Pretty well, I waited the Audio service to miss because it is installed by the IDT program, but other services were in the correct state?
Try a manual update to the generic Windows driver.
Open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers. Right click on the IDT device and select Properties. Click the driver tab and click Update driver. Select "Browse my computer for driver software", then "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer. Left click to access high definition Audio Device to highlight, and then click Next.
Did this install without error and you get any sound?

Since some windows updates ago, my touch screen controls are acting weird.
-Inertia adjustments have no effect
-Command "right-click" got a much slower response even with the fastest settings
Everything with the driver wacon and the last FW for the issue of the pen... follow the instructions first just like last time. Now, it does not simply install! Device Manager does not display anything on the question of the touchscreen! Tried the Thinkpad tools and installed the new multipoint touch device, but when even... does not work. Also, the fingerprint stopped after the update...
Then... I really want to go back to stock... settings options?

My D610 delllatitude's cd-rom problems, so when I contacted dell they told me to delete some of the files in the registry and now with my new drive hard to 100 GB when the computer was delivered on the pointer is located in the Center or there abouts and my wireless mouse or my touchpad moves it. When I put my original hard 40 GB drive but it works fine but I have an external hard drive here kit and I am able to run the 100 GB in this way drive. By pluging in there through the usb cord.
any suggestions as to how I might solve this problem? off silver shop and cain't difficulty or buy a new one or believe me I replaced it with a new HP laptop in a heartbeat.
After you have installed Windows on the new drive, have you thought to install all the drivers for your hardware? Looks like that you did not do this. Plug a USB Wired mouse and go to the Dell website and download all the drivers/utilities for your Latitude. This includes the touchpad drivers. Wireless mouse drivers need to be downloaded on site of the mouse mftr. and then installed.
Dell Support & drivers - go to the site Web and download/install the drivers and utilities for your operating system from Dell. Be sure to choose the drivers 32 or 64-bit according to the case. Enter your Service tag to get the drivers for your specific model computer.

New driver are installed - doesn t work
I tried to install the vista driver - t doesn't work
FN + F9 are enabled.

Have you installed Synaptics touchpad driver?
Open the properties for Synaptics and check if this option is enabled correctly.
By the way: FN + F9 has nothing to do with this specific option. Using this key combination you can simply toggle touchpad in general.
Touchpad of my neighbour does not work.
She tried an external mouse and I tried a different external mouse.
No luck with either
We tried it in safe mode too and no luck.
We tried the system restore, but no luck.
Thanks in advance.
> We tried the system restore but no luck either.
By restoring the system you mean the recovery procedure?
Have you used the Toshiba or Toshiba HDD recovery recovery disk to put the laptop back to factory settings?
> She tried an external mouse and I tried a different external mouse.
I m wondering about this question, I assume that you have connected a USB mouse to this laptop, and you cannot move the cursor by using these external USB mouse.
Is this right?
In my opinion, even if the touchpad wouldn't work or would be disabled, the external USB mouse should work because both devices are unrelated to each other.
Your comments would be greatly appreciated
So I just got my z710 the other day. clone the drive (for a rainy day). Then formatted and installed Win7 Pro 64-bit. I managed to get everything in working order, except that I would sometimes like to disable the touchpad. I use a mouse for games and other and access key does not work to turn it off. BTW, all the other hot keys does what its meant to do. Any Suggestions?
Touch I D is does not work (but it worked until 3 days ago)... iOS 8 bug...? Solution available?
Try a simple Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (15 to 20 seconds).
If this does not help, you may need to restore your iPhone.
BTW, say you iOS 8, but your footer says iOS 9.3.1

Tips for solving common audio problems
My 2011 MacBook Pro has been inactive for 3 months and when I put it in the service of the touch pad will not work correctly.
After finding the empty battery, I loaded for several hours and it took the charge. 3 days later, the load is always good. the problem is that, while the cursor moves easily, the touchscreen function (enter) will not work. The pad seems to be a little swollen as well.
I was in a harsh climate in Saudi Arabia for a year and had a few touch pad issues with swelling of the battery. When I returned in North America the problem disappeared. Now the problem is back.
I'd like suggestions on maintenance or replacement battery.
Hi there Jaggerdog,
If I understand correctly, you want to know how to go about setting up of service for your MacBook Pro that has problems with the battery. Take a look at the Web Service Response Center page linked below, it describes the service options for your device in several countries.
I recently had an ASROCK H61M-DG3/USB3 motherboard mounted in my not so old (18 months) HP Pavilion PC 500 - 081ea & even if original HP 3 USB ports are connected to my new motherboard that do not work. All the USB in the BIOS settings are turned on & the right USB drivers are installed in "Device Manager" without conflicts I still can't use the two front 3 USB ports.
The reference to a technician came from your other messages. In any case, the cable USB 3 header, as previously mentioned will restrict the question. I keep this cable in my toolbox for situations like yours when I change sets and motherboards.

Now, you want to perform a recovery from the disk that you created but are unable to get the option to boot to the optical drive.

First of all, download and reinstall HP Quick Launch Buttons on the link below.
After the installation is complete, restart the computer and verify if the volume slider works now.
If it doesn't work, try the following.
Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.
One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers. Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.
When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery. Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds. Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter and start Notepad.
Let windows load fully, then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.
When this has completed, restart the laptop.

Maybe your model didn't need driver wireless button.
The dv6-7000 models require this driver running W8/8.1.
Most of the older models do not use it, but I didn't know where the break was.
I just guess that maybe that was the problem.
Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
I have rarely, if ever use bluetooth, so I have zero skills of troubleshooting for bluetooth.
