Where can I get the ISO images to build a DVD to back to factory settings, system as he went out the book. As you had to install the OEM version even if I have a sticker of holgram WIN8 it seems to be without license key. or should I buy the HP image, and if so someone go the link

Hello

You can order a replacement set of the recovery media in the HP partner on the link below (I assumed the model No., you live in the United Kingdom).  These drives/flash player will automatically read the windows product key embedded in the bios.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    I just put my moms old computer back to the factory setting and mounted a new ethernet card. His ISP is Virgin Media, which you do not receive a disc for. If you are experiencing network connectivity problems in Internet Explorer, the first thing to do is to make sure that all cables are connected. Then open Network Diagnostics by right-clicking the network icon in the notification area, and then click diagnose and repair (if you use Windows Vista) or solve problems (if you use Windows 7).

    If the problem persists, see the following articles:

  • I NEED ASSISTANCE TO RESTORE THE COMPUTER BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS

    I have a Dell Vista Home Premium 32 bit computer.  On April 14, I tried to update some drivers, install a music player & even install Vista Service Pack 1.  Is Service Pack 1 bis new section?  I've had my computer for several years and I have automatic updates, so I was surprised when I turned on my computer on April 14, and a message came saying Windows was this important update & I wanted to install, I did.

    Anyway, between all the stuff I did that night I somehow totally messed up my computer.  When nothing would not properly work, I went up to the back & Food Center.  I used this at least a couple of times before without a problem.  This time however, there is no restore point of your choice except April 14.  Anything before that.  When I click on choose another restore point, nothing happened.  I tried to choose April 14 restore point but that didn't help.  Then, to really live things, I decided to restart my computer in Mode safe.  I will never use this option again.  Now I can't get into anything other than Safe Mode.  I ran Spyware, Malware and all the options 'repair your computer' I could find.  Nothing did.  I came on this forum once and the person who helped me finally said the only thing that remains for me to do was to do a full system restore.  He said there was nothing more he could think of to help me.  He didn't tell me how.

    I'm not crazy to do recovery, because I don't know that I will have things then it will fix it, as my Internet service and who knows what else.  But not having not much money right now, I don't want to take my computer somewhere to be fixed if I have to.  Could you please help me to do a full system recovery?  First of all, how can I save my photos and my files, I don't want to lose?  And how do I know what I need to save?  I have a USB flash Memory Stick that I plugged into my computer.  He downloaded the software but I have no idea how to do to get my files to transfer to it.

    And what if I have a virus?  Would I transfer to the portable storage device and then reintroduce the virus to my computer when I transfer this back?  I ran spyware & malware and nothing shows up, but clearly SOMETHING is wrong.  I have a disc of reinstalling that came with my computer but I shouldn't need to use this, should I?  Someone has the patience to give me DETAILED instructions on how to make the recovery, including how to do a back up?  I would love you forever.

    It's way to Dell to reinstall from the DVD on your computer.

    And that way if you also have a recovery partition on your hard drive.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    To backup your data: files, photos, music, etc:
    1. plug the flash drive
    2. go in where your files are stored
    3. click right on what you want to record, example: a photo album > Send to > click on the USB Flash Drive(it might be Drive E: or F:)> it will save to it)
    4. Repeat until you have backed up all your data.
    When it comes time to reinstall the data, connect the Flash drive, AFTER that you have an anti-virus and Anti-Malware installed, right click on the flash drive? It Scan before copying the files on your computer.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    After the reinstallation of this Image, you should have a period of trail for an anti-virus; ask here if you don't for a free good.

    And reinstall these 2 programs I gave you.
    You're doing a right click and scan your Flash drive with them:

    Step by step procedures are included in the user manual, or you can get the same from the manufacturer's Web site.

    How can I restore my system XP to factory settings with on a boot disk? System Restore won't let me back to a date. I need to clean and start over with on a XP boot disk.

    You will need to go on the manufacturer of your pc and then ask for a windows xp disk and drivers. This will give you a new copy, but not out of the box state. For an out of the box, get a recovery disk. Just answer what you want.

  • Restore the Inspiron 910 to factory settings

    I recently bought a Dell Inspiron mini 910, but she did not have a system disk. I would like to restore settings this is the laptop. Can you help point me in the right direction please.

    I'm having a similar problem.  I had a Dell Inspiron 910 recently (by my in-laws) for my kids to use for school.  I can't get this 'thing' operational!  When I turn on the computer, it gives me 2 choices to start Windows XP.  They look identical, but if I chose the top start the computer to the top, but if I choose one 2nd I get an error message.  I can't figure out how to remove this version broken operating system.

    Then when I get the thing and to the main screen, I get a popup for Microsoft Security Essentials speaks of the end of support for my operating system.  After that, the computer seems to freeze most of the time.  When it does not continue to work, it takes a few minutes to process each order.

    I want to just restore the entire computer to factory settings and start over, but I don't know how.  I tried to run WINNT32.exe, but the computer said that it could not find it.  Help?

  • Recovering the system for HP Pavilion Slimline s3307c fails

    I recently bought the restore of the HP Pavilion Slimline s3307c disc because the hard drive recovery partition no longer works. I use the restore disc, the system recovery, said after the series of instruction to click Finish. When I cliquerai on complete, the system restarts, and it came to a point where I couldn't see any activity that happens in the computer except the icons two folder with the paper to the other folder.  I'm frustrated waiting for two hours with no idea of what happens, not even a bar of progress... Please help... what to do? I called HP support, the person on the phone is not helping at all and told me to help!

    Hello:

    Sometimes, this can take several hours to complete the recovery process.

    In addition, when you perform a system recovery, the only things that must be connected to the PC is the keyboard monitor and mouse.  Nothing else must be connected (printers, speakers, etc.).

    If the recovery discs fail to get the job done there is a procedure that you can use to install Vista on your PC if you can read all 25 characters of the product key windows on your PC case.

    Here is the info on how to do this if you want.

    If you are in a fault light but rewarding you can do yourself if you can read your product key of Vista on the PC of 25 characters.

    You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

    Do not take into account the part of the text in the first screen shot about "extract the files in the folder of Vista."

    The files were extracted already in this folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screenshot.

    The other thing I noticed is on the 4th page, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in me, and then other codes already filled in.

    When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

    I selected no, make the ISO file.

    It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

    I tested both of them on my hp dc7100 CMT PC desktop computer, they worked perfectly.

    When you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/software-OS/w/microsoft_os/3317.2-3-Microsoft-Windows-v...

    After you install Vista successfully, you can then install the drivers for your PC and driver page support.
