HP Pavilion 500 PC: Sound goes out after a few minutes. Reboot back sound, but only for a short period

The problem started yesterday, all of a sudden there was no noise. I checked with the web, the hp support assistant and downloaded the new drivers.  I don't see anything else to do. I even downloaded programs to check my system in case something has exceeded my malicious or norton.  Still no luck, so, before I give the floor Sam's club on my guarantee I thought I would check here an answer.

I bought the new machine a year ago in May of this year (2014), never had any problems with it so far.  I don't not even sound on the pc speakers.  All the power and connects to my speakers work fine.

I hope somone can help out me.

Thank you

Hi, my problem is that my audio goes off after a few minutes, then if I want it back I have to restart the PC and it seems in good condition, but imagine having to restart your computer after you have initially fed up whenever you want to use the PC. The Support assistant says that my drivers are up to date, that the problem may be due to the fact that I didn't have this problem until recently who told me that one of the automatic updates at the origin of this problem.

In addition, a problem that has never set was my internet inexplicably drops for no apparent reason. Sporadic problem and has nothing to do with my connection as it has occurred in several physical locations. Open Internet explorer by clicking on 'fix the fitting' works after a few minutes, but it is only a band-aid solution.

Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Toshiba Canvio Stor.E 1 TB 2.5 "great copy hangin out after a few minutes

    Hello

I just bought the Toshiba 2.5 "Stor.E Canvio 1 TB on a Windows 7 Thoshiba laptop.
Whenever I do a great copy, after a few minutes, the copy blocks.

The process explore hangs, it cannot be killed and the only solution is to disconnect the usb port and plug it back.

    How would I fix this?

    Thank you
    Alex

    Hello

Theoretically, it could be a HARD drive problem.
Would be interesting to know if the other HARD drive does the same thing

However Stor.E Canvio is a HARD USB 3.0 drive and it takes min 900mA to operate correctly.
It might be possible that not enough power provided by the USB port.
You can try to plug an external USB hub between the laptop and the HARD drive to verify functionality.

  • Hi, Acer Aspire E15 E51-511-C7PH worked fine for a year, now goes off after a few minutes or seconds

Hi, Acer Aspire E15 E51-511-C7PH turns off, I restart and it turns off again.

I did a reset to the factory settings, restarted in recovery of the system, not good.

Charges of battery, power supply works fine, what is the problem?

    Thank you

As you mentioned that there is no problem with your diet and your battery is also supported, it is likely that your backup battery is down. To check if this is the case, you are advised to build a State of the battery by following the guidelines listed on the link below and see if that helps:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/217010/how-to-generate-a-battery-health-report-on-Windows-8-or-Windows-10/

If you are not able to find something substantial report indicating that there is a problem with the battery, you can consider using another battery of work (if possible) and see if the problem occurs with another battery as well.

Infections of malware and viruses can also cause Windows to stop abruptly. To check and remove the infection, you can scan your system using security software (if any) installed on your system. In addition, you can also follow the guidelines listed on the link below to detect and remove infections:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/does-computer-have-virus#1TC=Windows-7
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/how-find-remove-virus
    https://www.Malwarebytes.org/antimalware/

If the problem persists, we recommend to contact the nearest Acer service center using the link below to check if there is no hardware problem:

    Hope this will help you.

  • screen goes black after a few minutes inactivity

When I'm reading or watching something, the screen becomes black. If I'm streaming videos, audio is still on. If I hit the touch pad, the screen turns back on.

Maybe the problem is with your power management settings:

I have a mouse battery that dies after 24 hours and the screen goes black after a few minutes of inactivity.
I changed the settings of the display in standby, the Power Options etc everything I can think of it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Can also someone point me in the direction of a manual online for the model.

    > The screen goes black after a few minutes of inactivity.
Can bring back you to life somehow, or you need to restart your Qosmio?

Usually the manual s user document is saved on the HARD drive (preinstalled original machine). Can find you it?
Did you check support page to Toshiba for manuals online (Toshiba page for the country of purchase)?

    Hi mery

Televisions are produced without a possibility to solve these problems alone. With the help of computers, it is possible to do something but on TV, it is quite limited. All you can do is to check the settings or install the latest firmware. No more than that.
All this is described in the document s user manuals.

I can't say for sure, but there must be a technical problem (hardware) and you need professional help. Warranty is still valid?

My computer keeps going back to the logon screen after a few minutes

    Hey Missy,

In addition, you can go through this post.

See if you can solve this problem by running SFC (System File Checker) scan in safe mode.

  • Pavilion dv2000 laptop computer under Win 7, slows down or freezes for a short period.

My Pavilion dv2000 running Win 7, slows down or freezes for a short period of time where, what seems to be, a talk-show audio plays.  Someone knows how to turn off tv and audio if you use no background.

I solved the problellm. After stripping the system of all the games and all other third party software, I discovered that the problem would occur when connected my net. If I started and did not attach the net audio problem has not occure.  It turns out that one of the files system temp to explore has been altered by a virus which, down, loaded each time that the system connected to the net.  Problem showed when testing the hard drive.  Ran the disk check which fixed the corrupt files, then reinstalled win 7 and other necessary software.  All right.

  • The display turns off after a few minutes and shows 'No Signal'

Hey guys, I was faced with a weird problem recently. My desktop monitor turns off by itself after a few minutes, but the works of CPU, I can hear the fan running and see the lights blink. One thing I noticed, is that when the screen turns off, the light Orange on the processor rest on which flashes normally just. My PC works normally on the mode without failure, but worse, safe mode, but I can't work on my software CorelDRAW. This may be the problem of SMPS? because recently, my entries of mouse and keyboard did not work due to which I got a USB keyboard and a mouse. I recently installed Windows 7 64 bit, but I think that shouldn't cause the problem since I have worked with Windows 64-bit before on the same machine.

    PC configuration-

    Intel Core 2 Duo 4500 @ 2.20 Ghz processor
    ASUS P5QPL-AM motherboard
    3 GB RAM
No (not sure, maybe integrated) graphics card
    1 TB harddrive

PS - I couldn't find an exact category for my problem.

    Hey Archer
Currently, I formatted my Windows 7 and installed Windows 8 and am these problems persist. I have not upgraded but formatted my C drive and installed a fresh new copy of windows 8... so I thnk it may be a problem of the SMP. Can he?

    Hi sunny

It can or mentioned being SMPS... the reason is... you have already said that the computer or the monitor works fine in safe mode! But since his past even when you install Windows 8,
    To make troubleshooting a
    1. go to the Bios and reset all default by selecting the optimum setting in the bios... Given that your motherboard has got characteristic overclocking and selection of the IGD... let him get by default...  Start the computer and check if the monitor turns off always.
    2. If step 1 does not solve your problem... then go to the power option in the control panel and select your power setting of the high-performance system where you can set your monitor to never go to sleep.  See what's happening... If the monitor still going to sleep even after this setting... then you have a problem with drivers or the motherboard... try updating the drivers and see if that helps.
    3. If the update of drivers did not help... so the next option is to review your material... try to get a replacement screen and see if this could solve this problem... A things you can deduct that if this also fails, then the obvious reason is that your monitor is ok... and problem must be the motherboard.
    4. Firstly check the display port... does it feel loose?
    a. do you have this port pins come out?
    b. your motherboard has two power connections (EATXPWR 24-pin and a 4-pin ATX 12V... are both connected?
    c. your SMP should be at least 400W according to recommendations from the manufacturer to you. Check this box...
    d. then ofcourcse obviously... Reinstall the Rams and other external devices.
Follow these steps and let me know your comments for each
