NVIDIA nForce network controller driver
Have a Pavilion a1700n with Vista Home 32-bit (SP2) Preimium. You will need to re - install the drivers for the NVIDIA nForce Network Controller, but need to re - install the driver. May not know exactly what model of controller I have, so don't know what driver to pull out of the NVIDIA site.
Features HP are very generic to describe the network controller, and the driver for the controller does not appear on the list of available drivers on the HP site for this computer.
The driver for the network part of the NVIDIA chipset drivers, if you can't get by using the Recovery Manager, you can download drivers download for your O.S. and chipset NVIDIA nForce

NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller issues
I have a hand built system running Windows XP sp3. It does not recognize one of the pilots who strives to update and suggested I have uninstall and then try to re - install. In doing so, he made sure I can't access the internet. After having diagnosed the problem, I found that it was disabled and uninstalled my NVIDIA nForce network controller. When I tried to re - install, it says that I need an installation disc. I don't have a disc, so I contacted NVIDIA. They informed me that they offer no support for this controller when part of a card mother and suggested that I contact Microsoft. Can someone help me find an installation disc, or suggest that I could do to make this work?
Hello
You can probably download the drivers from the support page for your computer.
Or maybe it will work for you, http://download.cnet.com/NVIDIA-nForce-Networking-Controller/3000-2112_4-143144.html
If during the installation, it offers to install the nVidia firewall. JUMP.

Network adapter driver does not work with the recovery discs provided by hp
Hello
My wireless light does not illuminate. The network adapter driver does not install from the recovery of the driver CD.

PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8176 & SUBSYS_1629103C
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8176 & CC_028000
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8176 & CC_0280
Thank you
You are the very welcome.
It does not sound like a heat problem.
I don't know a lot about the repair of hardware issues beyond replacement memory and hard drives.
I could try to clean the area of fan/radiator with a can of compressed air and see if that clears any dust that may accumulate.
To do this, disconnect the laptop from the AC adapter and remove the battery.
Insert a rod through the air fan to keep the blades turning when you spray air.
Spray through the air intake fan and watch to see the dust out of the exhaust.
Repeat once or twice and blow air from the other direction of the drain line to the fan.
The other driver, you need is the driver of protection Protectsmart hard.
See if it works.

HP g72: Network Controller driver is not installed
Hi, I have a problem with the laptop which does not display the WiFi signals at all, network controller driver is missing, so I think the problem is because of this driver, but I'm unable to get, how to find, or please help to fix my WiFi problem.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp52330.

network controller driver will not install on pavilion dv7-6c20us
After a new installation of Windows 7 64 bit, I was passing by and install all the drivers. I can't get WiFi to work, it says the pilot "cannot properly installed.» The wired LAN Controller and all other drivers seem to install, very good, but not wireless. (I've tried a few)
Also, I went into the BIOS (which I've read here to try) to disable the saving of LAN, but this option was not there for me.
OK, I got it working. I actually found some real advice on Yahoo Answers (I know, right?)
The driver who ended the work is here: support1.toshiba-tro.de/tools/updates/realtek-wlan/realtek_wlan_win7_2000016L_20110523.zipThese are the instructions that I followed:
You first need to know what model of network card you have in your system.
If you are using the network card on the motherboard, then you need to install the drivers for your motherboard CD.
If the network adapter is a PCI card, you must:
1. right click on MY COMPUTER then click MANAGE
2. open the Device Manager and right click on 'Network controller' (should appear with a yellow question mark) and then click Properties.
3. go to the tab "Détails" and you should see "Device Instance Id" and below, you should have something like this:
PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8168 & SUBSYS...
The parts that interest you are the codes after "VEN_" and "DEV_".
In my case, the codes are 10EC and 8168.
Go to www.pcidatabase.com and look up the first code (vendor code).
Click on the name of the vendor and search (CTRL + F) for the device code.
There you should find the model name and number of your network adapter. You can then search for drivers.
For example: search for PROVIDER 10EC and you should find:
Realtek Semiconductor
Click on the name of the seller and on the page that displays search 8168 and you should find:
Chip number: RTL8168/8111
Description of the chip: Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)
Notes: DRIVER for XP PRO SERVICE PACK 2
