I can start Windows in safe mode only. I try to start recovery manager (HP and Windows), both not working. I see: Recovery Manager hp stopped work. I try chkdsk from command prompt, it did not help me. D: partition is normally. 2 times I can open windows is normal, but then nothing does not, only I see my old office. • r014tx Notebook PC: activate windows 8.1 without recovery

How to activate windows 8.1 without recovery on r014-tx?

Unfortunately, there is no other non-destructive method I know except go to programs and features and the removal of the Windows updates at the start date of the activation problem. Maybe it's worth a try. It takes a lot of time, but can solve the problem.

If the data on the disk is important to you, then you will need to copy it to an external storage medium before doing anything else.

  • Windows Asus rt without recovery partition

    Hello

I guess when things don't work the way they are supposed to work. Please write us with the following details.

Windows is already installed on your computer when you bought it?

If your computer was pre-installed with Windows then I suggest you to communicate with them once more, like Asus is supposed to provide you with an installation disc in Windows and then using that you can perform other recovery options. You can contact them on the link below.

  • error recovery Windows returns constantly to the start without reason...

Hi I recently got windows 7 Professional 64-bit my Thursday school last burn on a dvd. Everything seemed fine after installation, and such as Saturday when he starts in front of the screen of bio and then pop up with error recovery windows telling me that windows wasn't one to repair or start normally anyway would it continue to go to this windows error recovery screen bit whatever I chose. These events eventually led me to believe that my hard drive has failed in which I had a brand new only on Sunday and installed fine all appeared while Monday morning he started to blow upward with the same error message I could try the repairs say it was very good, try and boot and it would restart again. Fortunately I was able to install my Vista Edition home premium 64-bit, which seemed to be ok for most of the day until yesterday when it grew up the windows on error with the options to use the last configuration or start normally (due to the recent hardware or software changes, but I have not install anything new in terms of software or hardware) that works , but im not sure for how long. Im very tech savvy for my age and know what im doing with computers, but I can't seem to understand what is happening since it is a new player none of my hardware is a failure and I don't know.
    Appreciate any help...
    Colin

Repair system solves most of the start-up problems.  Some computers have startup repair pre-installed otherwise you will need a CD/DVD of Windows Vista.   If your system still does not boot in Windows, follow these steps to repair the boot sector.

I am new to this problem
So please if you know how to do
Note please the specific details to show me how to

    Thank you!

    Hello!

First of all, you should check the user manual. There you can find all the details on how to recover a Toshiba laptop.

In any case, if your laptop came without recovery disk you can create one using the Toshiba recovery disc creator. That's why you need one or two DVDs and then you have factory on a DVD.
If you created the recovery disk, you can boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen. Windows will be reinstalled, and you get back to factory settings.

But you can also recovery a Toshiba laptop without recovery disk. So go to the F8 advanced boot menu and choose fix my computer. Now, you can choose the Toshiba Recovery option and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you have any other questions, you can search a bit in the forum. You will find a sufficient number of threads on the recovery procedure.
In addition, you must check this document:

  • Win7 recovery without recovery disks

Being a little crazy I ignored the guests to "make the backup disks.

Ive deleted the original installation of windows 7 for windows 8, but after finding problems with some games of win8 I wish I could put win7 on it

My hard drive still has the recovery partition, but by pressing f11 at the bios screen does nothing

is there anyway to recover my pc to the original without recovery disks configuration?

    Hello:

If you are not willing or able to purchase recovery discs, you can reinstall windows 7 using this method, as long as you can read your 25-character windows product key 7:

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

    (Moved to repair and recovery)

You do not have a format to get rid of your data.

You do a format when you want to do a clean install of the operating system.

As you all saved, I suggest that you continue on the new facility, then copy your data back.

  • Vista format without recovery discs...

    Hello
My problem is that I bought my laptop with windows vista in 2008, then I upgraded to premium windows 7 and now I've lost my recovery disc for windows vista. I want to reformat my laptop, this is it possible without recovery disc for windows vista? what I did last time was to reinstall vista and update again to windows 7.
will it work if I only use the disc of windows 7 recovery or what I need to get vista recovery cd?
    Thanks for your replies!

