HP pavilion p7-1534 Desktop PC Downgrade to Windows 7. Driver help!

Hello!

I am currently downgrading my pc of Windows 8.1 for Windows 7 so now I have two of the operating system on a Dual Boot until I have finished Windows 7 then I'll remove windows 8.1. My only problem is that the drivers recommended by other messages of the forum do not work for me.

http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-operating-systems-software-recovery/Windows-7-on-a-P7-1534/TD-p...

I managed to install a driver with a success that is causing Amd Graphics Driver. But when you try to install one of the other drivers he will end in either "the update has completely failed. (259)"or"your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update. Update has been canceled (9996). "Or a popup window that says"the program may not not installed correctly. (Option 1) Reinstall with the recommended settings? (Option 2) No, the program works correctly. »

Help, please!

Try The Original Ralink Wireless Network Controller Driver and Ralink Wireless Network Controller Driver Update for PCI\VEN_1814 & DEV_539B & SUBSYS_18ED103C & REV_00 and Atheros Original network controller driver for PCI\VEN_1969 & DEV_1091 & SUBSYS_2AE0103C & REV_08

You can also use MediaTek downloads and Qualcomm Atheros AR816X QCA817X family of drivers for the respective network controllers.

Before you change or change anything, please create your personal HP recovery media.

You'll need a new copy of Windows 7 64-bit with a Microsoft COA and a figure of 25 unused/valid key PID from Microsoft. Windows 7 DVD may not work properly on UEFI-based systems, this is why you may need to create a FAT32 UEFI USB Windows 7 for Windows 7 installation key to install correctly.

You will need to DISABLE "Secure Boot" and ENABLE "Legacy Support" in the "Configuration of the BIOS start-up secure" on the settings page similar to what is shown below, until you try to install Windows 7.

After you save the changes, the computer may ask that you confirm the changes... Accept the changes by typing the four digit code and press the ENTER"" key.

After installing Windows 7, you will need to install any drivers necessary before being fully functional. Most of the Windows 7 drivers on the page of software and the driver HP Pavilion Notebook-15z ab000 CTO - should work on your computer. Please do not use any BIOS or Firmware from this page.

Thanks for posting (text only) Windows Device Manager "Hardware ID" for all the remaining of the missing and/or unknown devices, as shown in the example below, and we can direct you to the correct drivers.

  • Downgraded to Windows 7, need help with specific drivers

    Hi all!

I recently bought a HP P7 - 1439 PC with pre-installed Windows 8. A given operating system, a week or two to try to settle and found that I couldn't mesh with the new system, so I went down to Windows 7.

Now my question: I am aware that drivers are needed for the mother/USB Card controllers, and the motherboard itself has been designed for Windows 8.

I need the drivers following according to Device Manager (because it is marked with a yellow exclaimation mark):

BCM20702A0 (No idea what it is)

Controller (I think I installed an Ethernet driver, seems it was not what it was) network

    SM Bus controller

    Bus USB controllers (x 2)

I think that by finding that the motherboard drivers would solve many of these issues. However, research of their drivers MSI which corresponds to the motherboard (Jasmine, MSI MS-7778) had no result. Can someone point me right or comparable drivers for it?

    Information:

    Product number: H3L17AA #ABA

    OS: Windows 7 Pro

    Pilots managed to get:
    AMD Radeon HD 7660D

    Qualcomm-Atheros AR8161/8165 PCI - E Gigabit Ethernet Controller

  • Can I downgrade to Windows 7 from Windows 8.1 on my desktop computer Pavilion 500-368na

As I'm not impressed by Windows 8.1 on my brand new, aged 1 week, Desktop, I would like to know if it is possible to downgrade to Windows 7. My pc would be used mainly as office at home with absolutely no interest in the games. Advice and instructions would be appreciated, although I have been informed that it is a complicated procedure. Is this something that should be done by a pc engineer?

You are right in your assumption that the guarantee may be cancelled.

Overview of Windows 9 is expected at the end of the month and we are all eager to see more of what she's on about.  Leak screenshots and which are not pure speculation as Microsoft kept a tight lid on this version.  It's perhaps the last full blown, with what they come out.  It could very well become a subscription service similar to what they are currently doing with Office 365 updated.  Other software companies seem to go the same route.

