HP PhotoSmart 7510 does not print

We have installed and had the HP PhotoSmart 7510 up and works fine on our wireless.  Then, we called HP to download an application.  HP technician decided to 'fix' our PC.  While working on this issue, we started to notice that MS applications were disappearing.  They told him to stop and he did.  But he was not able to restore the PC or applications.  We spent 4 hours with Microsoft in order to get things to where they were.  Since then, we did not have the ability to print on the printer.  The printer thinks it connected to our wireless and can make updates or less says that we have the current software.  But our PCs and laptops can not find on the wireless.  I noticed you said someone else to check the IP address of the printer and that he shouldn't be 169.254.  The IP of the printer is 169.254.237.217 and I can't change it.  It is the problem and how do I change the IP address?  The wireless is configured with the channel 11 and WPA and I don't want to monkey with it.

169.254.237.217 is an IP address not valid. I would try the printer connected to your wireless network. To do this simply use the front panel of your printer and use wireless configuration wizard.

    I moved your posts to keep them together rather than trying to keep track of our conversation on multiple threads. Please use the following steps to remove the software and reinstall it again;

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    3. The new software - uninstall the printer software Instructions
    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    5. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.

  • Photosmart 7510 does not print on photo paper

    I have photos saved on my computer.  When I try to print one, the picture come out on printer paper, photo paper, I installed.  I lost so much ink to try to understand this point, and I'm sure it's probably a simple thing that I do not. Can anyone help?

    I checked to make sure that I was connected to the correct computer with HP advanced chosen paper and photo tray

    Click devices and printers.

    Right-click on the 7510 & select printer properties.

    Click device settings.

    Make sure that the Photo Tray is available.

  • Photosmart 6510 does not print in black

    My photosmart 6510 does not print in black. I presume that it was the cartridge but I replaced the cartridge and it still does not print. I cleaned the print heads and the cartridge ink levels are full.

    The printhead, cleaning of the screen failed touchscreen printer running.  But when I sat down at my computer and used the program utility printing, he did.  I ran an initial print head cleaning my computer and then clicking the button indicating that the print heads were NOT clean.  He then ran a deep cleansing process.  Then I lined up the printheads of the same print utility program.  Now it works!

  • HP Photosmart 7510 is not printing

    For the last year I had the probems with my iMac not conencting on my printer. I tried several patches left on other forums to reslove the issue and I am now in the position where I am connected to the printer, but I can't print anything. Details, equipment and history are listed below:

    Equip-

    Apply iMac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

    Photosmart HP 7510.

    Drivers HP v3.0 for OS X (last Downlaoded and installed 23 Nov 14).

    Plusnet Technicolor TG528n router.

    Details-

    The printer is connected via the printers and Scanners Utility and the HP printer Proxy.

    I can print a test page with success.

    Another thing I print seems to go through the queue correctly but does not print.

    I do not receive other error messages.

    History - I changed the following parameters according to the other forums.

    The router is set on a fixed 6 channel and a fixed frequency of 2.4 Ghz.

    I deleted all printers by resetting the printing system.

    I reinstalled the latest drivers and restarted the computer. (This moment meant the iMac could find the printer - it lacked before that).

    I added the printer HP now found the menu printers and Scanners.

    Everything seems normal but no printing comes out, other than the test page.

    Please can you help and get back to print.

    Theoretically speaking, if we had a USB cable connected and determined that the question was the router, I would have recommended call you your router company.

    If we had determined that the problem was related to the computer, I would have proposed as follows;

    Reset the printing system

    1. Click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.
  • Photosmart C6300 does not print on my Mac since I put in a new ink cartridge.

    My photo ink cartridge was low, so I put in a new HP photo cartridge.  Now my printer does not print on my Mac.  Just paper goes through and come out blank.  I turned it still works, but not printing.  I got taken out and back again without success.  Also, I restarted my computer without no printing.  I tried a test message, but still no printing.  I don't know what to do about it.

    I see that you are working with a Photosmart C6380 and sometimes it seems not to print the whole page and other times he does it. I'd love to help you find a solution to this problem

    To start, you are able to print an extended self-assessment report and it came out completely, or if you make a copy of a complete page, never there issues? This will contribute essentially to determine if it is the hardware or software, but since it seems to be sporadic we are not able to limit too much more. You can also try the steps of cleaning in this document "on paper" Error Message and the printer is not Pick Up or paper feed .

