  I hope someone can help me with my situation of laptop. Its a laptop of Lenovo Yoga (ideapad) 900-13ISK, I got it for 3 months. I tried to restart it and no response. for long trying to stop him (this works on my Lenovo thinkpad to work) and still no response. Its now been almost 48 hours, the power light is still on and the machine does not start.

  I just wanted to share that I found a solution this morning.

  I just pressed fn + f2 + power at the same time button and the machine exploded in the second. When I rebooted the machine continued as usual (surprise after 4 days on this subject still had battery).

  Wanted to post incase someone is searching for this solution in the future...

  My Toshiba Qosmio f15-av201 does not turn when you push the power button, even if the lights of ac adapter & battery are both on (on).   Have you thought to make changes to the computer before this problem?

  This happens usually if you have activated the keys of mouse under keyboard settings.

  Follow the steps below and let us know if that fixes the problem:

  1. Click Start
  2. Select Control Panel
  3. Go to ease of access
  4. Select the ease of access Center
  5. Click on "Change how your keyboard works"
  6. Under the control of the mouse with the keyboard, uncheck "turn on mouse keys"
  7. Click OK

  Your device certainly has an IrDA port, and it should work properly. I put t know which IrDA light you mean, because there's no lights for IrDA. Always for wireless LAN and is not the same!
  AFAIK, you can enable the IrDA feature in Control Panel. In this case, please check if this option is enabled.
  In addition the IrDA port is placed on the front side of the laptop.

• Laptop computer G60 does not start

  I'm having some trouble starting by G60 Notebook.  The system runs Windows 7, but since it does not start I don't know if the system is a 32-bit or a 64-bit.  What seems to be the case, it's that he's trying to start and simply itself turns off.  For this, this little trick after having tried to boot Windows "normally".   I ran the diagnostic tests for memory and disk and both indicate that memory and disk are in agreement.

  You can also try booting in safe mode. Enter SafeMode (Windows 7)

  Select repair your computer.

  If the problem still persists repeat the process above, but select Safe mode with command prompt and follow the instructions to open the system recovery options.

  Again choose command line

  Enter the following information to the /rebuildbcd bootrec command prompt and press ENTER.

  Once this completed successfully try to start Windows normally.

  There is no available free and legal Vista download

  Here are the different ways to reinstall vista:

  Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

  they do it for a nominal cost of $

  also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

  you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

  Ask them of the exact key sequence

  or borrow a microsoft dvd vista

  Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

  they contain all versions of vista

  This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  My grandparents bought a HP Slimline 400-034 from Bestbuy (refurb, sigh), or all of a sudden only put up now after he have 4 months. When I plug the power to the PSU cables, the led is green. When I hit the power button, the CPU fan turns quickly, but the computer will not feed.

  I am quite sure that the power supply is good because it has the green light to the rear, and the CPU fan turns briefly. I unplugged the CD-ROM and USB ports in the front to reduce the load of power, but it will still be running. Is the Mobo that made, or is there something else I can try?
