HP Pavilion Notebook 15-P144NE: battery and not charging
Hello
I bought a laptop from Doha yesterday and now I am in India. I used the computer laptop 2nd time, 1st time, I loaded the laptop and used but yesterday I do not charge the battery and used with Player in the charger. After a few hours battery drained after im pluggin installed in the charger yesterday. I left it on my table by putting the charger cable. But nothing happends... When I click the power button the flashes 3 times during 1 second.
How to activate the laptop suggestions?
I would try reinstalling the memory to see if any change - or withdrawal of one then the other-if you have two - to see if it will start.
Since you are under warranty, you'd be better off calling HP support.

Satellite L50 - A - 19 p - 0% battery and not charging
Hello
Since this morning, I have problems with my laptop battery.Even with the domain controller is connected, the suspension of the battery at 0% not charging and after a few seconds, Windows goes to sleep by itself.
I tried to start Windows in safe mode and the battery seems to work without even plugged DC so at 0%.Now I use the laptop without the battery and only with DC power.
Is there something I can do to solve the problem?
Thank you!
Try to uninstall the ACPI compatible control method battery.
This can be found in the device-> battery ManagerOnce the compatible ACPI control method battery driver disappeared (uninstalled), click on the 'Action' menu at the top of the window and select Scan for hardware changes.
This should reinstall the removed driver...
But if it does not solve the problem of battery, keep off compatible ACPI control method battery.

Hello
Hello
Yes you can. In addition, the best way to store the battery is to drain all first at 40% charge, then remove a store in a cool place.

Pavilion g6-2306el: life of the battery and using the laptop all day
Hello
I tend to use the laptop for work almost all day. If this is the case, she recommends simply detach the battery, instead of always keep at full load (since it has plugged all the time)? Thank you.
Modern laptop PC battery is smart. You don't do any damage in the battery while the laptop is running on current alternative. To some people say otherwise and there may be a very slight advantage in terms of reduction of charge cycles that are saved on the battery by deleting, but for me, the hassle of constantly take the battery now outweighs the very small gains.

Satellite A-L50-19N 0% battery and not charging
Hello
I used Toshiba eco utility and battery lifecycle saving mode (power icon in the State reported half full and not load bar).
Recently, I was forced to reinstall Windows, which has also removed all the drivers and software from Toshiba.
Now II'm having problems with the battery charge not, reports set to 0% and no battery power icon not charging even when main DC is plugged.I noticed this laptop often turns off the coast during the start or restart.
I guess that's due to the condition of the battery.
In other words, I can't re-enable charging battery.Power off the battery voltage in the BIOS and two sequential reboots do not seem to solve the problem.
Hello
How and what system reinstall you?
Have you used the image of Toshiba (average DVD or recovery USB memory) or maybe the HARD drive recovery? Or did you install the system using Microsoft Windows disc clean?
In case you have used the Microsoft Windows disk clean; have you installed all the drivers Toshiba and the Toshiba UE driver page tools?
Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

A few minutes later do research for similar problems, there was a solution to remove the battery and the charger then press and hold power for 30 seconds and 3-5 minutes then return the battery but it did nothing.
After with some research, the indicator load on all of a sudden and when I start the laptop it was on 12 percent and billed not (there is no indicator that the charger is plugged) and turns off suddenly without warning.
Later, with a bit of panic and thought, I removed the battery and the charge light lit, which allows me to boot up the laptop and when Windows starts, I plugged it to the battery and it says: 19% (plugged in, load) so I track for a bit, but it didn't move at all, even when I changed the power of High Performance for HP recommended settings , window 19% available (plugged in, load) but it's just, it, don't move or anything like that.
EDIT: When I unplugged the charger to move my computer laptop and plugged in again, the indicator not lit and does not charge the battery thus forcing me to shut down or Hibernate, and remove the battery to the charge light.
Your battery is quite likely to be having no longer life left.
It is that if your laptop starts up without the battery, since the race, the battery test is not a viable option.

Re: Satellite M60-188 - battery won't charge
Hello
I recently received a Satellite M60 and this morning when I plugged back the charger the battery indicator in the taskbar has shown a full battery when there was in fact only 4% left. And sudenly my computer stopped after a few minutes bipping because the battery is low.
It's my second Satellite (the other was aM70 and I changed the battery and the charger of the M70, but the problem remains the same) and now with my M60, it seems to be exactly the same problem (I only got the M60 for two weeks), I don't understand how the battery may already be damaged after 2 weeks.
If anyone can help me, thanks
Hello
I guess that your new laptop Satellite M60 was not new and it s a laptop second hand. Then the battery and the adapter AC Lentivirales, second hand, coins, or you use the Satellite M70?
However, I think that your battery is simply defective and must be replaced. If your laptop works with the AC adapter plugged there should not be a problem with the motherboard I think but a laptop technician can check this

