HP Pavillion G6: hp will continually turn off but cpu 48 - 49 c temp

Help, please! I love and need my laptop! I have a Pavillion G6-2200.  In December I started having overheating problems. I was able to clean a very dirty fan and for the last three months, that it worked perfectly, well except that I couldn't use my wireless. Then on Friday he just stopped. I could not turn it back on for several hours and then it turns off again. I cleaned and replaced the thermal paste on the heat sync. I cleaned the fan and low load cpuid. Now I can turn it on and it will work for about 10 minutes before his arrest. It turns but obly after I remove and replace the battery.  Here is a screenshot of the newspaper of cpuid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  • K010 ENVY: my laptop will not turn off

    Hello

When I shutdown/hibernate/standby/resume my laptop, it will die completely.

All programs will be closed (when stop or restart) and I think that OS will also close. But the laptop will not turn off. Power LIGHT and fan will stay on.

And when I try to Hibernate, everything is ok, but I have the same problem.

Whenever I have to turn it off by holding the power button, otherwise the battery will be discharged.

After manual turn off, when I turn it on again, everything works correctly:

-If hibernation: OS will continue to last situation.

-If start/stop: OS works normally without error or warning.

After sleep, OS works from the beginning. Because the data stored in RAM and will be deleted after power off.

Perhaps a portable automatic perevent equipment turned off. All the drivers are up to date.

Is there a parameter/software to check and fix my problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

    You are welcome

On some machines, the pilot for 11 series IMEI has been known to cause that kind of question of the judgment, so it may be worth trying an earlier version.

You can use the following method to install an earlier version of the driver IMEI.

Download driver IMEI on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66001-66500/sp66228.exe

Disable your wireless card (should be f12 ).

Open your download folder and run the installer - it warns you that it is an earlier version, but simply continue.

    When finished, restart the laptop.

If the computer shuts down correctly, turn on your wireless adapter and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the driver IMEI again.

    Hello

I recommend that you make sure you have your license key for webroot. Uninstall the software and reboot. If that solves the problem, it's time to go to the Webroot support and ask their tech support that it.

    It's true!

I have a 3000 - X 11 and the only way to start is with the switch of CD/DVD/Media Player - pressing the power button does nothing.

    Hello

It is a strange question. I m not 100% sure what the problem may be. Maybe it s has the motherboard or other for lack of material. I recommend contacting the Toshiba service partner because has more experience with these cases of hardware failure.
On the Toshiba site, you will find an ASP that is responsible for your country.

  • Hibernation problems - my computer turns off but it restarts immediately.

I am running Windows Vista Home basic with Service Pack 2.

Recently, I used a disc clean up program which seems to affect hibernation. My computer turns off but it restarts immediately. I went to the command prompt as administrator and checked what is available - S3 - and that you typed in "powercfg / hibernate on ' but it will not always 'down'." I cut and restarted, but still no improvement. Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so, how to solve it?

    Microsoft recommended a different command:

I used the disk cleanup tool in Windows Vista, and now the hybrid sleep feature and the hibernation feature are unavailable

Click Start > programs > Accessories > right click on command prompt > run as Admin >powercfg-h on

Alternatively, try the Fix - It.

  • Laptop screen turns off but the system never sleeps when closed.

    Hello!

I have a laptop Alienware M14x and quite frequently when I close my laptop, the screen turns off but the system will not. When I reopen it, the screen stays off and the system seems still to go but no matter what I press on, the screen does not turn. To fix it, I just turn it off power then back on the power button. I know that my laptop is still running because the fans are still running and the lights on the front and on the keyboard are lit. I don't know if this is a problem common or not, but it's really annoying.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! If there are other details that might help, do not hesitate to ask!

    Thank you!

    -S.

Firstly I find a windows command can tell you if you have something that prevents the mode 'sleep'. Run as administrator command window and use the command: powercfg-query.

If you have my problem and SRVNET is active, you will see this:

    SYSTEM:
    [DRIVER] \FileSystem\srvnet
An active remote client recently sent requests for this machine.

    2. to add SRVNET to the exempt list, do the following at the command prompt (EXACTLY as shown below.)  DRIVER MUST be written in capital letters):

powercfg - requestsoverride DRIVER '\FileSystem\srvnet' system Awaymode

and for good measure (not sure if necessary but I did anyway)...

powercfg - requestsoverride DRIVER "srvnet' system Awaymode

    3. once all is said and done, it should look like this after you run:

    powercfg - requestsoverride

    [DRIVER]
    \FileSystem\srvnet SYSTEM AWAYMODE
    srvnet SYSTEM AWAYMODE

4 enjoy again the "sleep mode".

  • Defender is turned off, but does not give me access to it 2 turn on power

    original title: windows Defender

These days have a lot of problems with my laptop.  Problems with starting.  I need to access windows defender to modify startup programs.  It is said that Defender is turned off, but does not give me access to it 2 turn it on.  In addition, different problems with different users and accounts by the office put in place, it looks like all my users are running different versions of windows, so I don't know where to start with all the problems.  Security sounded like a good place 2 start, so I guess I'll start by Defender problems.  (I have recently downloaded the free security essentials, safety signs so all green lights).

    Hello

You might have developed some questions so I would make these your
Admin account. These are in addition to checking your startup
    programs.

Follow these steps to remove corruption and missing/damaged file system repair or replacement.

Run DiskCleanup - start - all programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Cleanup

Start - type in the search box - find command top - RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN

  • Inspiron 15r will be turned off completely

    Hi all

over the past two months, my laptop has not been able to completely stop.

What's happening: I click on closing down, it disconnects and the screen goes black.

It seems stop but the light power button, and the front power led remains lit.

The only time where it will turn off successfully is when I restart the laptop.

I hope someone has an answer to that. Thank you!

P.S (there is a period where I took the battery and used as an office. maybe that has something to contribute)

I had some of the same problem. I am working on a friends N5010 (1545) laptop and no matter what I did the laptop would not be stopped and the CPU constantly fan would go right from the beginning to the top. I click the button 'Start' and close as usual. However the laptop continues to operate even if the hard drive light was off. Only the power led remained. I even installed different versions of the operating system in the hope that the backup image of the disks I was using was corrupt and cause a problem. I searched other forums and have found an answer to a similar survey that says to remove the CMOS battery and reinstall it. I have disassembled the laptop, removed the battery (which I might add was down, I had to remove the motherboard and flip it over) and then reinsert the battery. Since I got everything disassembled, I changed the battery, just in case where instead of just re - install. After reassembly and re - install the original from backup, disk image works well. This worked for me and can work for you, if you do not already solved your problem.

  • DesignJet 815 MFP - The Scanner lamp will not turn off

Before we had the controller and lamp replaced on our venerable 815 scanner card (i.e. before the last apparently got watered by a power surge), I seem to remember that the lamp will auto power off after a period of inactivity to prolong the life of the lamp.

A new has served without interruption since a few days now, which is not healthy for me.

I couldn't find anything in the settings, the manual online or on the auto layout PDF user guide... I just imagine that this was how things were at work? If it is SUPPOSED to shut down to protect the lamp, no one knows where this setting is hidden or how to turn it on?
