HP - Pavilion Slimline computer to Desktop - 4 GB memory - 500 GB HDD

I am considering buying the HP - Pavilion Slimline Desktop - 4 GB - HDD 500 GB with windows 8.1 and wonder, this software comes pre-loaded and does have a cd tray / dvd and player? It will play them without buying the windows media pack?

A cautionary note: Slimlines isn't a gamer machine.

I have a hp pavilion slimline s3700y desktop pc. is it possible that it can support two monitors?

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion Slimline s3700y. According to the specifications, the power plant is only valued at 160 watts, and there is no card graphics PCIe x 16 on the market which help the power supply to your computer.

Depending on what you plan on both monitors, there may be several different options.

    (1) Day trading, word documents, spreadsheets and other... buy an adapter USB-to-video as the EVGA UV plus + UV19 or UV39.

After I have shut down the computer and it reboot later, the clock shows the time when he was arrested. The calendar setting also restores the wrong month and year. Some parameters of time and the date are usually caused by the CMOS battery.

So why the analysis of health is failing?      I don't know if all relevant diagnostic report is placed on my computer.     If they are produced, so I don't know where to find them.

Or do I have a version of corrupt/out-of-day of the Support Assistant software?

Or y at - it an explanation?

I would be grateful for any light.     Thank you.

    Brian, welcome to the forum.

I can't give you a good explanation for the problems you are having.  It is probably a bug in the software.  I had very similar problems when using Windows Update.  Do not install the updates without apparent reason.

Here is the Official Site for HPSA.  I have suggrest by downloading and installing the latest version.  You must uninstall the current version before you start.  I'd be happy to hear the result.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline computer Office S5610F - drivers Windows XP

    Hello HP Forum,

My father recently bought a HP Pavilion Slimline S5610F desktop, refurbished and wants that I format and install Windows XP. I was wondering if this is possible? In the past, I have sought answers from this forum and have always made to answers and help I've gotten. I know that it is already harder to find drivers with my Compaq a few years ago, so I can only imagine that XP drivers are still harder to find now.

Thank you in advance to help you with this matter.

    Stéphane

    Hi, Stéphane:

Sorry, none of these drivers were working. I took a bet on them being identical to that of a PC HP Pro 3125 which had the same chipset.

Try the driver for chipset southbridge AMD from AMD (first listed file).

The image you posted will take awhile to get through.

In the meantime, you can try the audio drivers / Realtek network on the Realtek site:

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s5580t CTO Desktop PC Hard Drive Upgrade

    Hi all

I was wondering if I could upgrade my hard drive to an SSD and leave the existing as a backup HARD disk drive? Is there in the machine? Thank you!

In a Slimline desktop space is quite limited, even if an SSD is format 2.5 ".

You can probably adapt Island SSD in the Bay which was taken over by the DVD player.   Set up as startup disk so that you can enjoy the performance gain. Buy the largest capacity SSD that is in the budget to upgrade.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline (HP s5000: I need more memory on my s5000 HP (HP s5710f))

I have had this machine for about 4 years and am currently running out of memory when in common applications such as Facebook.  The machine has 3 GB of memory on the motherboard that contains only 3 memory locations.  The maximum memory seems to be only 4 GB.

I need advice on what I should do next?  Analysis the new tablets in Office Depot I learned that most of them have about 12 GB of memory.  I suppost I shouldn't really that much but I would like to have at least 8 to 10 GB of main memory.  I can't do it on my current motherboard.  Is it better to just get a new machine or if I could install another motherboard that would be both mount my current box but also have enough connectors memory to support a higher total memory.

Thanks in advance for your help on this problem.

    Hello

If it's your PC S5710f, then there are only two available memory locations.  If you look at the specs of your PC, you will see that you can install two 4 GB DIMMS to bring the total memory up to 8 GB which works very well with the 64 bit OS in your PC.

If you want to increase the memory of your PC then buy two DIMMS to 4 GB corresponding to one of the following manufacturers.

The best way to avoid problems is to contact one of the major manufacturers of memory such as Kingston, Corsair and Crucial and use their tools of memory, then followed by a call to technical support to ensure that you have selected the DIMM that is appropriate for your PC. When you buy directly from the manufacturer, then they will remain behind the product to ensure compatibility.

  • Memory RAM for model: HP PAVILION Slimline p6243 w - b

I was not able to determine the specific requirements on a 1 gig stick of memory I need for my HP computer to be added as extra memory. Here is my model information: HP PAVILION Slimline p6243 W - B and advertising memory is: PC2 - 6400 DDR2 SDRAM. Someone at - it a # part/sku specific for a brand that is compatible?

    Hello:

The best thing to do is to run the tool of critical analysis of free memory on your PC.

He will report what type and how much memory you can install on your PC.

You can buy Crucial if you want to (they ensure compatibility), or you can use the specifications you are given and buy elsewhere.

    Hello

Here are the specifications of your PC (s5623w).

In theory, these processors AMD Socket AM2 + rated 95 watts should work. I would stay away from the 'B' models

  • How to connect desktop (HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f) PC to the TV?

I would like to connect this PC to desktop (HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f) on television.  What should I do to make it work? I would be grateful if you could give me an idea or a suggestion. Thank you very much.

When you ask for help, it is better to provide the brand and model of all hardware items (TV, HDTV, screen, etc.) in your application.

Your computer has only a VGA output. VGA is a bad choice to use when connecting to an HDTV. Please consider more an adapter USB-to-video, as EVGA UV + UV39 to connect your TV to your computer.

HP Pavilion Slimline s3400f desktop PC - this computer has Bluetooth devices listed on the control panel.  I have a set of 2 wireless speakers UEBoom I want to use with the computer.  I lit one of the speakers and proceeded to Bluetooth devices on the control panel of my PC and clicked on add a device.  There is nothing listed in the window "pair with a wireless device.  I tried to move the wireless speaker more far, I have had it too close to the thought and still nothing.  What should I do to use these speakers with this computer?

    Hello:

According to the page of product specifications for your PC on the link below, it comes with Wi - Fi networks and without bluetooth.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-slimline-S3000-desktop-PC-series/3688715/model/3688723/document/c01374065/

Windows has settings for adding bluetooth devices, but you also need the material.

Think that buy you an external usb bluetooth adapter.

    I use this one...
