• Wuauclt.exe memory and processor

  I have a problem with wuauclt.exe.  It activates all 20 minutes and stalls completely all other activities on my computer, using 90-100% of my CPU.  I read that the solution is to disable automatic updates. I did it, I rebooted, and yet I still have this problem.  If I go to the Task Manager when wuauclt.exe running and I manually stop the process, my CPU usage immediately goes down immediately.  I don't want to remove wuauclt.exe constantly since I I want to use it as a time to get my updates.  Is there something I can do, and if not, how to remove wuauclt.exe?

  It makes no sense because it's guessing on what might be things.

  The automatic update service seems to be involved in this issue.  Not all machines well experience the problem.  It may be more common
  on systems that have installed the 512 MB of RAM or less, but it varies.  The amount of RAM your system installed?

  When you restart your system, the auto update is supposed to run, looking for things to do and if he doesn't find anything to do, it should run

• Upgrade memory 667 Mhz for Satellite U300

  I have a new Satellite u300-11v and I was hoping to upgrade the memory standard modules of current 2 x 1 GB 2 x 2 GB ddr800 for a max speed of memory. However, after looking at intels site for specifications of the chipset for my machine (its got an intel mobile GM965 chipset) it seems that it will only support up to 667 mhz RAM modules.

  Reading a little further, I think that if I have a memory at 667 mhz bus it can only be reached through the module 1 x 2 GB at 667 mhz. Currently I put 2 x 2 GB 667 modules in the machine, the default memory bus at 533 mhz.
  I watched chipset specs of your laptop (945GM) while I was on the site intels and your in the same boat as me.

  Heres so the dilemma: you have just 1 x 2 GB 667 MHz memory to get this speed little extra memory or go for 2 x 2 GB to the slowest to 533 mhz to accommodate all these massive windows page file.

  For me, have family Vista premium running on a machine that can bring together only a bus 533 mhz memory with 4 GB of ram is not acceptable while I will now go back to XP pro which is not so heavy on resources.

  Did you really notice the difference between the memory 533 MHz bus and memory 667 MHz modules?

  Of course, there is a small difference in performance, but you will never get a performance gain by using the modules of 667 MHz instead of 553 Mhz modules.

  You can install the CPU the fastest there is on this list.  They should all work, as long as, the power is identical to the original.

  Now for the video card.  I like your choice of cards.  I was actually looking at the same map myself.  It's too long for my rig, however.  I was emailing back with XFX technicians for several days.  I think that it is 10 "long.  Here is a link to the XFX site compare different 9800GTX cards:

  They are 10 '' long as I said.  You need to open the case and measure your existing card; including the power connector.  In addition, the remaining distance to the nearest obstacle.

  (1) are the best processors listed in the manual dv7t as Intel Core 2 Duo T9800 2.93 GHz parts 507951-001 and other compatible.

  (2) can I replace the current Board system with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 discrete graphics with 1 GB dedicated memory?  What is the difference between parts # 516294-001 516293-001 against?  The two identical descriptions a.

  Is it useful to upgrade (i.e. it would improve windows performance index)?

  Is it easy to replace the motherboard?  All the specialty tools?

  The dv7 series is a challenge even for experienced laptop technicians. There are several boards of sup and ribbon cables going in all directions. The T9800 will agree and will work on any one of the motherboards in the manual that you apparently (let me know if not) and will greatly increase the WEI on the processor. She is always equivalent to most of the i3 processors.  The HD 4650 is going to be a pretty big improvement on the HD 4530. But that's like saying I'd rather have a 1964 Chevrolet as a 1953 Chevrolet... nor is technologically current as for video cards go. Current demanding games will exceed the 4650's powers.

  I checked partsurfer for two motherboards that you list and I checked the manual. There is widespread confusion. PartSurfer lists the jury 294 as a "UMA" or integrated graphics subsystem, and lists the 293 Commission that the use of dual core AMD processors.   Furthermore, I'm not an expert on all the terminology describing differences in features in the memory modules.  I am looking to buy some things named parties as "204 pin DDR3 SO - DIMM DDR3 1333 mhz (PC3-10600)".  I have a vague feeling that the 1333 mhz and 10600 represent speeds, but the default components appear to be "PC2-6400, 800 mhz DDR2.  I have a problem of compatibility between these new parts to buy?

  I think it shouldn't be a big problem with the compatibility because the HARD disk controller supports the SATA interface and the SATA SSD drive should also be compatible.

  Dual Channel does not require two execatly the same memory modules.

  So, theoretically, you can use a module of RAM 2 GB and 4 GB RAM module.
  I advise to use 4 GB of RAM in A slot and 2 GB of RAM in slot B

  But the two modules must supports the same speed (800 Mhz), otherwise the module more quickly would be pointing down.

• HP Compaq 7600 Ultra Slim: Upgrade memory and video on a HP Compaq 7600 Ultra Slim

  I have two questions that maybe someone could help me with regard to computer HP Compaq 7600 Ultra Slim (Base).

  Quesition 1: motherboard has three locations of memory instead of 4, this means that memory can only be improved to 3 s gig? I am currentlly have three 512 memory chips for altogether 1.5 Gig, but I want to upgrade to the maxi I think it is 4 GB. (I had tried to use gig two chips and 512, 1 but they didn't work because the 1 GB have been 6400's.)

  Question 2: I tried different ways to install a PCI-E video card but I do not see how it fits. The rear panel has a scsi interface in the PCI riser card. I removed the SCSI card, but no matter how I tried, I don't see how to hold the card. Any body is not picture on how it must be inserted?

  Graphic... you can not add a conventional PCI express graphics card.

  See page 11 for graphics only map available.

  The slot that resembles a location PCIe x 16 is for a special HP. planning DVI ADD2 card.

  And even if the quickspecs state that this map is available for the USDT (at page 10) this document of specific information that is not.

• find the real problem between memory and processor or beween food and virus!

  In addition to the pieptones how you can know if the problem is with CPU or memory, how you can distinguish the problem if there is a real problem whith one of this material in two?

  just to know I took off the memory of my laptop and I saw the screen went black, I did the same thing with the processor, and it had the same sign as the dark memory screen.

  so my question is,

  1. How do I know when this two material is damaged one who is the origin of the problem whitout having any reserve memory by me? is there any tool material memory Tester?

  2. sometimes computer restarts every few minutes when there a supply or virus problem, how you can distinguish the problem if it is based on the power supply or a virus by the desktop computer whitout having any multimeter by you, is there a tool like a pen that you can measure the power supply of power or the volt?

  defects of power supply - search the net for articles like http://www.techrepublic.com/article/learn-to-troubleshoot-power-supply-problems/ (there are many other tips) BUT PAY Attention when messing around with the power supply. Obvious care to avoid damage to the PC or worse, damaging yourself!

  viruses - there are many scanners available as http://www.malwarebytes.org/ if malware your PC is stable enough to run them. If your PC does not start there are scanners bootable, you can download it from a certain AV companies, you can start your PC and then from the scanner.

  NOTE: If you download software, download from a site deemed safe and always fully AV check on a system that works before you install or run - just to be sure.

  net start cmrdmgtd

  but it's only the error display:

  "The service not responding to the control function".

  Active syslog.log and dmgtd found the warning messages that are probably responsible for preventing the process to start.

  PX_FQDN = ns - pup.cisco.com > FQDN, if there are

  NMSROOT = C: / PROGRA ~ 2/CSCOpx > change the NMSROOT complete file according to your installation.

  After replacing the file... Restart the server
