HP Pavilion TS 15-n263TX: 10 Windows Update, restart the system in a very long time
Hello
I have problems with my laptop, after I installed the update of the operating system Windows 10. Once installation is complete, my system went into a "restart" and has not restarted in fact still. He has been on the color screen, with the white circle, loading wheel beside the word "reboot" for about 17 hours now and I don't know if I have to force down my system or just wait it out. Thanks for the help.
Hello
Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.
Well, 17 hours is too so obviously he has stuck. Unfortunately, there is no other choice than hard reboot (using the computers start button). There seems to be no other option.

Windows Update suspended with processor high for a long time
Windows Vista has been suspended for long periods with high CPU usage. The process is that the windows update service. In my view, there are tasks of Windows 7, etc. Why is there none for Vista? Vista is supported for updates of security until next year, I think, but how can put you them in if Windows Update does not work?
Hi MrVista888:
Posted June 16, 2016 wire m #l's updates does not, he has been looking for updates for hoursstep by step instructions:
""Note that this is only a temporary workaround and a new version of Win32K.sys will likely be displayed on the page Web of the Dalai next month which will need to be installed before you run your July 2016 Patch Tuesday updates.".
Have you checked page Web of Dalai to http://wu.krelay.de/en/ on July 12, 2016 before attempting to install your July 2016 Patch Tuesday updates? I installed Win32K.sys recommended update this month above KB3168965 (MS16-090: Description of the update of security for Windows kernel-mode drivers: 12 July 2016) before running Windows Update and that seemed to avoid another blockade of 'check for updates...' on my Vista 32 bit machine.
I have Windows automatic updates disabled on a permanent basis these days ([Windows Update |]) Change the settings | Important updates | Never search for updates (not recommended)] so if you re-activated automatic updates of Windows, you will need to follow step # 1 of these instructions step by step to put an end to any Windows Update session running in the background (i.e., disable Windows automatic updates and re-booting) before installing the package of standalone update (.msu file) to KB3168965.

Windows Update blocks the system off, it
I shut down the system, while it has been updated of the system (Microsoft Update). Now it crashes, saying that this update no. 11 of 13 is busy
What should I do?
The operating system is windows 8.1
The system should be able to launch an auto repair.
First you must do a full stop down to Win 8.1 as described in this document:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB2B03EY0002R01.htmAfter that, you must restart the laptop... Usually the system would start an auto repair procedure that should solve the problem of update.

Problem with Windows Update on the system.
I had to recently downgrade from Windows 10 to 7 due to some performance issues. Fortunately, I had the CD supplied with the notebook (Dell inspiron 15r purchased during the year 2011 model) for the installation of windows 7 was never really a problem. Now the questions is related to uptate windows function that updates the essential windows and related windows products. He said that the search for updates and pretty page that much like that. It seems there never be never so: no change that if I leave the laptop on for hours... Is there something that can be done to address this issue?
Hello Ganesh,
Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.
As I understood it, you encounter a problem with after downgrading 10 of Windows to Windows 7, Windows Update will not work on the system.
Certainly, I understand your concern.
I would suggest trying the following methods and check if that helps.
Method 1:
I suggest you run the Windows Update Troubleshooter to check if it works. Please follow the link given below.
Open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Update-Troubleshooter
Note: The troubleshooter above checks if the network card and Windows Update services work properly.
If the problem persists, follow method 2
Method 2:
I suggest you to reset manually the update of Windows components. Please follow the steps outlined in the article below and check if it works.

I just installed Windows 7 Pro on a HP Pavilion with a HP w2007 20 ". I have had no problem of color first and everything worked fine. The first time I ran Windows Update, it included an optional update called "HP - display - HP w2007 LCD wide screen". That the update "has failed" to install and when I rebooted, my screen had a look very 'neon' - my desktop background, a picture of a tree with a bunch of Red leaves, was very washed out and now most of the leaves were bright red with no visible details. This is obvious everywhere, not only my desktop background (another example... small green circles next to the names of Gmail chat contacts are very bright green, more even than usual). Everything is too bright. I tried the following hotfixes:
-Manually reinstall the update of the HP screen (it worked this time) and restart - did not work.
-Reset my monitor to factory setting - has failed.
-Download and install the latest HP driver for this monitor - did not work.
-Through: "Control panel-> appearance and personalization-> display-> Calibrate color" and through an assistant color calibration (that's new for Windows 7?). Also, did not work.I have the dual-boot of Ubuntu installed on this machine and I think the colors under Linux are always very well, so I think it's a problem with Windows and not the monitor. Because it was working fine before, I would rather try to get everything worked, rather than the update manually the brightness/contrast of my monitor. Any ideas?
A useful answer, I got on another forum (windows7forum.com). It worked:
I had this problem too!
In my case it is also explained by a driver from Windows Update called "nVidia display".
Fortunately, I figured out how to fix it:
- Open Computer Management (start > right click on "Computer" > Manage)
- Select "Device Manager".
- Select 'show cards '.
- Right click 'NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT' (or whatever your video card)
- Click 'properties '.
- Select the 'Drivers' tab
- Click on the button "return to the version.

Windows Update includes the Toshiba driver updates?
Hello
Windows Update includes the Toshiba driver updates?
And if yes, do you know what drivers are included in Windows Update and that would be excluded?
Thank you...
Hello
Microsoft and Toshiba updates are two different things.
Toshiba drivers are offered by Toshiba, and these drivers are tested by Toshiba. Toshiba has developed a small tool called TEMPRO. This tool runs in the background and look for information on available updates.
All updates of drivers, tools and utilities does not update automatically. It can be done by the owner of the laptop. TEMPRO just pick up info on the net and to inform the owner of the laptop.Microsoft updates are probably known to you. These updates are Microsoft and Toshiba has no influence on this.
When you check the list of available updates may have included updates to the WLAN/LAN card, driver of the touchpad and device ACPI Toshiba x 64. This is defined as optional updates and cannot be updated. To be honest you should not update at all. For hardware use drivers provided by Toshiba only.

Windows update fails - the file specifies some updates not installed - 9 updates failed, code 80073712 and code 78(f).
The update runs, and then told me that updates failed to install update automatik research, I had more failed updates that havew installed correctly.Hi Ben Dean,
Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file.
To run the System File Checker, follow these steps:
1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
2. in the area of results, right-click cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator. You will be asked to type the password for an administrator account. If you are the administrator or type the administrator password, click on continue. Then click on continue.
3. at the command prompt, type Sfc/scannow, and then press ENTER.

Update Windows automatically restarts the computer. I would like to disable this feature. I'm running a machine business with complex projects requiring a configuration long and delicate. The details below:
Type of operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate
Problem: Status of the project lost after auto restart during the night
Require: A method of disabling automatic restart after an automatic update is happening.
Tried: I already tried looking in the registry for an appropriate key change, but no have been found appropriate.Aelryn,
You can configure Windows update to meet your needs, for example, download the update and then let me choose when to install the same. This way you always get the automatic updates but you chose when and where and how to install updates at a time that is convenient. Then I suggest to change the Automatic Updates settings to meet the needs of PAHO.
Choice, you can turn off to THE (not recommended), you can adjust to download updates only and allow you to install them at a convenient time, you can adjust information only, or you can leave to do what he likes.
If you update, you must restart sometime in the case otherwise you are not protected and you might as well do not update at all. Everything is a matter of choice. One size does not fit all, so a choice can be made. I have updates informed me only, then I decide what, when and how to do to install the updates. It's my choice.
FYI -.
