HP Pavilion m6 random Gray lines at startup

My HP Pavilion notebook m6 just randomly started appearing grey lines on different sections of the screen during startup. Usually, it also causes the laptop to close. I tried to tilt the screen back to see if it was a connection to the screen, but it changed nothing. Plug the charger is the entire screen have gray lines when starting. I mean by gray lines, it is almost as if you unplug the cable from the TV. Some lines are just randomly and staticy yellow and black type. When the laptop starts up and gets past the login screen is not do.

Any help as to why he does this?

Well, I sat for an hour after struggling to understand the problem...

Sometimes if you held the power button down it would be arrives at start of Windows then going crazy, went from a gray staticy flicker to blue to red, etc., then turns off. I took out battery, hold the power button for 1 minute to get rid of all the energy stored, deleted RAM memory and reinstalled everything.

Oddly enough, the computer starts fine in mode safe mode, but not in the regular windows all the time.

Has finally got to start Windows, travelled the HP support site and did an audit and found updates the BIOS was one of them. Updated it restarts fine now. Will post if anything that acts to the top once again!

  • Gray lines at random in the text placed

    Hello

    I'm working on placing a word of a manuscript document in InDesign CC. I spent hours and hours to get the text document formatted just right so that I could just place without having to do much else. To my dismay, some of the poems that I place make their appearance with random gray lines interspersed in the text box. More troubling still, when I export to PDF, the lines are flat black. How can I get rid of these? If there is a way to do this effectively without having to modify the original text document in InDesign, it would be ideal. Fixing of the screenshots below. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Those look like paragraph nets (rule below, in this case), and you have obviously some empty paragraphs used to add space instead of use the space before or after the space to spread the paragraphs apart.

    You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

    I'm sorry to learn that when you scan from your ADF file, you see a line on your document. This is usually fixed by clean under the scanner, however there could be other causes. My hp 2001xi all-in-one psc began to print vertical gray lines on all the text and images on the test document in the problem-solving programs.  I asked troubleshooting this site to uninstall/reinstall it from this site which it has fact/could not, sayiny do my control panel, which is now no longer present the program of hp, or my research could find it.  I am running Windows 8.1 on my ASUS laptop.

    HP Print and Scan Doctor can't find anything wrong.

    Thank you for the information about the printer to uninstall for Windows 8.

    The problem of the gray line seems to be now disappeared after a very simple remedy...

    1. disconnect the USB and power cord

    2. plug in USB and power cord

    Tah dah!  Printer's original, more grey lines!

    I got this tip on the site, although the "vertical" illustrate and described were quite different than what mine were.

    Now, if I will be memorized for future reference, as I remember that this remedy has worked for other issues in the past.

    Thanks for the support.  April

    bbjae, it looks like there may be a residual electric charge accumulated in the unit.  When was the last time you did a Hard Reset on this unit?

    Hard Reset:

    * Unplug the unit while the printer is on

    Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly

    * Wait 30 seconds

    * Plug power back in and make sure that the device is running

    Just some thoughts...

    (1) the corruption can develop when downloading
    photos via the USB port after a long when photo shoot
    for Camera batteries are low.

    (2) you have a bad USB cable or port.

    (3) If you have an internal drive or external...
    try to insert the memory card and download it from

  • gray line after each line of list field

    Hi friends,

    I would like to draw a gray line after each line of listField I use folowing d

    graphics.setColor (Color.LIGHTGREY);

    graphics.drawLine (0, y, Graphics.getScreenWidth (), y);

    then the line is gray (the color of the text)

    then as the then-jeutiliser

    graphics.setColor (Color.LIGHTGREY);

    graphics.drawLine (0, y, Graphics.getScreenWidth (), y);

    graphics.setColor (Color.BLACK);

    It works, but, more early when the update comes to rowing of the color of the text will change to white but now always the text is black

    So, how can I draw a gray line after each listfield rw without affecting the texts

    You must save the original color and reset it after drawing like that.

    int origcolor = graphics.getColor();

    graphics.setColor(Color.LIGHTGREY);
    graphics.drawLine(0,y,Graphics.getScreenWidth(),y);

    graphics.setColor(origcolor);

  • Gray lines. Viewport problem?

    Hey guys, I need a little help here. Here is what happens:

    I create small websites using photoshop. I'm doing slices and then "export for the web." Once I saved the page in slices as html, as well as a folder of images, I then open Dream Weaver and start to do it how I want. But here's my problem. When I do a 2nd mobilesite, using the same slice of photoshop, I find that I get these little gray lines on the edges of my text. The display code has something to do with it? Is there a way to tell him to just resize to any phone? Window display set to 480 and everything looks good on her still but when I create a text box, it puts these small gray lines.IMG_4317.jpg

    Sorry to burst your bubble.  PS excels in graphics and special effects of edition, but it's totally lame as a generator of HTML code.   Doesn't build your web pages with Photoshop.  A dedicated web authoring tool to create your HTML & CSS code.  PS to use for images only.  And you can forget a little slices of the image.  We rarely or never use them more.

    If the code is not your thing, Dreamweaver is not the right tool for you.

    Place you in Adobe Muse.

  • What are these gray lines around my text and paths?

    Hi Adobe community!

    This is my first post so please excuse any forum fopahs I do.

    I spent all day doing these small vector graphics for a presentation to come and just as I wrap me I started having a weird error in Illustrator. All the arrows radiating from the light bulb icon and text have a gray line, but I don't actually have a stroke applied. What happens here? Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Ryan

    If the elements with the extra loop are grouped, verify the appearance for the Group; a stroke can be applied here and not on individual objects.

  • Mysterious gray lines on my bosses

    Screen Shot 2015-01-01 at 7.32.51 PM.pngWell, then, I'm pretty new to illustrator you can all forgive my ignorance. I created the template that I showed you in the picture and when I'm working on the model of these gray lines do not appear, but then once I got back and fill a rectangle with my boss, these gray lines appear always on top. I noticed that they change depending on how to organize my boss. (by the grid, in hexadecimal, etc.). I tried to adjust the leaders. The most frustrating thing of all is that they appear when I export the image. Help, please! Thank you!

    Turn off "Smoothing" in preferences to check if the lines are gone then.

    If they are, it's just a problem of screen refresh.

    When you export in frame-based formats, select mode 'Art optimized'.

  • Encoding DVD timeline PP (CC2014) creating random flashing lines

    Hello

    I have problems of encoding to MPEG2-DVD to a fitting first Pro CC2014 files...

    It is a sequence of 1080p25 about 25 minutes of time, and I'm using a custom preset output a 2-pass VBR about 7mbps. Excerpts from the timeline have not been made (yellow bars).

    The encoding is going very well, but the output files contain random fine lines (1 pixel wide?), flashing intermittently until.

    However, if I exit a master file (Sony XDCAM EX Quicktime) and encode using the same DVD preset, I have no problems...

    Work on a new Mac Pro (2013), with all current updates.

    I hope someone can enlighten us...

    Thanks in advance.

    OK, an update...

    It seems that I still have the flashing lines with the encoded Quicktime master file. So I changed the settings of the sequence to the ProRes 422 format, rendered previews to the highest quality, and which seems to have fixed the issues encodes.

    Weird.
