HP Pavilion Notebook Gaming -: out of game keyboard

HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook - 15-ak112nl (ENERGY STAR)

Hello world

I bought this laptop from game to play easy passing a few fps game (Unreal Tournament)

Well well... the built-in keyboard stops working for a few seconds of randomly!

This problem is circumvented playng with a usb keyboard, not at ease, I'm very disappointed with the absolute lack of assistance, seems that there are no solutions.

What a cell phone game... shame.

Hello

The only option I see and that may be worth trying is to make sure that you are running the latest version of the bios ( F.82 Rev.A ) she mentions "fix a problem with the W, A & D keys - see the cva on the following link.

http://FTP.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp77001-77500/sp77359.CVA

You can check the version of the current bios of notebooks by holding down the fn key and pressing esc.

If you are running a previous revision, F.82 Rev.A can be found on the following link.

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp77001-77500/sp77359.exe

If you are already using this bios, or it is not correct the problem, my best advice would be to contact HP about this if the machine is still under warranty - if necessary, you can check the status of your warranty here.

Contact HP starting here.

Kind regards

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download the Realtek Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp73001-73500/sp73189.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R.

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

In the Device Manager window, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72501-73000/sp72862.exe

After reinstalling, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right-click on the setup of Realtek Audio and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, restart the laptop again and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

I was curious office depot on this desktop computer and I was told the oveheats cell phone when an external monitor is hooked up to it and I was wondering why there is a vga first port if that's the question

    Hello

There are few things that I would like to say:

    1. the machine doesn't have a VGA port. There

    • 2 superSpeed USB 3.0
    • 1 universal serial (USB) 2.0 bus
    1 HDMI
    • 1 RJ-45 (LAN)
    • 1 plug headphone-out/microphone-in the drop-down list

The HDMI port is to connect to an external monitor pre BIGfor you to enjoy games if you wish.

2 right, I connect to external monitors almost all of my laptops.

Is there any solution to this? his v19.0.12.97 of Synaptics Pointing Device running

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I tried the following on a machine not that different to yours and it seems to work.

First, download the Synaptics driver on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63001-63500/sp63417.exe

Disable your wireless card (should be f12).

Open Control Panel, open programs and features, right click on the Synaptics driver and select uninstall.

When you are done, reboot the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder and launch the installer of Synaptics - when this is complete, restart the computer again.

Open the Synaptics settings panel, disable SmartSense, then check if the touchpad works now with a key on the keyboard is pressed.

If so, turn on your wireless card and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the Synaptics driver.

  • HP Pavilion notebook f114dx 17: integrated or shared video card

I use a software house and landscape on my new HP Pavilion Notebook.  Often, it seems to freeze so I called the software company to find out what could be the cause.  They told me this: their program uses a dedicated video card.  If my laptop (notebook) integrated or shared video cards their software will freeze.

How can I know what are the video card in my laptop?  I have read the data sheet on my laptop that I just bought 07/01/2015 and I'm not see (or understanding) what graphics cards are in my laptop.  I have also bought/downloaded software house/landscape the same day.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hey @brop ,

Thanks for responding to me. I see that the software is 3D which might have some concerns about the graphic or video card. You must ask the Punch! Home & Landscape Design 17.7 support if you can lower the graphics on this software to low or medium. You laptop has Intel HD 4400 graphics card with up to 1792 MB total graphics memory. Here's a document on improving your system. Closing off Live tiles on the desktop will help performance. As closing any open programs you don't use.

You can watch this third party site which helped to speed up performance.   Please read this before you start.

    Please let me know.

    Thank you.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-f250: new SSD not recognized, Pavilion 17 AMD drivers

    Hello

I bought the laptop (HP Pavilion Notebook 17-f250) on September 2015 and this September 2016, I decided to upgrade with a 2nd SSD.

I bought a caddy, placed my SAMSUNG EVO 850 PRO inside, removed the optical drive and then place the CART inside the laptop. It fit perfectly, no problem there.

But Windows does not recognize it at all in MANAGEMENT OF DISKS.

It is not here in order to format it, etc...

My IDE/SATA appears as "AMD SATA CONTROLLER".

I can not find anywhere no possibility of enablev AHCI etc... My BIOS is not an option to check if the AHCI drivers are enabled or not.

With the AUTOMATIC DETECTION is my driver: AMD APU A4-6210 with graphics AMD RADEON R3.

My operating system is WINDOWS 10.

FYI, I bought another same SSD for my office and worked smoothly. I only have a problem with my laptop, and I can't figure out how to recognize the Windows SSD!

    BR,

    Dionisis

What caddy you bought? There are a lot of these on the market and some are not made with the highest quality control. You may have it tested with another hard drive?

Second, the interface for the optical drive is SATA which is ahci. The drivers are not the issue.

Finally, put an SSD in an optical drive is a little excessive spending from one optical drive interface is slower, so the speed of SSDS is wasted. It would be much better to put a regular hard drive large, slow in the optical Bay for storage. Having an SSD in there won't be fast in all directions. Also, a disc in an optical Bay will not be initiated.

So please can you me another way to permanently disable it please?

    Thank you

PS: the system is: HP Pavilion Notebook - 17 t-g100 CTO

The solutions here worked for me. I had to get hp tech and he went in regedit settings and that fixed it. He changed the value from 1 to 0.

in run box, type: regedit - click software - then go down to Synaptics - then SYNTP - then click on the touchpad.

Right-click ISFORCEPAD, and then set the value to 0.

Everything is done and no more touchpad unless I want to enable it.

Touchpad is no longer active EVEN AFTER RESTART!
