HP Phoenix H9 - 1110T usb Setup error...

I want to tackle this problem. And apparently HP is not yet aware of the issue. When you perform a clean installation of Windows 7. As I started to install my drivers. I went down to my last to install the usb drivers. When you install the next version. BTW, who is the latest on the HP site for my particular model.

I get the following error. Photo attached. What is going on? Windows 7 must have a newspaper that can tell me what happened? I think it's just a bunch of bad driver HP is not aware of. Or a bad driver in general. Funny, it is. He invites a reboot and everything seems to be fine? No yellow! "s mark in the Device Manager either." But I'm not 100% sure if this could be effecting the usb 3.0 ports. As I have not all usb 3.0 devices to test with. Maybe this can effect performance of all ports usb in general. Including 2.0 ports. Please someone using HP.

I agree that people saw this as a mistake if they look carefully when installing softpaq.

Our engineers looked at in this and followed the sequence that you have done and found that it is the result of how windows plug 'n play wizard behaves as the devices are listed as pilots are applied.  The good thing is that at least it is not a problem, the pilots and the softpaq work.

    This problem is often related to anti-virus software. You have any antivirus running on your new computer software? If you do, please try to uninstall DAQmx, disable the active virus scan utility and install the drivers as administrator.

    That's good news. I think you also need to analyze of rootkits being on the right side. So, now:

    Search for rootkits with a program SPECIALLY designed to detect and remove the (aswMBR):

    Download this file to your desktop. Double-click the icon to run the program. When the opportunity to download and install the latest Avast definitions do.
    Run a scan. Results in red indicate that this was not a false positive! Do you need to remove the rootkit (including "FixMBR" if necessary).

    And finally, leave your PC on overnight and search for viruses, using this site:
    Once we are convinced that your PC is clean, here are my instructions (just in case where you still cannot run batch of Geek-Tech file, etc.):

    1. download the installation of SP3 and IE8 (beforehand) files. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links for the installation files:

    Make sure that IE is IE6 level before installing SP3. You can go directly from IE6 to IE8 after SP3 has been installed.

    You talk about the Toshiba Configfree application.
    I don't know why the Setup error appears, but I wouldn't reinstall this tool m.
    You can find it on the page of the Toshiba driver A100 section.
    But there are 3 different satellite A100, so be sure that you have chosen the right way.

    Given that the CD does not work in Windows XP computer also, there seems to be a problem with the drive itself.

    Clean the CD or the DVD. To do this, use a disc cleaning kit. Or gently wipe the silver part of the disc with a soft and Lint cotton cloth.

    Error code 0 x 80070017 means generally bad media. I would recommend that you download the file again, you may have corruption in ISO itself. So if possible, download the file again. After you download the new copy, try burning at a lower setting 4 X or 8 X speed. Once you burn the disc on a lower setting with the new ISO standard, and then see if you can install Windows 7.

    Problem may be due to bad sectors. Let us try the following methods.

    Method 1

    Analyze the drive for bad sectors.

    1. click on start > computer.

    2. right click on the map, and then open properties > tools

    3. check the box to automatically correct system file and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

    4. try to copy the files

    5. If the problem persists, create a new folder and then copy the files.

    6. If you are still not able to copy then try the next method.

    Method 2

    I suggest to format the device, then try to copy music.

    7. click on start > computer.

    8. right click on the map and choose the Format option.

    9. you can choose Fat32 or NTFS.

    10. do not select Quick format.

    11 try to copy the photos once formatting is complete.

    In case someone else has the same problem: we have created another admin on the same machine account and started the installer from there. Now she went without a hitch. Because it installed the software for all users, now my normal account has access as a result of CS as well. Problem solved. :-)

    I have no way to test this, but I suspect that the calibration software (Spyder 4 Pro) could have had something to do with the problem.