As I said in my post, you can save 8 looks like Win 7.  There is a free ebook of Dell, Windows 8 for Dummies, you can download from this site, if you are interested.

If the reason why you don't like Win8x is the lack of a desktop and start menu, consider downloading and installing ClassicShell.  This will give the look-and-feel of Win7 back - and it's FREE!

As for Win7, there are drivers HP to Win7 for your PC: http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-15-Notebook-PC-series/7771366/model/8255011

If this page does not display Win7 when you open it, then click on edit and select Windows 7 from the menu drop down.

As for the feature, Yes, you will have the same functionality in Win7 you have in Win8x - just a different user interface.

There is no 'path of decommissioning' to Win7. Instead, you'd have to do is to boot from Win7 installation media and install it on top of Win8.  This means that you will lose all existing applications, the parameters and the data of the user in the process.

NO, we do not keep or use the same license.  Your PC came with HP OEM Win8 preinstalled, and that's what the license is for.  To install Win7, you will need to buy it and then activate it by using the product key that you receive with the purchase.  You can't buy this at HP, because he's not selling copies of Win7.

But what you CAN do is to check with the HP customer service and see if they will sell you HP to Win7 for your PC recovery media.  It would cost much less go out and buy a copy of Win7 retail.

  • HP Pavilion P7-1534: Pavilion P7-1534 won't drive or CD boot

Hello!  I have a desktop HP Pavilion P7-1534 Windows 8.1 running with all the updates, also running ZoneAlarm and Norton Internet Security (basically only running Norton AntiVirus).  The computer started recently do not start.  Here, I was able to start fan (s) and what appeared to be the hard drive turns to the top and make a kind of movement of the head, but nothing else.   I've forced a stop down and then press the power button again, if often starts very well.  A few times, it took more than one attempt.   I backed up my system.

Once the system booted successfully, it doesn't sem to be any problem to launch system - reading and writing to disk, running the software.  For me, that doesn't sound like a record hard problem, but I didn't know what my options were to solve the problem.  Replace the drive would be expensive (1 terabyte disk), especially if the drive is not the problem.  For my TI could be the motherboard or something having to do with UEFI (if this is the current "BIOS").

I decided to leave the computer and no restart and was able to do as well.  Then the cursor changed to a few strange characters - looks like a corrupted icon, so I tried to restart, and that failed.

Now, the system does not boot at all.  I powered down and back up repeatedly without success.  I don't seem to be able to start in the UEFI, if possible, even that s.  I tried to boot into a DVD with the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool, but without success, either.  I opened the case and reconnect the cable from the drive to the drive and the motherboard.  Couldn't think of anything else to try.

Any ideas?  Thank you very much.

Nuccii, I apologize for the delay in answering.  After your last suggestion, I asked the help of a friend with techies.  He was able to verify that the food was good, memory was good, and the disc was good.  He was trying to see if he had access to a system in which he could try my processor.  He couldn't, but it took four weeks for him to get back to me!  I get to ask a busy friend who is probably receive queries from others, and who has a life.

At that point, it seemed that the main possibilities were the CPU or the motherboard.  Because when I was (barely) able to start before starting failed completely, the system ran very well once he had started.  I decided to take the risk and bought a mother Board of the same type that I had in my system.  (First time I replaced a motherboard, but I went slowly NS with care, have watched some relevant videos and made sure to mark where each connector went down).  The result is that the system is running.

Thank you for your support and suggestions.  God bless you!

I posted here about my problems with Google Chrome...

My computer is HP Pavilion p7-1534 running Windows 8.1 Basic.

I don't get any error messages when running in these errors. They are mainly just to stop and load and nothing happens.

I did not change my system until these errors have occurred. These errors were held for at least a week.

    Questions-

    1. I downloaded the Vevo app several times different (mobile and desktop) and I've never been able to watch videos. It is used to close on itself without error/warning, but now is not just to play the videos.

That's all that I have for now, but if I encountered several I will modify this message.
