  Hello. Im having a problem with my computer Bios administrator password. I remember I put a password once, and then I removed the password once again, but now that I formatted my pc and returned to windows 7 ultimate, when I press F10 it asking me a password. I tried to put the same password I used the first time I tried, but it was not valid. I tried to put my user password is the administrator user, and it did not work... After 3 passwords, it shows me the numbers and I can't do nothing but put it off and on again.

  Regarding the other issue mentioned in your MP, try the following.

  Hold the ctrl and alt keys, then press delete.

  Select Task Manager.

  Click on file and select the new task.

  Type rstrui - also enter a tick in the box for "create this task with administrative privileges" - and click on Ok.

  When system restore interface has loaded, select a restore point at least 48 hours before the problem arose first and then proceed with the restoration of the system.

  I have a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop running Windows 7.  I have problems with it starting and leaving me with a black screen with just my cursor showing.  I can't do anything with it.  I could get the command prompts at the start to where it gives me the opportunity to leave the computer to repair itself. However: when I click on it, it forces me to submit my local/admisnistrator username and password before it will enter the phase of repair.  I never put the password that I remember and we tried on every password that I can remember never use without result.  This is the first part...

  I was able to get a screen that asks me to a self diagnostic run on the test at startup computer.  The result is:

  DST failed message indicates the hard disk has failed or is failing fast and must be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example, you have a HDD 500 GB so that you could use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.

  I have 3 accounts of different profile on my computer.  I can't connect to one of the accounts which is be the administrator.  I get an error saying password failed.  I have not set up a password on any of the accounts, but all of a sudden it says I need to have a... I don't know if someone using my computer accidentally entered a password and I have no idea how to get around that!    I'll try to remove and to put in place another but I can't do because he will have the password of the administrator.

  One of my friends got successfully locked out of her laptop HP Pav.  I agree try to recover part of its data files, but I see some posts here that the administrator/Power password can be reset (sometimes successfully with appropriate warnings).  It's the current stumbling block, there is no more, I hope.  If it is acceptable to have done that, I would like to ask for help please.  The Code is 55569929.  A help is appreciated and we thank you in advance.
