HP Pavilion 500-321: graphics driver constantly crashing and recovery
I've been instances make more frequent accidents of graphics driver. The message I get is:
"Display driver stopped responding and recovered."
Display driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows 8 (R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered. »
When this happens, the screen goes black for a split second and then everything goes back to normal.
It happens every time I play games, demanding or not (could be just Agari.io, for example), or simply to Watch youtube videos. When you play a little demanding games, even with low settings I know my chipset is capable of processing, it happens rather frequently.
I have a HP Pavilion 500-321 with an i5 CPU 4750 and 4600 Graphics Intel Intel chipset on Windows (64-bit) 10. The driver installed is Windows and the site of software & drivers of HP, the last (10.18.15.4271).
Any ideas on the way that it can be and how to solve?
PS: I've done several resets factory and same charges 10 Windows installs, so is not a solution for me.
Thanks in advance.
I think that I managed to solve the problem by forcing the installation of the original drivers for my Intel graphics chip. I downloaded from the Intel Web site. HP would not let me do this through the Windows Wizard or through installation of Intel software, so I did it manually after some research.
I have not seen the error message in more than a week now, not even when playing a bit demanding games, so I think it's safe to say that the problem has disappeared and that the problem is HP drivers in Windows 10.
I hope that you are able to pass it along so that HP can work towards a solution, if they are not already on this subject.
Thanks for your help and attention, Sunshyn.

Hi all, if this question is asked before, please accept my apologies and me directly to the answer.
I have a Toshiba Equium running Windows XP (sp 2) but there seems to be some kind of conflict with the graphics driver (ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP) which forces the system to crash several times a day - sometimes at startup, sometimes it crashes just during the operation. The error message says that ATI Graphics driver got into an infinite loop.
I have the latest version of windows and the ATI updates but it seems to make no difference.
A trawl of the internet forums suggest that many people have had this problem, but nobody seems to have a good solution.
The BSOD appears and it is said that the ati32dvag.dll of the driver is stuck in an infinite loop. Am I wrong?
I found also several threads on the infinite loop problem ATI graphics driver.
Especially, he arrived at the course to play games or run solid 3d applications
Lucky is right. You must install the graphics drivers from the Toshiba page.
If this does not help, you can try to use the drivers from the site omegadrivers.net
I decided to re open my OLD laptop that I bought in the United Kingdom in 2007, it is a HP Pavilion dv6, and I noticed that my HARD drive crashed and I don't have the slightest idea what to do, it is said he used to bot upwards, and my friend told me it's toast...
SO I bougt garage a new HARD drive an SSD and I installed windows 7 on it and everything works very well, EXCEPT my drivers do not work, IT can't find any 'graphics card' installed audio or any other thing, I tried to use your Web site to get the latest drivers but when I do he collapsed instaltion because of the wrong configuration or something I can't quite is Remember, but I have NVIDIA and when I used the PC until it had great graphics, as is a multimedia PC...
I have a label UNDER the PC windows key, but it's very fainted and I don't know what he said, so I could have used the wrong windows as it says it's not good.
I really need some help with what I need to use this laptop for my better realationship operate as I sat at a large part of the office and with a laptop, I can be around my family many more.
Yes, it seems that the support page does not work.
They had a major problem with the support pages earlier this week, and it looks that it arose again.
The only BONE that appears is W10, and of course, there are no drivers listed.
Well... I can probably help you with some of them the hardware manufacturer's Web sites.
See if the graphic driver directly from AMD works for graphics.
Ethernet would be the third driver on the list.
Card reader: first driver on the list...
I own this desktop PC - 500-002ec Pavilion and there is the integrated graphics card - AMD Radeon HD 8570. First of all, it was OK, but after some time, I can see gal on the games and I want to play good games, but my graphics card is unable to perform, according to some new games system requirements...
I know that the changes integrated graphic card to any dedicted can be very complicated... But I wanted to ask, if there is any way, how? To change or put an extra or something else... I would be very happy if it will be possible.
Thanks for any answers
Hi there @Rexo75
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you are interested in the installation of a discrete graphics adapter. I'm happy to help you with this.
Looking at the specs of your system and motherboard, link below for convenience:
Internal PSU 300W* Built-in video is not available if a graphics card is installed.
I have problems with the graphics driver on my hp pavilion dv6-3299. I installed windows 8, and it seems that windows will not recognize correctly. Graphics card is Ati mobility radeon 6650M. Sorry for the bad English.
If the driver is not supported by HP, then you can not go to it. The only thing I can think of for you to do is push your graphics chip. Windows 8 is quite recent and the upgrade of the operating system can affect material and it is very glitchy. The alternative, I can arrive at this moment is to do a refresh for your computer. I had to refresh my computer when I upgraded to Windows 8, but I didn't know that it would remove all my drivers for my hardware. If you want to update your computer, make sure you know where to find all the drivers for your hardware on your computer. Your sound card driver can be removed, your graphics driver disappears too and that fixed my problem with my card when I upgraded to Windows 8.
NIVIDIA graphics card drivers are required for computer laptop hp pavilion ab555tx for window 10 (64-bit).
The supplied drivers on hp website is not able to install to from the product.
Please suggest a solution.
Your machine came with FreeDOS and you upgraded to Windows 10. You must go to this site to download and install the Intel graphics driver from following link first
then install NVIDIA GeForce 940 M (4 GB dedicated DDR3L) pilot later (after a reboot).
Hi, I lowered my pavilion 500-090 of Windows 8 for Windows 7 and impossible to find a suitable driver for the USB controller. Does anyone know which driver will work?
Here is the link for the usb driver you need and you can use all other drivers of the model above for your motherboard as well.
DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK
I bought a new HP Pavilion 500-210qe that came with Windows 8 is installed. I did not like the new OS so I refomated the hard drive and installed Windows 7 Ultimate. Now, Miss me the drivers for the following items:
-PCI Simple Communications Controller
-SM Bus controller
I searched on the site of HP but very confusing. Can someone guide me to the right direction where I can download the drivers for the controllers above?
There is no computer HP desktop with W7 drivers for the hardware on your PC.
This means that you are going to the Web site of the manufacturer of each component for pilots shopping and I hope that get you lucky.
Driver chipset. First, install and restart. Must install the smbus controller.
Ethernet controller: download and install the driver 4th on the list. I hope this works.
Use this driver for the Probook s 4540. They put the cards wireless laptop to desktop