Download a copy of Windows Vista from the following link:

Windows Vista (in English) with Service Pack 1

    Windows Vista (x 86)       Windows Vista (x 64)
    X 14 - 63452.exe X 14 - 63453.exe
    Boot.wim Boot.wim
    install.wim install.wim

    *****

    Extract the installation files

You must download the .exe, the boot.wim and install.wim file in the same place. Run the .exe file and it will extract all the files in a folder called Vista. The Windows Installer will start (close the installation program).

    Creating a USB bootable (directly)

Download NovaCorp WinToFlash (use the download links to their FTP servers and avoid the FindMySoft download link).

Insert a 8-16 GB USB flash drive (USB FlashDrive recommendations, see here).

Open the compressed folder of Novicorp WinToFlash 0.7.0048 beta

Start the Windows Setup Transfer Wizard

    Click on Next

Select that you are the Vista folder where the installation files extracted.

Read and agree with the license and then press to continue:

    Select continue to the warning.

It will start to copy the files

When it gets to 100%, press next and then finish:

    Create a .iso file

To create a .iso bootable extracted the files in the folder of Vista and download Imgburn. Run imgburn and select 'Create Image file from files/folders'

Select the record button browse and select the folder of Vista. Then select Advanced.

Left will be your folder of Vista, to the right, make sure that you have verified make Bootable Image, changed the developer ID: Microsoft Corporation, load segment: 07C 0 and loading areas: 4.

Select the folder browse button then navigate to your folder of Vista, then select the startup folder and select the file called etfsboot.

    Select the generate button.

    Save your .iso

Select Yes when the prompt for the Volume name, and select ok. Finally, wait for it to make the .iso file.

    Burn the. ISO file:

ImgBurn - supporting the creation of CD more. ISO files,
It supports a wide range of image file formats, and it's free.
(BIN, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, MDS, NRG, PDI and ISO)

Note: Use always slower burning (4 x or 2 x) speed is offered a choice.

  • Can I restore my OptiPlex 360 settings without reinstalling Windows?

I have an OptiPlex 360 running Windows 8.1. I'm not the original owner, and the previous owner has left a top Windows password. Is there a way to bypass the password without reinstalling Windows?

    I tried the following:

    • Shift + reboot: all the useful options on this screen requires either a password or a reinstallation of Windows. I don't have an installation or a recovery disk, but I can get one if necessary.
    • F2/F12 during startup: I have not found all the options to restore the factory settings.
    • Installation of Windows 10: I tried to burn the disk Windows 10 for a DVD image file and start from that, but I didn't get the error message "boot device available."

Factory settings can be restored in the Dell boot menu, or should I ask this at Microsoft Support Forum? Do I need a recovery disk?

    Thanks in advance.

The OptiPlex 360 has not supplied with Windows 8.1, it had to be a level of detail. You will need to clean Windows Installer, but given the fact that you don't have the Windows 8.1 key detail you can't simply clean reinstall Windows 8.1.

If you can get the Windows 10 Insider 10130 .iso image file, you can use this upgrade:

    Hello

I bought this laptop HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p189sa with little window 8.1 64.

I didn't know the poor performance and 8.1 window issues.

Although I tried this OS, I want to downgrade to a reliable operating system and best quality.

    Why change?

-L' network wifi icon is not working properly, when I change the network disables it in itsalf and it is impossible to solve it it then I have to restart the laptop.

    -L'interface is orrible

-Sometimes the phone takes hours before turning off or I never turn off

It is longer so the reasons why I want to change this OS not usable and hostile.

The downgrade problem is drivers that are not available on the hp Web site.

Can I use the drivers wind8 for wind7?

Maybe a program can adapt to drivers for wind7?

I am not able to develop pilots by myself so what do you suggest?

    Hi Paul,.

I installed the Realtak you gave me and Bluetooth works properly now.

Just to let you know that the Synaptics on the repo of hp drivers cause a crash on wind7. I used the drivers on their site here .

The laptop looks good for today, I'll do some tests of regression during these days.

Thank you Paul for you support.
