HP Pavilion Notebook n271ea 15: 15-n271ea-HP Pavilion Notebook PC - peripheral unknown

Hello

Using a HP Pavilion n271ea-15 Notebook (British model).

I just did a clean install of Windows 10 (1511 version, OS Build 10586.494) as well as all Windows updates. I am currently showing an unknown device in Device Manager and do not know what driver to install. It shows the location as:

System compatible ACPI Microsoft

Code 28.

I found the list of possible drivers, but I was wondering if you could advise which one of the following should I install:

http://support.HP.com/GB-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-15-N200-notebook-PC-series/6529948/model...

Would be very grateful for any help you might be able to offer.

The identification of material information is as follows:

ACPI\VEN_ASD & DEV_0001

ACPI\ASD0001

* ASD0001

Please let me know if there is any more information you need.

Thank you very much

Lee

    Hey everybody,

I use Hp Pavilion laptop g6 with 4 GB of ram and windows 8.1 64-bit.

Recently, there was an update for my system, after the update, I noticed 2 unknown devices. Here is the image:

Can someone tell me what are these devices and how to upgrade.

Wil be waiting for the answer.

    Kind regards
    MNUH.

    You are the very welcome.

There is nothing that needs to be done.

I realize that this is a first for the devices is displayed here when the drivers are installed, but I guess that's where Microsoft has decided to classify them.

Normally, when a device lands in the other devices section (including the unknown devices), this means they need a driver installed.

But you can confirm that they need a driver installed because under properties, he never says the device works normally, as evidenced by these two.

Normally, it indicates that no drivers are installed for this device, or the device may not start, or words to that effect.

I guess HP has an error on the product, because it doesn't show Bluetooth beside the specification of wireless connectivity.

You don't need to worry about the EEG W10 icon.

You can download W10 directly from Microsoft.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows10

Download the 64-bit installation program and do the immediate upgrade option.

Then you can go back and make the W10 DVD or USB flash drive.

I'm not very confident that your laptop can run W10.

Most likely, audio, graphics and without wire do not work and there is no drivers to make them work.

But you can give it a shot and see what happens.

  • Pavilion g6-2230tx peripheral pci laptop

    Hello world

I'm new to this forum. I bought Pavilion g6-2230tx a few months back and installed Windows 7 professional 64-bit. But the problem I am facing from day one, is that I cannot use one of my three USB ports. Also my Sd Card Reader behaves erratically; When he reads the cards occasionally. When I'm checking my Device Manager Windows it shows also that 1) 3) USB controller re and 2) PCI device Ethernet controller does not properly (exclamation point in a yellow box).

For knowledge of all I have to say that my pc came with BACK as operating system so that I can have both hands free to install any OS on my condition.

If anyone can help me I will forever remain oblieged.

  • Pavilion 11 x 2: unknown device after installing Windows 10

After the upgrade to Windows 10 my Device Manager shows that my PCI encryption/decryption controller has no driver installed.  I tried to use the HP Web site to get all the drivers, but it still doesn't load the drivers Intel Trusted Execution and now shows "unknown device" with no driver loaded.  How can I solve this?

    You are the very welcome.

The driver that I posted did not work is because the Intel CITY device has been successfully installed.

The unknown device is a totally different animal, and he needs this driver...

This package contains the driver which allows Intel DynamicPlatform firmware and frame heat. AndThermal framework of Intel dynamic platform providing system utilizationinformation of temperature and power to the thermal protection system work properly. • HP Pavilion 14-ab100: peripheral PCI requires the installation

WiFi connection be lost automatically. You have to restart several times. Yet once the problem repeats. I tried rollbacking and update the drivers. The driver is not installed in the last attempt as well. Still problem persists.

It shows 'peripheral PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_08B3 & SUBSYS_00708086 & REV_83\34E6ADFFFF52349C00 requires an additional installation' under ' Intel Dual Band Wireless - AC 3160 "Information."

I traveled all the previous posts and forums, tried the BIOS update as well. Nothing has worked.

Please help me solve the problem.

    Hello:

Have you tried the latest driver W10 directly from Intel?

Otherwise, it's one you need... 2nd one down on the left for 64 bit.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/26171/Intel-PROSet-Wireless-software-and-drivers-for-Windows-10?product=75442

If you still have the problem after installing the driver, the only other suggestion I can offer would be to uninstall the Intel 3160 in Device Manager, click the driver uninstall, restart the PC and reinstall the driver above.

I have compressed upwards and attached the first driver you need below.

Download and uncompress the file in its folder.  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to Device Manager and click on the device of ASD0001 who need the pilot.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.  Restart the PC.
