Thank you

I bought it from a dealer called Siba (http://www.siba.no/) about 30 days ago.

I tried HP Vision diagnostic material and ran a test full of memo, - all past.

I tried to unplug the SATA cable smaller says BIOS on start up:

Intel UMDI, PXE-2.1 (build 083)
Copyright ~
Patents ~

Realtek PCIe Family Controller Series v2,38 (12/21/10)
PXE-E61: Media test failrue, chech cable

PCE-M8F: Exiting PXE BOM.

ERROR: No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed.

Is it necessary to run the BIOS memo test when HP Vision Hardware diagnosis spent in memo?

If yes how can I enter BIOS on the HP of the computer?

Also have a problem with a driver, I don't know if this has something to do with the blue screen.

Driver: IntelliPoint IntelliType NUID filter driver

EDIT: The blue screen appears 3 - 4 times a week, not as part of any other thing, as from a game, watch the video...

Thank you

Ok.

I, as a troubleshooting a week test, replace the keyboard and mouse wireless with a normal one usb port and remove the intellitype/intellipoint driver.

It is often better to use a tool of bluescreen friendly user more like WhoCrashed? to analyze blue screens.

Yes, I would still run the memory diagnostic. He has never hurt and it takes very little time.

Best regards

    Hello:

I can't find any specs on that you bought it from memory.

Your PC will run from 8 GB of memory, but you must be careful as to what memory you select.

You must get the PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) memory and it must be of low density.

You can't get PC3-10660 or PC3-10666 memory and cheap will be high density and will not work in any case in your laptop.

You can see this related posts with someone who had the same problem, and when he bought the good memory, his problem was gone.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/hardware-upgrades-replacements/dv6t-3000-RAM-upgrade/m-p/2492127#M17965

I think you bought PC3-12800 memory and this is probably the high density - two bad things.

  • HP Pavilion DM4 1160us - blue screen with rays of light from above

HP Pavilion DM4 1160us running Windows 7 Home Edition

I was logged off system and on the rear connection, slider received rotation that never finished, connect.  EU force power off.  (When you start the system, received option 1) attempt to recover or 2) start as usual (same results for both).  Seemed to start as normal - then a progress bar display "loading files" - followed by blue screen (and big arrow cursor) - quick flash of a (too fast to read) command window.  The hard drive activity light was on during a few seconds, the flicker for several times, then went.  Nothing would happen ever after that it and the blue screen remained.

I also ran well to launch HD diagnostic tests - he failed the extended test.  I removed the original drive Toshiba MK5056GSY and replaced by a 32 GB drive my old Dell Inspiron came with, run installation of a new operating system and the HP boot works fine (less the HP drivers).

I have not yet tested the "faulty" drive but will be when I get an external hard drive case.  It lasted exactly 3 years.

I would replace the drive with a WD7500BPKT drive that is 750 GB.

My question is ' the computer/motherboard/BIOS Board will manage the bigger drive?

A 750 GB hard drive should work fine.

  • HP Pavilion dv6-1277el blue screen and disk hard error 303

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1277el with Windows 7 installed. For some time the laptop crashed several times with blue screens until one day windows no longer starts or is is stuck on the loading screen.

I used an Ubuntu live CD to backup data to the HARD drive of the laptop on an external drive, but after that transfer a large amount of data that I received a warning ON impending drive failure due to reassign areas.

Restarting the laptop I received the following message from the HP auto test:

    Hard drive 1 fast (303)
    Hard drive 1 full (305)

The strange thing is that, after the first time that I had these messages, Windows rebooted to work without any problem and I've never had any blue screen again.

What should I do? Anyway to change my HARD drive or her trust?

    Thank you

    Hello new solvayhütte.

Probably, he continues to work because it detects a problem with the drive.  However, the reader may not be totally dead immediately.  So now is the time to get ALL the data that you want out of the disc before it goes bad.

You have two options currently.  You can replace the drive hard yourself (it is not difficult) or contact HP for a repair.

To replace the drive hard yourself, you can use your notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide for instructions on disassembly of the laptop.  There are also specifications stating the hard drive inside your laptop.  Use this information to buy a new hard drive and compatiable.

