ATI is at fault - you could try the following to see if this is the cause in your case.

  Close all windows in Windows Photo Viewer.

  Open Windows File Explorer, click this computer in the left pane and then double-click the Windows C partition that is shown in the main window.

  Now open Program Files, open the common files, open ATI Technologies , and open media.

  Locate the two files for each one in turn and following, right click and select Rename ( Note: what you change the name is actually unimportant, but it may make sense to use the suggestions I made below inorder to reverse this change easily if it is not correct the problem - also, in both cases, when you click on enter) (, you also need to click continue at the command prompt Admin before the name change is applied)

  AMF-wic-jpeg - decoder32.dll change to jp32.dll then you can tap on enter

  AMF-wic-jpeg - decoder64.dll change to jp64.dll then you can tap on enter

  Reboot the laptop and let Windows load completely for a few minutes before you check if you can now view your photos.

  I downloaded the latest version of HP Support Assistant 7.7.34.34 - the download file is sp68201. The current when configuration ok without error messages, but I do not understand a HP Support Assistant shortcut on my desktop. I navigated to the HP folder on pc and found the app, but the Support loaded up, but a message pops up saying "Support Assistant has detected the error and closes.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled but still get nowhere.

  How can I make it work?

  Check the following if you use IE9.

  Open windows control panel, open Internet Options and click the Advanced tab.  Under the graphic acceleration, make sure you there is not a tick against 'use made instead of GPU Rendering software.  If it is, uncheck the box and click on apply to save the change.  Restart IE.

  If the above doesn't help (or does not), download the latest installer of Flash Player and save it to your desktop (I realize that you already have the latest version, but it may be best to completely uninstall before reinstalling the latest version).  Then, close all browsers, open windows control panel, open programs and features and uninstall Flash Player.  Once completed, restart the laptop.  Now, double-click on the Setup program on your desktop to reinstall Flash Player.

  Another option is to download and install Firefox as a temporary measure, as the latest version of Adobe Flash seems to work OK with that - you may need to run the installer of Flash again after installing Firefox.

  Hi all, I have a problem with my 22-H010EL AIO HP Pavilion TouchSmart.

  The hard drive broke twice while PC was covered by the warranty; now the warranty period is over, and the hard drive broke again. I guess that there is a power supply problem, in fact I see the hard drive has boots more than I actually received; Sometimes I hear a sound of boot clearly while the PC is on (and I'm sure that's not because of the stand by, because it happens while I use it). Also, just after the first replacement of hard disk, it showed 7 boots upward in an hour; I guess the power/SATA cable is damaged, the origin of the problem described, but it could be the motherboard, too.

  See the excerpts 1-5 to remove the side panel and the front panel. Clean the cover (front and back) and the low forehead, area F on pg7. The front panel has usually a grid or slots at the bottom. It's the front air intake. Imagine all the unwanted blocked upward, you will find.

  A second option is to try the following steps:
  Network power cycle:
  1. turn off your laptop.
  2. unplug the power to your router.
  3. disconnect the power to your modem.
  4. wait at least 45 seconds.
  5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
  6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
  7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.
  
  Turn off the power to the adapter:
  1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)

I tried Windows Photo Gallery (no file or video) and others. I know that the photos are here because others have seen them. What should I do to see the pictures?

  Are you able to copy the contents of the disc in your computer and then look at the pictures? With the inserted disc, click Start > computer > double click on the CD/DVD drive. You should see (hopefully) a list of the files on the disk. Select all of them, right click and select 'copy '. Then create a new folder on the desktop, open it, right click in the folder and select "Paste". If the files copy successfully then you should be able to view them on your computer.

  If this does not work for you, maybe you could have someone make a new record for you. Using a computer which is able to view the pictures (but not the computer that made the record initially), copy the files using the method described above, and then burn a new disc picture using a different file system.

  Unfortunately you are not alone. HP has sold a lot of different models with the M2N78 - motherboard. The problem is that the manufacturer of the Board of Directors (not HP) set up a controller chip NVidia which tended to overheat. Once this chip goes, ur stuck. The SATA ports are controlled by this chip.

  To make a long story short, with assistance from HP Support Forum's, I've recently restored to my Pavilion P6520F leave an 'upgrade' forced Windows 10, back to Windows 7.  Unfortunately, when I accidentally upgraded to Win 10, my card usb 3.0 pci card decided to die in the transition (not compatible with Win 10).  I replaced the card with a PCI-E DEGOL Express USB 3.0 Card 4 Ports and power connector 4-pin 5V for desktop computers [ASIN: B01FUE7IS2].  The map loaded and worked like a champ... Until I started Windows 7.  Now Windows 7 can not find a driver for it, and provided driver disk will not load a driver for Windows 7.  I contacted the seller, and they assured me that the card must be compatible Windows 7.  Is there a generic driver online of these cards USB 3.0 can I load to bring back my new card?  Unfortunately, I threw the old card, if I can't relive the Degol map, I'll have to buy a new card.

  USB for Windows 7 drivers are the supplies made by the manufacturer of the card.

  You must debug the problem if the DEGOL W7 driver does not load. Generally, you will see an error code in Device Manager for your USB card. This could give you some advice.

Then, when I open the information system, its says that I have still 4 GB of ram (3.90 usable). I was very confused, so I went to come and download CPU - Z to see if the RAM stick works. And it is! it is my 8 GB key! And the tab says memory I have total of 12 GB of RAM but why Windows says only 4 GB (3.90 usable)? Is there something wrong? Help, please! You guys can see photos of preferences.

  Windows sees only 4 GB because you have mixed densities (4GB + 8 GB) module and the modules of memory other manufacturer.

  If you want to use more than 4 GB successfully, then buy a memory compatible pair of bars secured and install them.

  Make sure that you remove the other two modules before the upgrade.
