He'll T7200... on page 9 is the highest... You cannot change the fan or heater but cleaning and reapply the thermal paste will help to keep going. Also, do you think the MOD to put a dime US inbetween your graphics chips if you have one and the heat sink by putting thermal paste on graphics chips and on top of the tithe and sandwich inbetween the radiator for the graphics to help it eliminate the heat better. Also, which will extend the life of the computer. But given the age and life I think you should consider another computer just incase this one dies.

  • HP Pavilion DV6521ea processor upgrade

    Hello

I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV6521ea which is quite old now, but still serve me well.

I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade the Intel T7100 processor to an Intel T8300 or T9500.

I see that they all charge socket P and 800 mhz FSB.

Would it be compatible and it would make a big difference in processing power.  I want to use my laptop for video editing.

I can't seem to find information on my laptop computer motherboard (according to CPU - Z is a Quanta 30cc).

I also see that the Intel GM965 chipset has a PCI Express expansion slot.  Would it be to say that I could put a card in the laptop too?  At the moment it uses the graphics card intel integrated.

Thank you, I appreciate any help and advice.

    You are the very welcome.

If you install a 64-bit operating system, you should be able to use all 4 GB.

Your laptop can run 2 x 4 GB of PC2-5300/PC2-6400 memory, but these days it's too expensive to buy.

You can upgrade to W7 laptop.  I am running W7 x 64 on my dv6700.

Windows 8 could be a stretch.

No you can not go do not exchange the iNtel-AMD and iNtel. You can buy an iNtel i7 laptop to get a CPU iNtel. And do not upgrade AMD they are not worth upgrading.

  • HP pavilion dv6524ea processore upgrade

Hi, I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV6524ea that is quite old now, but still serve me well.

I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade the processor Intel T7100 to T7800 intel/T7600 or others.

Would it be compatible and it would make a big difference in processing power.

I can't seem to find information on my laptop computer motherboard (according to CPU - Z, it's a Quanta 30cc 79.2(e) BIOS l58).

I also see that the Intel GM965 chipset. At the moment it uses the graphics card intel integrated.

Thank you, I appreciate any help and advice.

You are limited to the same type of processor. In other words you can not install one of the latest i5 or i7 processors... the location is different. As a round square hole in peg has. However, there are significantly more rapid processors of the type that works... Core 2 Duo.

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

The faster original processor was this one:

    453771 001

Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor - 2.2 GHz (Merom-P, bus 800 MHz front end,)

    4 2 MB level cache, 35W)

    This update of the BIOS:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-58188-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=2100&product=3650965&sw_lang=

    These processors will allow:

    Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processor T8100, T8300, T9300 and T9500

    It is a T9500 for $65.

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/Intel-Core-2-Duo-T9500-2-60GHz-6MB-cache-800MHz-socket-P-SLAYX-CPU-5943-/390826606504?PT=CPUs&hash=item5aff14bfa8

The T9500 is quite a compatible processor clocked at 2.6 ghz with a L2 cache 6 meg. It would be a huge update of a T7100.

This isn't a job easy 10 minutes. The dv6500 series is very difficult to work on laptops go and if it's your first adventure upgraded the laptop I encourage you to find someone who has experience. The series AMD version is snakebit with problems, but the Intel versions (like yours) are good portable computers.

  • Pavilion A6130A processor upgrade?

    Hello

They gave me an A6130A of unwanted Pavilion.

I want to upgrade the processor of the default template and see on its technical specifications (http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01109618&lang=en&cc=u...) that its max listed is a core 2 E4300.

Now, I saw on the same sheet indicates that the max ram it takes is 2 gig, but as a test on my windows desktop 7, took out 2 x 2 giga ddr2 240 pin ram sticks and they slide in the A6130A and it started with happiness with the 4 GB of ram, no blue no screens no error message and the machine was lively and responsive.  Since I put the sticks in machine win 7 and hope the morning I can buy 4 GB of ram on my local PC vendor to it.

So this experience now made me question can I put an E4400, E4500 and E4600 processor E4700 in, now my bios is a problem of 5.13 and the highest bios listed on the support page of the HP driver is 5.12. This means not updated technical support information or I end up given a late edition model?

Since I made the recovery disc for the machine and transferred the original Vista that came with it on a 500gig sata drive and stuck in a pata of 250gig replacement drive had in the back of my wardrobe.

Once that I always update the ram and will pupate vista sp2, it will be quite a usable 2nd office, but if some saw an upgrade to the processor, it becomes quite a powerful machine.

Oh and on a foot note I got from eBay a gt8400 nividia used I think, well, it's a pcie 512 MB video card, once it's done I might see if I can ask the areo hack see there only Vista Home Basic.

Thanks in advance for your comments

If you want to go beyond recommended upgrade... Here are the list supported processors:

    http://Ark.Intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?series=27968

Current CPU have socket LGA775... check the PDT before upgrading...

most of the processors of the Core 2 Duo with the same socket family will work...

  • Pavilion dv6401ca: processor upgrade

My pavilion dv6401ca original installed celeron M520 1.6 GHz cpu.  I can it pass to T7600 core2duo T8300? I found the M520 is PPGA478 in the web site from outside, so do cpu T7600 and T8300 can also be installed in it?  If Yes, what should I do after the replaced cpu?

Another question is: is he would lower the effectiveness of the T8300 if I change the RAM to DDR2 PC2-5300 667 M Hz? The T8300 FSB is rated at 800 MHZ.

As you mentioned, the PC has 10 years and feedback technology was then more slowly compared to today's technology.

The DV series at the time was art of units of technology for this period, and was a fast PC.

When a motherboard or the PC is designed, all components such as curcuit page, fan, RAm, PCI cards, comonent holding components, display and thousands of other factors are taken into account. All of them are designed and ideal conditions value. For example, if you use a different processor to other components in the PC now has to help, even if the socket accepts the processor. Yes, the computer can work but not in his ideal State. The three best ways to attach the computer must have the max RAM capacity for computer, leave a free space of HARD/SSD drive and keep the virtual memory of automatic pagination or max.

If I were you, I would goahead and but a new computer which I consider as depreciation of 20% per year on a device of temperament and if I consider that 10 years, then the computer has is pretty good for my calculation. Again, this is my point of view.

  • HP Pavilion p6813w processor upgrade

I bought a new HP Pavilion p6813w refurbished (with a card mother Foxconn N-Alvorix-RS880-Μatx) and am disappointed by the performance of the stock processor, the best 95w I can find is a Phenom II x 4 960 t, but it is not listed as a taken processor supported, it will not work in my PC?

The kernel is not a Deneb, but I read that it is based on the x 6 Thuban core (which is supported by the mobo)

This is the original factory specifications for your desktop HP Pavilion p6813w. Based on this information, it seems that your HP p6813w uses the same card mother-N-Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix) which is in my desktop HP Pavilion p7-1026. My HP p7-1026 uses an HP AMD Phenom II X 4 840 T CPU factory installed and so your computer should support an AMD Phenom II x 4 960 t CPU since they are based on the same core Zosma (read 4 strands Thuban).
