HP Pavilion dv7 Bluetooth adapter no longer works

HP Pavilion dv7.  #ABC product number WQ641UA.  My built-in bluetooth stopped working a few weeks ago. It caused an error from Outlook that seems turned off the bluetooth adapter.  Yesterday, the HP support assistant recommends an upgrade of the Bluetooth software for the wireless Broadcom 43224AG card.  Software will not load because it cannot detect the Bluetooth adapter.  I don't know how to re-enable the bluetooth feature.  It does not appear in either the BIOS or Windows Mobility Center.

Yes... seems to be a problem with the hardware only. As a result of the manual, you can also try reinstalling the Bluetooth card once.

You can get the Bluetooth card replaced either by calling technique supports directly or if not under warranty you can order it online at HP parts store. You can buy the piece by calling technical support also.

HP parts store

Enter the serial number and the number of the product in the link above and it will show you all the spare parts available for your laptop. The contact number for Bank of parts is also listed in the link. If the part is not available it also will show you all dealers allowed to the Canada.

  • Bluetooth mouse no longer works and cannot remove a device.

1 week old Bluetooth mouse suddenly stopped working with my laptop.  Until someone said, yes I checked the batteries and I've used it with another PC, the mouse is not the problem.

in any case, I tried to plug it into my laptop several times and not the laptop cannot find it.  To frustrate me more, Windows 8 won't let me delete my mouse as a device (I wanted to try and plug it back again from scratch).  Just comes up with a message "cannot delete device '.  I tried several times.
I think as long as I can remove the mouse like device, I should be able to connect successfully... Any help or advice?

Hey guys I looked for a solution for 'my Bluetooth device is connection and disconnection or my Bluetooth device disconnects and removed t' a week ago and finally painting things worked well

    FIRST PROBLEM

1 - Here's what you can do in windows 8 and the problem is that your machine can t be removed:

1 - Go to "Control Panel" and then type "Device Manager" and then the "double click on"Device Manager"

2-u'll find a long list, probably you won t find the icon "Bluetooth" word on it, then you will need to click on 'view' in the top left of the window and choose "see the hidden devices" after that you will notice that the word Bluetooth is appeared in the list, double-click the new list all appears but it'll not be in bold in this new list under Bluetooth search title for the name of the device you use, like hp Bluetooth mouse or mouse Logitech Bluetooth or headset or things like that, your product you have attached and does not not must be in the list below Bluetooth option search anyway then it uninstall and then close all the control panel and sub windows of it , then go to "Devices" at the top right 1 class 2 - click pc settings 3-change 4-devices choose

    5. If you find the device it uninstall and it'll be uninstalled with success or u can not find more on your list of devices

then restart your computer and you can associate your device successfully in 'Add a device option' in your page "devices."

but w8 is not completed yet, you must do things more :) to avoid this problem from happening again:

    1. open "Device Manager" this time you will find Bluetooth option when you open it without doing anything, so you double-click it, the list will open fat this time in one of the option you'll find adapter 'word' at the end of one of the s long option name click this title of void, you will find some title in one of the name of titles there are "Power management."  Uncheck the options that are probably ticked then click 'ok' and then pair your Bluetooth, this time it should work correctly.

Problem 2 seconds if you experience a problem where the your Bluetooth device's connection and disconnection periodically by itself:

    1. open "Device Manager" this time you will find Bluetooth option when you open it without doing anything, so you double-click it, the list will open fat this time in one of the option you'll find adapter 'word' at the end of one of the s long option name click this title of void, you will find some title in one of the name of titles there are "Power management."  Uncheck the options that are probably ticked then click 'ok' and then pair your Bluetooth, this time it should work correctly.

Let me know if it worked for you guys, hopefully

    Hello

It is always interesting to try a Hard Reset as follows.

Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter and start Notepad.

  • Qosmio X 500: power adapter no longer works no reason

    Hello

Now I have my Qosmio X 500 for a year and I love it, however I have little problems with it, and I would like to know if it can be problematic.

The first thing is that my adapter stopped working without reason,
So I bought a new but always makes the noise when the laptop was completely responsible.
I know people with the same laptop and their adapter did not have that sizzling noise, looks like it was already since the beginning.

Then I have a dead pixel in the middle of my screen, no problem for me.

Finally, my screen is a bit loose in the laptop, when I close, I can move it, it always seems as if it was not now is a good place because when I close it normally is not 100% horizontal...
Also when I replace my screen, my speakers make crackling and my webcam no longer works.

So all these problems I annoy me, especially the last one (problem webcam and speakers), can he adapt in the laptop warranty? I extend the one year warranty...

    Thanks in advance.

    > The first thing is that my adapter stopped working for no reason,.
    > So I bought a new but always makes the noise when the laptop was completely responsible.

I think it's AC adapter fault may be a broken cable or something like that I recommend you replace this get in touch with the dealer and request a new.

    > So I have a dead pixel in the middle of my screen, no problem for me.

I found info on issues such as:
+ Information about the tolerance of failure of the technology and pixel of the screen for LCD screens
    + http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9502LZ0000R02.htm

    > Finally my screen is a bit loose in the laptop, when I close, I can move it, it always seems as if it was not now is a good place because when I close it normally is not 100% horizontal... Also when I replace my screen, my speakers make crackling and my webcam no longer works.

