Disconnected the LAN cable and activated the wireless button.

So basically, if the wireless is turned off before the Win10 install, it remains disabled and then nothing will allow it.

    Hello @PedroAAndrade,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I came across your post about the WiFi problem and wanted to help!

It is possible that the problem may be hardware related.  You can try to check the WLAN Module, to see if it properly connected.  You can use this guide to help you, if necessary:

HP Pavilion dm4 Entertainment PC - Maintenance and Service of Guide (Chapter 4, Page 40-42).

  • Pavilion DV7-1451nr: Wireless button stays amber

My pavilion dv7-1451nr turns wireless keyboard blue when I have to reset the motherboard by removing the battery and press the power button / stop seconds, after which I plug in charger to him while leaving the battery and press the power button / stop. After that, I would like to press f10 to enter the bios setup, then I would like to load the defaults, save and exit.

After doing all that I have explained above, the wireless button becomes blue and wireless assistant would be activated and indicates that the wireless is turned on. If I check in the Device Manager, I see the hardware details and driver wireless populated it and everything should work fine, but once I restart the computer, the wireless button would refuse to start. There is orange. If I try to check the State of the material status and driver WLAN on Device Manager, they would be is more filled it more and wireless assistant will refuse to start. If by chance he started, this would indicate that the wireless is turned off by the Device Manager.

I had tried uninstalling the wireless LAN driver and reinstalled just in case the problem came from the software side but not solution. Just this afternoon, I have decoupled from the computer and removed the card WLAN, dusted it and replace it back, but the problem persists.

The type of wireless network card is Atheros AR5007 802.11 b/g WiFi adapter. I noticed something this afternoon, however, after having checked the service manual for the computer, I realized that there is specific types of the wireless card compatible for specific regions. For example, the number of appropriate wlan spare parts which must be on my computer is 582564-002 and have this with references with the number of spare part of wlan on the wireless card available on my computer that begins with sps 452..., I realized something was wrong. I'll leave that to stop you guys from HP, but I really need a solution to this problem very fast because it's really annoying me. Thank you.

    Hello @LL_Cool_J,

    Thanks for the information!

I don't know what you mean, when he asked if the model is 50xx or 40xx. Confirming the WLAN Module is a little difficult, because there are several manuals maintenance for this model.  I was able to refine the selection a bit, by comparing the numbers of spare part for hard drives.  Based on this REPAIR, the WLAN Modules you have listed, 582564-002, 593836-001, must be compatible.  However, I don't see the Atheros as option in this manual.  To be on the safe side, you can contact our telephone support HP.  Please use the following http://www.hp.com/contacthp and create a folder for your question and contact HP. • HP Pavilion dv5-2135dx: get active bluetooth / work?

I operate bluetooth. but it seems that I hit dead ends and nothing done yet to get bluetooth working on windows 64-bit 10.

I tried the two drivers of bluetooth of the page of the official product of the hp driver "sp50180" & "sp52533".

    driver page - http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-dv5-2100-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-serie...

I tried running both in compatibility mode for xp sp3 and windows 7 without success, they did not

"sp52533" generates the error "bluetooth hardware must be put on run this installation package ' but the thing is that I have yet to see/find bluetooth under devices so I can enable it

'sp50180' outputs error "this application cannot run on this pc" as I have said - I tried compatibility mode for xp sp3 and windows 7. It doesn't work anymore

    under c:\SWSetup\SP50180 there is 'Inst.exe' and 'BTW.msi '.

the two let me install the driver/software but it does not work, I still have not found bluetooth under > devices in the settings even after install/install these

would be very grateful of the solution/fix/workaround to resolve what to get my bluetooth for windows 64-bit 10.

I don't want to go back to windows 7 just to get the work of bluetooth. I just want to use my bluetooth with my laptop speakers.

    Hello:

According to the page of specifications of product for your laptop, it doesn't come with built in bluetooth network.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv5-2100-entertainment-notebook-PC-series/4210545/model/4317148/document/c02474306/

If so, this feature would have been listed as well as WLAN 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity specifications.

Then I looked to the top of the model wireless network card that your laptop is in the parts list...

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=XH004UA

It does not list a separate bluetooth module and adapter WiFi Atheros AR9285 802.11 b/g/n (1 x 1) (more people) it is the map that you see listed under the category of peripheral cards Network Manager, if not an adapter without wireless/bluetooth combination.

So I would say that you get the message "bluetooth hardware must be on" because there is a total absence of the bluetooth hardware, which, according to all that I have written, makes sense as to why you can not bluetooth works.

  • HP pavilion dv6t a1u60aar: wireless driver not found.

    Hey.

I need to reinstall windows 7 on my laptop but I can not find a driver compatible wireless.

I forgot to back up the recovery.

I tried a lot of drivers that are in this web site.

I also tried the hp support, but it cannot find a driver for the wireless card.

    Help, please.

    Thank you.

    Hello:

There is no information available online about what model of wireless card your laptop is.

Please do the following so I can understand that, and then I'll post the links to the drivers you need.

Go to Device Manager.  There should be a category of other devices containing a list of devices that need drivers under this category.

The wireless card is labeled as a network controller.

Click the network controller device, and then click the Details tab in the upper part of the window of network controller device.

Now you should see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

On this list and select the second element (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window.