I need to replace the battery and AC adapter of the Satellite Pro U400-160
I have a Satellite Pro U400-160.
I need to replace the battery and the charger of my Toshiba, but I am wary about compatibility issues.
Any battery for Satellite Pro U400 is suitable for mine?
As I can't find which batteries are specifically suitable for my computer.(For example: is this a: http://www.amazon.es/Bater%C3%ADa-Toshiba-Satellite-U400-11V-7800mAh/dp/B0051A9Y88/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1366885340&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=satellite+pro+u400?)
Is there a quick way to check if a battery / charger are compatible?
Each battery and adapter you get from Toshiba has specific part number. All you have to do is use this same part number and order. You should be able to find on the internet.
You can also get compatible parts you are ordering by the Toshiba authorized service provider in your country.By the way: all U400 models have the same construction and the similar specifications then all the batteries specified for U400 can be used on your U400-160.

blue screen after replacing the battery and charger / need of Windows XP Pro disc
Hi all.
I bought a used laptop from gateway with Windows XP Professional already on it. The person I got it never gave me the disc of Windows or textbooks and it is out of warranty. I had to replace the battery and the charger after 3 months of use, and it now gives me the blue screen. I can't enter in safe mode, it gives me just all sorts of codes for Win32 /? (different things). SYS. The blue screen also tells me if this keeps continues to go to F8(Advanced Options), and then choose the option. I called my local tech and he said contact Windows to get a disk to fix the problem. How can I do (I'm not a comp WIZ). So I try here to get any help. I am on a borrowed laptop so if you can help, please send me a personal email to * address email is removed from the privacy *. I get their
After reading the owner's manual for the NX260X (Chpt. 7, p. 72-74) I am convinced that the laptop, as previously indicated above by PML, is originally came with Windows Vista.
http://support.gateway.com/s/manuals/mobile/8511886.PDFIn addition, according to the instructions of the manual recovery (pg.74, means only available recovery Windows are re - install using the supplied DVD.) This is meaningless given that bridge claims the recovery partition was part of laptop computers sold after November 2004. I agree that, if you decide not to try to fix the errors, you should consider Windows 7.
However, personally, I would try to fix the mistakes here before you spend a minimum of $100.00 for Windows 7. We usually have a pretty good success rate when the OP stays with the subject.

PC Pavilion laptop: no sound on Pavilion g6 after installing the new battery CMOS
I have a Pavilion g6z - 1 d 00 CTO Notebook PC, model A2F43AV number. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium, and I upgraded the operating system to Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).
The problem is that I did not sound, either through headphones or the speakers even if the Volume is set at 55. I first noticed the audio problem after replacing the CMOS battery, as the laptop is 4 years old and he gave me intermittent wireless connectivity problems. After installing the new battery CMOS, I noticed the wireless driver was missing and downloaded/installed. Everything was fine except the audio. Then I reset the BIOS but nothing there as the BIOS version is v.49, and it is the most recent.
I have also downloaded/installed the driver audio and rebooted the PC. Still, there is no noise.
Finally, I have checked the audio drivers and the reporting system they work without any problem.
What should I do next?
Thanks, Terry
Thanks for the reply,
I was under the impression that these links would take you to guide step by step, however, it seems that they do not work,
However, I have provided details below:
To perform a hard reset on a computer equipped with a removable battery, follow these steps:
Turn off the computer.
Remove the computer from the docking station or port replicator.
Disconnect all external devices from devices such as USB, external displays storage devices and printers.
Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.
Remove the battery from the compartment to batteries.
Press and hold button power for about 15 seconds, remove any residual electric charge capacitors that protect memory.
Insert the battery and plug the power adapter into the laptop, but do not connect peripheral devices.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
If a boot menu appears, use the arrow keys to select start Windows normally and then press the Enter key.
After you have reconnected each peripheral device, run Windows Update and HP Support Assistant to update all device drivers.
To perform a hard reset on a computer equipped with a sealed or non-removable battery, follow these steps:
Turn off the computer.
Remove the computer from the docking station or port replicator.
Disconnect all external devices from devices such as USB, external displays storage devices and printers.
Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.
To perform a system recovery, this link should work: click here
Keep me posted for any technical assistance,
Kind regards

Pavilion 15 t-ak000 CTO: new laptop HP Pavilion Gaming
Just a heads up to help save other some frustrations. The new HP Pavilion Gaming laptop (model #: M0U20AV) doesn't seem to be evolving. Unlike the previous models of Pavilion 15, you can remove the bottom cover of the whole keyboard motherboard to upgrade the disk modules and memory or hard. This is not the case for this new version. The back cover when its the LCD hinges aren't seperatable. You can separate the front of the rear/keyboard by about 2 "cover after removing all the screws, including those under the battery and the cover hinges. You need to apply the pressure necessary separation "uncomfortable" to do it well.
Allows you to reach the 2 locations of memory dimm - so if you ' r brave enough to try to replace them. You will need almost three hands to do! Be warned however I tried to replace the module HP single with two G.Skill PC1600 DDR3 faster, memory sticks, who worked in a new laptop HP Envy and older models but do not work in this model. Since this is a new cpu/motherboard Skylake there is really no 3 bars of memory left there but I could find. I did research the same part of Samsung memory that came with it, but its quite expensive, so you might as well just get memory improved when the purchase of the laptop.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a blow against HP. Its a portable game good entry level at a fair price. I just wanted to give the do it your self s valuation heads-up play to help save time and trouble.
Thanks for the video link and the quick response!
PS: The two screws from the middle to the rear under the two stickers are the ones I forgot.
