  Hello.

  After replacing the batery, I got a black screen. But I discovered that the cable from the monitor was not completely connected after that I moved the PC and the monitor. Once I fixed and restarted the PC, keyboard and mouse are animated.  I'm currently running System Recovery.

  I'm trying to restore BKF files created by NTBackup.exe after the crash of a hard drive running XP Pro. The new hard drive is the same brand (WD) goes into the same computer Dell Inspiron and the same OS. No catalog file is available and trying to recreate the NTBackup recovery gives an error message.  No catalog cannot be created for many, but not all of my backup BKF files.

  I do not consider the solution of SysTools $89 for a large part of the answer. This problem is not uncommon and I hope MS has or can tell me a free tool to allow me to restore from any of my BKF.

  Once you have removed the uninstall folders/files, then go to control panel, add/remove programs. Select the title of the corresponding Windows fix on the folder/file of the patch you just deleted, and select Delete. You will get a Windows error.   My question concerns the program backup and restore in Windows 7. I use an external hard drive to save the backup of my sysem files (using the Windows settings recommended in the program). If the backup seems to be working - I get no error message, more disk space is taken up on my external hard drive and the program says that the backup is complete - I have noticed that the created file (that I could be my system restore of) is indicated as 0 bytes in size.  My hunch is that this file is not a backup properly created, or else it would show a real file size. This could be the cause of this problem? If it is relevant, I use a HP G60 laptop. Any info on this would be appreciated. I just want to ensure that I have a backup properly created of my files.

  While it is a good idea to check your backup job, your method is likely to lead astray you. The Windows 7 backup process creates a number of files and folders on your backup media, which are largely hidden from view. To confirm that your backup was successful you should restore examples of files to a different location where used to reside. This will really tell you if you could restore the files in a crisis.

  My Windows 8 HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14 Sleekbook stopped starting a few months ago usually (refresh and repair do not work) and I am now trying to see if I can get some files of it.  I've sailed to the HP Recovery Manager and started backing up files using the user's selection, but I don't see one of my old files.  Does that mean these files are definitely missing, and I can move on with my life?  Or is there still hope and sustained misery...

  HP Recovery Manager, which may have the option to save your files before a recovery to factory settings, is part of Recovery, not Microsoft the HP process.

  When I realized that my Windows 7 was not updated as usual on my Pavilion P6-2100, I found that at least one of the files associated with the software update was missing in the area of abuse.  I was going to do a refresh of the system and then found that the recovery files in drive d: had been erased.  Googling the problem indicated that the problem was caused by a virus.  It seems to have other problems, except that Windows 7 is not updated.  (I hope that's the only problem).  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Since upgradingg to Windows 10 my printer works, but I can't get the function of scan to post a link to the PC, can you provide any help with this.

  Sometimes I have the same printer. I fell on the same subject. The new driver, which is available at Hp seems to have solved the problem I had.  Here's what I just did.

  (1) uninstall the printer from the printers and devices.

  (2) download the following driver.

  3) double-click the downloaded installation file.

  (4) follow the prompts.  I chose a wireless installation.

  Once you select the printer such as requested by the installation software as seen in the image, click Next.

  

  

  

  Use the HP Print Wizard to manage scanning. He wil have been installed by the HP printer installation software. Use the search box in Winfdows 10 to find or use the apps icon everything.

  This can be delicate process, what I said, you must have is prior to this problem was to make the recovery media, but if not you must reorganize again thanks to HP when you restore to installed at the plant everything should be in working condition. Since you are using your own Windows 7 it must match the factory installed o/s otherwise the product key will not work and you must use the product key that came with Windows 7 using your and given that you have downloaded Windows 7 since we have no idea of what the factory o/s version has been compared to the version that you obtained. If you need to match the downloaded Windows 7 to Windows 7 factory so that your product key for work and I doubt that the site you downloaded since except if it's the same o/s, corresponding to the installation of the factory will not work. This means that you must buy a new product key for Microsoft in order to activiate you Windows 7 you downloaded.

I tried to remove the base backup, since it was listed in "show all the backups" on the "local" drive However, it still appears in 'show all the backups' - in the local drive.  I see now that I actually deleted the 'base' on the USB. I see no way to delete the backups in the local drive. How can I delete the backups to the local disk?

  RNR does support only 1 location of target, in your case, local backup or USB.

  If you change the location to the USB, it will ask "delete backups on Local.  If you say no, it will keep local backups and start on USB. View backups should ONLY list target current place of residence.  In your case, USB.  You said delete Basic, yes he deleted based on USB.

  Go to the RNR, menu, advanced and post a screenshot of the view backups.  Do not use the main pane.

  (1) change the local location.  You can remove LOCAL.  Then replace location USB.

  (2) uninstall the RNR.  This will remove \RRbackups on drive C.  Replace.

  The main panel (simple opinion) may use registry values to list all backups while the Advanced menu should list ONLY the target location.

  The installed graphics card is the best available option Optional graphics package.  To the best of my knowledge HP has not supported better than what you have.

  I suspect it's the button broke off his mount. It's just a piston. The actual switch is lower. You need to remove the real top panel to decide the issue. Here's a guide. See p 2 and 3. After removing the side panel and the front panel, you should see the screws in the top panel. You might be able to fix it to the mount.
