• When I turn on my HP Pavilion dv7-1245DX Turion 64 windows vista computer does not load

  My laptop is a HP Pavillion DV7 1245 DX/Turion 64 bit running Windows Vista. When I turn on my laptop, the fans run, the lights are on, but windows only is not loading. I left on for a few hours and windows not loading always not. I would like to know if there is a way to solve this problem. My laptop is not quite 3 years old.

• Pavilion dv7-1245dx Hp TrueVision HD web cam does not. It has worked before.

  Thinking that it is a hardware driver not knowing how to find the TrueVision HD internal.  I used the viewfinder to see if all the drivers are up to date.  Used hp recovery to check for problems, everything is good.   Think the lens must be truned on.  All this is after a new fatory reset.  Yahoo Messenger is either not found.   I understand why internal webcam not found.   All I had to do was install cyberlink 1002 Hp drivers and reinstall the Applications.

  As I understand it there is only one two cyberlink reinstalls one is 3.5 and the other is 1002.

  Both on the same page 1002 is located about 15 lines under the first.

  I understood why the CYberlink Youcam found internal unit. All I had to do was install cyberlink 1002 Hp drivers and reinstall the Applications.

  There are two cyberlink reinstalls a 3.5 and the other 1002.

  stopped and restarted and all gone, I tried f11 and it doesn't work, my cd rom was unable to read the discs for about two months, I bought a 32 GB usb flash drive and I do not have the recovery disks.  need to copy recovery usb flash disks to recover the laptop

  If windows does not start, it will be more difficult to transfer files, windows still starts?

  If windows starts again, install Easeus Todo backup Free edition and 'clone' the old hard drive to the new, once this is done put the new drive cloned in Bay 1, it should now boot windows on the new drive. No need to transfer files if it works.

• HP Pavilion dv7 button walk / stop does not

  Hi, I recently had my Hp Pavilion dv7-1245dx Entertainment Notebook (to the best of my knowledge bc, I can't look it up in my product number) fixed some viruses and malware that caused random stops and freezes. My laptop worked fine after that the fix so I installed the latest updates to better protect my laptop but when I left and my laptop came into fashion 'sleep' it would not respond and the screen was black. I stopped using the power button and it turned back. The computer does not start and the flash caps lock button three times which means a problem of memory, according to HP support, that happened before I got my laptop fixed. Later, I unplugged the AC adapter and moved my laptop but when I tried to put it on the power button does not respond and I can't do anything with my laptop. Both recommended options for the issue of cap locks and the power button is to go inside my laptop and tinkering with the battery and the memory module. I'm very hesitant to do so for fear of further harm to my laptop. I am on Windows 7 and advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated. (will give you more information if necessary)

  Your notebokdoes have removable covers for the module of memory in the bottom of the laptop. It's just as shown in the document I linked.

  You will need to buy a Jewelers screwdriver set.  A jewellers Phillips scredriver is necessary.

  Here is a link to a documentthat explains the flashing LED error codes and what they mean.

  The only other option, if you do not have enough confidence to do it yourself, is to take your laptop in a shop that will do it for you.

  First, try the automated Microsoft fixit at the link below.

  Windows 7

  Check if the drive works now.

  If the drive does not, in the Start Menu, open Control Panel and click Device Manager.  Click to open the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.  Right-click on the first channel and select uninstall.  Do not delete if requested drivers.  When uninstalled repeat the process for each channel.  Also, if an ATA controller is listed, right click and uninstall it, once again is not removing the drivers if requested. Then, open the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives.  Right-click on the drive and choose uninstall.  Do not delete if requested drivers.

  Restart the computer and let Windows reinstall devices.  Check the disc again.

  If it still does not work, re-run the fixit automated Microsoft at the link below.

  My Wi - Fi key is that since my last update Win 10 this week and disable airplane Mode.  No way to establish a wireless connection.  Anyone who has another experienacing cela or did I possibly an incorrect update somehow.   My Ethernet connection works fine.  Tried to update from HP Support Assistant, so that to solve the problems - and that settles it not or because it cannot find an old file to uninstall.  Ideas for a solution would be appreciated...   I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion dv7-1245dx Entertainment Notebook and problems with the WiFi doesn't work does not correctly.

  Some say that you could restore the BIOS using factory default values with this. Here is a document that shows you how to restore the default BIOS settings. In this way, it will look at the hardware installed on your laptop.

  You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

  Received fatal blue screen. .. laptop keeps Bestbuy for repairs and was said motherboard was faulty and my laptop bought in 2011 is obsolete! • Should DV7-1245dx, which fixed (on 3) I try?

  Now I look a 1245dx dv7 with nothing attached to it but the speakers, monitor, keyboard and audio jacks.  The laptop has a blank screen and flashing caps-Numlock.  According to the website, this means that there is a problem with the a/c.  There was the problem with tilt cord for the computer to start but everything seems ok and is not loose.

  So basically I can try to replace the motherboard

  replace the cable

  replacing the battery

  or try to fix the power supply (which seems not broken from what I see)

  I tried all the fixes on the site.  You know everything, just not if it happens all the time and it's just an another dead mother.  If this is the case I could try just to Cook!  I'm also open to other suggestions

  This may or may not work. The series dv7-1000 AMD versions had some problems of motherboard and it is possible that. If so, I would not cook it but for $70 or so if you can remove the motherboard, there are competent services online stores who can do a good reflow with real equipment of hawking. Baking jobs tend to fail after 30 to 60 days. A good reformatting may last a few years.