Last year, I bought a HP Pavilion 500-326na, and recently, I decided that I would update the graphics card. The card that I'm looking is the nVidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti. This would be consistent with (and in the form of) my computer? In addition, I'm not sure exactly how I had to upgrade my power supply, if necessary, and if you can direct me to a decent choice.
Thank you very much.
SJ642, welcome to the forum.
According to the Specifications of the product , the computer has an external power supply 180W (PSU). If this is the case, you won't be able to level the video card. The 750ti requires a power supply of at least 300 w; Some reported that 400W is needed to make it work properly.

I am an avid player of PC, when I try to play the new games IE cod blackopps 3 sound telling me that I have little memory, I think about buying additional ram, do I have to update my graphics card?

This is your computer . Power supply is 300W. PROCESSOR AMD A8-5500. D 7560 AMD graphics card.
The graphics are a serious difference... the comparison here is. 560ti vs the 760 and both are 170W.
You will need at least a 500W PSU, but again, I would see that a 600W Corsair associated with a card EVGA.
Finally, you need 8 GB of memory of motherboard. Just 6 GB. Not sure about your Setup, because there are 4 locations, and you have 6 GB installed... Run the CPUID CPU-Z to analyze the 4 locations.
Bought a desktop Pavilion 500 computer last week. Kind of disappointed with the documentation that comes with it, also disappointed with the documentaion on this site, just seems to have two manuals supplied with the computer, PDF files (but, maybe I'm not looking in the right place). Nothing in the documentation provided with your computer that shows what the computer looks like inside, no info at all on the update of the computer (adding another hard drive - what memory?). I open the computer and take a look to see what is inside, but the manual says that if I open the computer and break the security seal I certify that the computer was working properly until I tried to upgrade the computer, and if the security seal is broken it could screw up my warranty. I think there must be space for another hard drive, but who knows. I would like to install the IDE of my old computer hard disk, do not know if this is possible. I know I can get a disk enclosure and connect it to a USB port, but prefer to install the drive in the computer (may be screwing up the warranty...). If an IDE drive may not be installed on the computer, as it is, maybe some sort of a SATA to IDE adapter or card would work. Anyone have any ideas?
According to respondents, this adapter converts IDE drives to Sata port.
The 500-112 OA have an AMD Radeon HD 8570 + 8670 D Dual Graphics. I have not found it slow until my wife bought a fancy office with Geforce GTX 770.
I didn't know until reading the plug of envy and 770 GTX how much power needs a modern graphics card.
And I immediately saw that it was not an option for the 300w PSU in the Pavilion.
After a little research I found the ti Geforce 750 to have low power consumption if it works with a power supply 300 w?
I will notice no change in speed graphic?
What would you say of the ti 660?
If anyone has recommendations to improve the graphics please share.
The NVIDIA 770 is a huge map that requires a lot of power to run it. I was recently helping another Member with a 770 problem using a custom motherboard high-performance with a 750 Watt power supply. This arrangement could be over kill for your PC.
MSI GTX NVIDIA graphics below 750 cards should work in your PC using a 300 Watt power supply.
You will still need to do some research on your own. You can contact HP Partsufer or HP support and see if HP offers upgrade kits.
I bought this new laptop, HP Pavilion 14-v052tx, recently. I am running Windows 8.1 64 bit on this device. I want to downgrade to Windows 7 64-bit. It comes with 2 GB Nvidia GeForce 830 M dedicated GPU and Alps Touchpad. When I go to the device driver download page I don't see any driver listed for the two components to Windows 7 64 bit. For the touchpad, there only Synaptics Touchpad driver that does not work during installation. How can I get Alps will show Device driver and graphics driver Nvidia for Windows 7 64 bit?
So I should get the graphics drivers from Nvidia instead. Alright. But on the driver for the Synaptics touchpad touchpad driver does not install even. I mean the Setup program runs and finishesh very quickly. No option is added to the properties of mouse, nothing is added to add/remove program list, no icon in the taskbar - apparently no signs of the installed driver. Not to mention that I have Windows 8.1 for the touchpad Alps pointing device (ACPI\AUI1714\4 device instance path & 39CCCB47 & 0). Why would it have Alps driver for Windows 8.1 and Synaptics for Windows 7?
Edit: I just went in the file Release.txt shipped with Windows 8.1 Alps touchpad driver and discovered that it supports Windows 7 64-bit too. I guess I'll just install this driver.

It's because I'm trying to connect to my new monitor that requires a Display Port.
I would appreciate any advice.