Maybe you should ask technicians for Toshiba laptop for checking maybe a few screws or hinges are detached.
The speakers should be checked with a wired headset. If you don't see the same crackling noise use a headset, so the problem could be related to speakers

    I've had my Satellite A300 - 10 M for 5 months now.

Today the power adapter went 'pop' (literally with a ' pop' sound) and no longer works.
Battery is fine, computer laptop is fine, it is just the power adapter.

I have the reliability of refund thing so I phoned this number first, but they are not open on a weekend.
Since this is a day Bank holiday here in England, I will probably be able to get through until Tuesday.

My warranty will cover the replacement of the adapter?

I have to send my laptop in, or will they send just the replacement AC?

    Thank you

    Hello

Of course the warranty would cover the replacement of the power adapter.

As far as I know that the international standard warranty covers all parts of a year long laptops.

Your laptop is 5 months old and so the warranty should still be valid!

    Hello

Unfortunately, I used to play Rugby, so I not only have big hands but have several fingers broken during this time so that they are that agile

It seems, from your experience, you will be able to replace the processor yourself.  The list of compatible processors and the replacement procedure begins on Page 109 of your & Maintenance Guide.

  • Pavilion dv7: wireless adapter seems to have stopped working

I had no problem with the laptop except yesterday wireless internet starting to detiorate - I thought he could have local internet (distance), but today he gave up altogether. Fortunately, I have with me and plugged ethernet cable from router to the laptop and it works perfectly.

I also thought that it may have been a significant update of windows that came through yesterday so I reset the syetem of before the update day, but this has not fixed the problem.

I have had a look in the Device Manager and have not found anything obvious, although my experience is limited

I will not always have the luxury of a cable connection and would dearly like to have the ability to reuse wireless.

    Can you help me please

Hello and thnaks for the help. I looked in Device Manager and found 27 wifi networks (I travel a lot), I removed all and reconnected and hey presto - its working again.

I don't know if this solution will help others but for what its worth, it worked for me

    See you soon

  • HP Pavilion DV7-2015tx adapter beep and not charging.

I desperately need help. I have a pavilion laptop Dv7-2015tx computer and my adapter is beeping and refusing to load. My battery recently failed, and so I can't turn on my laptop. I tried a hard reset, I tried to leave it unplugged for an hour and even shaking autour as suggested by some people on some forums as a solution. The light on the adapter is not on, and this problem has happened 2 times before, both times, the adapter has continued to work after about an hour to be disconnected. This time he didn't. I contacted HP telephone support, but they said that I was going to post a MASSIVE $33 phone support because it was out of warranty. I can't find an answer on this forum and want to be able to find a solution without having to buy another card. Before this problem, my laptop was turned off for a day and a night while being plugged. I desperately need help, please answer from HP.

I'm certainly not under warranty, but I have a solution anyway. I called HP customer care again and this time I was told that it is a good, hard to solve the problem. The only solution is a new adapter, but I found a new on for under $ $20 on eBay still we made a simple diagnosis, for example, by ensuring that it was still beeps when it is plugged into the wall but not the laptop, and the fire was still out. I'm still bummed that I have to wait for delivery, but my laptop needs to go in a factory repair for a noisy fan problem, and also a radiator problem that caused my laptop to get up to 70 degrees, so it's a good time to wait.

In Device Manager, I'll see under "Bluetooth-devices" only "-Bluetooth enumerator. I don't see anything in the enumerator "Bluetooth."

Didn't destroy my wireless devices by cutting so that the closing...?

If so, why the adapter wireless network will show as being installed, active and functioning correctly in Device Manager?

  • Pavilion dv7-3112: arrows does not work cannot change boot order

    Hi all

Ive just bought a 2nd pavilion laptop in hand I can't reformat. My problem is the arrow keys of the keyboard, to the top to the bottom and right don't work only the arrow to the left. Someone else changed the boot order so I can't return it back to boot from the cd rom without arrows. As I am here in Australia I don't have access to the new keyboards. Can give you any advice. thnx in advance.

    Hello

One option would be to temporarily connect a keyboard external usb.

In addition, if you are trying to boot from an installation disc, I could do this via the Boot Manager menu, rather than set the boot priority in the bios menu because it is often ignored - you can do the following.

Insert the installation disc and the laptop shutdown .

Click next to the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to enter the Boot Menu, and then select the Boot Options Menu ( f9 ).

Use the arrow keys to select the option of CDROM and press ENTER - if you are prompted to "Press any key to continue...". "- make.

  • Bluetooth keyboard no longer works on Dell XPS 13 (9350)

This morning my Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 which was already very well stopped working with my XPS 13 (9350, running Windows 10). The keyboard is grayed in devices and printers. I tried to remove an instrument from there, but he won't. I tried to add again as a new device, but it is not detected.

Also Microsoft Help says Bluetooth needs to be displayed in the start menu > settings > devices but there is nothing about Bluetooth technology in there, which makes me wonder if Bluetooth stopped working entirely.

I have the latest updates to Windows, Dell and BIOS updates. I have updated drivers using Driver Reviver (although some not always update all) and also relevant drivers looking for Bluetooth in the Device Manager. alone was obsolete, but it made no difference. Also rebooted several times during all this.

    What should I do?

In fact I finally fixed it, as a result of this video:

    cs_setInnerHtml ('video_3649fa29-4eba - 4b 73 - a87a - b8b751a56db9', ");

Then, I managed to get an instrument of devices and printers (he continued to show gray but had gone, not obvious until I clicked on the arrow to refresh), and then added again with device adds and he then worked.