If you do not want to replace the drive yourself, you can contact HP and inquire about a repair.  If you are within the United States or the Canada you can call to the 1-800-474-6836.  However, if you are outside this area, you will need to go to the HP support site for the contact information for your region.

I hope that this information has been useful.  Have a great day!

    Thank you.

    Hi @kulasekara ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your issues of 15-n236tu HP Pavilion Notebook and to have with a BSOD IRQL Driver error NOT LESS or EQUAL of tcpip.sys on Windows 8.

Usually BSOD, they are caused mainly by 3 antivirus firewall conflicts based on. Have you installed new software on the laptop?

You can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop.

When running a system restore note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thank you.

  • Pavilion dm4t laptop: Blue Screen of Death

Error blue screen says that attempt to reset display drivers and recover from timeout failed. It is said to disable memory options such as caching or shadowing the BIOS.

Occasionally, I get the blue screen when I try to open jpeg files that are on my hard drive.  This started to happen when I went bact to Windows 7 from Windows 10.  My external monitor did not work when it is connected to the USB port replicator docking station.  It is not recognized.  I have to connect it directly to the port on the computer.  I don't know that these questions are related.  I copied the text of the blue full screen if it would help.

I reinstalled several system updates on the HP download site, but I still get the blue screen.

I ran the Advanced HP 4.2.5.0 System Diagnostics and passed all the tests.  However, I could not update the BIOS.  I have a BIOS date 21/01/2013 F.0C REV.

When I restart the computer in normal mode of Windows everything works... for a while.

  • Pavilion HPE H8-1121: Pavilion HPE H8-1121 - new graphics card + power supply does not start after screen HP (Revisited)

I have the same problem as this post 2013!  Ouch. Pavilion HPE H8-1121 - new map chart + power supply, does not start after HP screen.

I installed a new power supply (Seasonic 620W), which works well.  I also installed a GTX 660Ti last year and it was works fine as well.  I recently bought a ZOTAC GTX 970 and attempted to install it, but it will not go beyond the blue HP screen and I get the same code of beeps (1 long, 3 short), who, seems, suggests that the video is not initialized.

    My BIOS date is 2011.

Where can I find an update for this?

I'm also using Windows 10, which I found on the HP site is not tested on my model and would probably not favourable to good use.  Should I do back up to 7 or 8?  and then update the BIOS?  Y at - it a update for my BIOS and where can I find.

In any case, I hope that this is a solution.  Again, this is not a bad machine to be 5 years old.

    Thanks for any help!

If the video card that you have purchased dose not a legacy vBIOS it will never start. An update of the BIOS doesn't solve that.

It is likely that your new video card has a vBIOS UEFI and that only is for the PC motherboards newer than yours which have a UEFI BIOS. Your motherboard has a legacy BIOS. 2012 is the year of model when the UEFI BIOS more or less became the de facto on motherboards standard.

I return it for a refund. Find the candidate of video cards that support the old BIOS. It can be inherited only or switchable vBIOS (legacy or UEFI) vBIOS.  I suggest looking at the site of Sapphire Technology. ZoTac is not known to provide enough information about their video cards in the way. You upgrade a pre-built desktop PC and it's different and a little more difficult to set up a DIY PC. I looked at the site of Zotac and see that nothing is said about their video vBIOS cards.  I would return to the map.  Carefully read the specifications of the video card. A candidate for your motherboard card must have inherited vBIOS support or simply, it won't work.

ZOTAC (they don't say anything about their product vBIOS)

Because you look at game with 4 GB cards. Take a look at the following map. It has a double vBIOS. legacy and UEFI. http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?pid=640A98CD-0CF0-4191-B75C-CA2800111ADB&lang=eng

Try another monitor and cable on your PC in order to eliminate the PC as possible problem. You can also try your monitor and cable on another PC.

The RAM is not compatible. The system allows a maximum total memory of 8 GB and uses DDR3-1333 which downclocks at 1066 speed. You cannot use a single module of 8 GB. 4 gigs is the large single module supports the system. I suspect the memory that you have will work fine if you had modules of 2 x 4 GB instead of a single module of 8 GB. That's why memtest is not finished. The controller memory motherboard is not able to take up 8 GB of RAM by a single channel.
