  I have a friend with the model listed above. It was recently upgraded to Windows 10 (translation: Microsoft forced the upgrade on him without his consent). His PC was working fine before the upgrade, but since then, he has been presenting all kinds of different problems.

  Before you start to look at the details, I just wanted to know if this model of PC is compatible with Windows 10 in the first place. I came across the site of HP in the hope of finding this 'picture' of the models tested, but have not been able to find it anywhere.

  Could someone be tell me if the s5780t flag has been tested with Windows 10 or direct me to where I might find myself?

  Hello:

  HP does not support this model for W10, and there is no W10 driver for it on the support page.

  Here is the link for the product... it's 2011, which is older that the deadline for what tested HP of the PC for the W10.

  This PC must be able to run W10 OK on the basic material.  I have two HP business class PC with Sandy Bridge CPUs and chipsets, and they work fine.  Audio different chips well (Realtek).

  Now if this model has a tuner TV and other optional devices, those who can not work.

  Hi all

  I just wanted to know how I can go from win7 to win 10 before the free offer runs out. I use an hp pavilion slimline with a display of hp w2007v.

  When I go into the audit tool win 10 pc says:

  NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 - the manufacturer of the screen did not your display compatible with windows 10. Check with the manufacturer support.

  can anyone advise me on what to do? It's easy to download a driver or hardware do I need?

• HP Pavilion Slimline Graphics Driver Update error

  Hi, I'm updating the graphics driver for my HP Pavilion Slimline s5728uk.

  My current graphics driver is: Intel G41 Express Chipset

  I tried to download my last update of the driver from the website of intel but I was unable to because apparently my PC has installed a custom computer driver manufacturer

  I downloaded the driver update .exe on the HP site as appropriate, I run the program, and after extracting the files, I'm presented with this message.

  "The update was not entirely successful. (259).

  I searched many forums and tried to reinstall the update with my disabled anti-virus (McAfee).

  No solution to my problem will be greatly appreciated.

  If you do not have a discrete video card, then try the suggestion below.

  Restart your PC. Remember that you are logged in as system administrator. Right mouse click the HP driver and select run as administrator.

  If the above fails, then try the following command from the window RUN:

  cmd

  sfc / scannow---> it will scan your critical system files and try to repair if necessary.

  The last thing to try is to uninstall the Intel driver and then start and let Windows reinstall the driver.

  Well I already discovered that these computers are not get supported by HP winodws 7 updates more... Unfortunately, I had already deleted my partitions and installed windows 7 on my hard drive.   I'm relatively new to MAC-VMWare Fusion v4.

  On my old PC I use to have a shared disc on a remote support windows Center which I could map a network drive to a share using a user account defined local to the Media Center.

  I set up a virtual from Windows 7 on Fusion 4 computer and it seems to be running OK, i.e. can run applications and access the internet.

  However, I can not ping-access the correct Media Center by using the user account-profile.

  Please can you help so that I can remove my monster of a Windows PC.

  By default, VMware Fusion sets the prompt to NAT virtual network adapter and you must set it to Bridged so the virtual machine is on the same subnet as the system you are trying to map a shared resource.

  Before I disassemble my pc, I am able to add a new graphics card with HDMI output? I would use my plasma HD tv as a monitor with my wireless keyboard and wireless mouse.   While the Slimline models are not intended to be upgraded, it can be done. Here's a great thread by Erico that should help you:

  The reason why this thread is relevant is that most likely, you will need to upgrade the PSU also.  Most of the cards that are capable of providing the type of tasks you want to do will require a card with more power that the existing PSU can run correctly.

  First of all, I wanted to make sure that the A200 is capable of running with windows 7 64 bit. It seems to me, if we can find the right drivers, it can be done.

  I tried and tried, some drivers, but one more matter, driver LAN well it works, you can get internet and Yes YOA can address another pc on your network, BUT not the speed aspect cause you get about 200 to 800 KB/s with file transfer (copy a dvd takes forever). Who can tell me where to find the TOSHIBA 64 Bit drivers that will work without problem. Of course, I know some 64 bit Vista drivers (not all) work with Windows 7 64 bit!
  I use rather pure 64-bit Windows drivers especially the chipset drivers and Lan drivers as these are the most important.

  I discovered:
  Bluetooth works (exclamation mark in device just after freshly installed Windows 7 Manager)
  Infrared driver works
  Touchpad will work (but should be mentioned to install the touchpad drivers synaptics and Alyps)
  His work (by default, Windows 7)
  Driver Broadcom decoder (required = for the exclamation mark in the Device Manager, does not know that one), I don't know if it works in 64-bit!
  TI Flashmedia (for SD card reader) will work, but I don't specifically know what driver it was.
  LAN, well there are pilots, but Don't work correctly (speed issues, even with Windows 7 32 bit) someone at - it suggestions?

  I probbably have forgotten something, but change all the info as soon as everything works as it should on Windows 64.

  Therefore, it seems that you have problems with the LAN driver... So have you ever tried the 64 bit Vista driver? And Yes, I read your ad and especially to get your opinion on the drivers from Vista to Windows 7 but that s not an explanation. That s only your personal feeling but I guess you never tried right? ;)
  So try it and post your result.

  An alternative, you can visit the Realtek page. There you can download the latest LAN driver you should be working.

• Pavilion Slimline s7700n and Windows XP

  s7700n supplied with Windows Vista.   I am trying to install Windows XP, and when installing it came with an error that it cannot copy the two files.  Rpcrt4.dll and shell32.dll.   You should ignore these files in order to continue to install, but when it reboots it says it cannot find them (of course), then stops.

  OEM operating system installation disks are not the same as the operating system retail installation discs. Sometimes, the OEM drives are built with differnet pilots and other tips for brands and models of PC OEM.

  I am wanting to upgrade to Windows 10 but didn't because I have Windows Media Center PC. Site Windows said I'd lose this because Windows 10 does not have that. He said that my Media Center will be deleted.  He then said I have to go buy a DVD player. It does not since. I already have the player.