  • HP Photosmart 5514 does not print correctly

    I have a HP Photosmart 5514 All-in-on the printer. I restarted my laptop and now it does not print right.

    The printer prints the test page (chosen among the parameters of the printer) just as it should and it also prints everyting I scanned (pdf), but nothing else, really. Of other pdf files, it prints only the hyperlinks, but not the text. No print from word, excel or the web browser.

    It will be not as copy. It scans alright (in a file), but the printing part is the problem.

    I deleted all drivers, restarted the computer and installed all the drivers available. I made this 5 times now and nothing works. I have windows 7 and I'm using the USB cable. The printer was working with the same computer and the same software before maintenance.

    I saw your post on your Photosmart 5514 does not copy and not printing from your computer, however, it will scan. I will do my best to help with the problem to see if we can fix it for you.

    Try power resetting the printer to start:

    Press the power button to turn the product on.
    With the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
    Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
    Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
    Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
    If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

    When the printer powers back up, try to make a color copy from the front panel of the printer.

    On the computer, run the print and Scan of the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

    Please respond to me with the results to look over it, and we can go from there if necessary.

  • Photosmart B110a does not print another property

    I replaced the cartridges of color with authentic products on my Photosmart B110a.  Until then it worked perfectly.  Now it prints shocking images of color in pastels.  Does not print black which is 3/4 full.  I use a Mac.  I powered by printing, computer, uninstalled and reinstalled and still no luck.

    Test pages print works and the colors appear.  I cleaned the print heads.  I have re-aligned heads too.  Help, please!

  • HP Photosmart 7515 does not print photos I have photo of the photo on the printer tray.

    I can print text documents and when I print I-photo images they print from the main paper tray (so I know I have computer/connection of the printer).  I use a mac I have w/OS X 5.8 and I installed the printer drivers from the CD-ROM supplied with the printer.  I also tried selecting the format of 4 x 6 paper and selecting "print from the photo tray" in the built-in tab of the menu print.  I also selected print tray photo from the tab 'type of paper/quality' in the menu printing.  When I do this and go to print jobs, I get "print page 1, 0% complete" and it never changes, nor it does not print.  How to print photos from my computer to the photo tray?

    The pilots say they work properly even though they may be bad drivers (not always, but often enough). You can get in trouble with your device drivers.  Go to Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers, firmware and/or software (and you should get those updates for the printer and all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.     Do you get errors on the screen or on the printer (and what do say EXACTLY)?

    Pay attention to the installation instructions.  Not only certain tasks requuired, but sometimes they should be done in a certain order or the process will not work.  Check again the indications (or contact the HP support) and follow them to the letter.  Frankly, I would contact HP who willl be faster and much more liekly to work in the end. http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support_task.html.  Why fuss about it when they will be more than happy to help you?

    I hope this helps.  Really shouldn't be much more difficult than with the previous printers unless you've never used Vista before - that can make a big difference.  Installation and configuration of sharing are very different.  Also, there may be some settings of the printer itself that need to be addressed to make things work correctly - but I do not (but HP will be).

  • HP Photosmart 5520 does not print in black ink.

    Black doesn't print not... except on the print quality diagnostics page where the text and black frames around boxes all print in black.  Inside of the 'Black' box is empty, however.  When I try to print a page of type, it is either totally empty or very indistinct.  How is that possible?

    I saw three other posters with this same problem, everything from 21/01/14 and no answers to the problem.  All the patches of troubleshooting on the Web page do no good.

    My warranty has expired also.  Is this a systemic problem?  How do we get fixed?

    I don't know what you have tried so far the fix, but I included a few documents to go through the steps to see if we can solve this problem.

    This printer has a permanent print head. You can always run however of cleanups on the print head.

    This document is intended printer does not print black ink or color ink or prints blank Pages.

    Here is a document to clean the contacts of the cartridge.

    'Cartridge problem,' 'Cartridge missing or damaged', or 'Not compatible ink cartridges' Message is displayed on the control panel.

    Please let me know the results if you are still having problems.

    You use genuine HP cartridges?
    Check the date on the cartridge to make sure that they are still in warranty. (not old stock)
    What are the ink levels?

    If you like you can print a new diagnostic test page, scan it and include it in the post, I can take a look to try to find a way to solve this problem.

    I'm sorry to hear that it still does not work. I think that at this point, it would be preferable for you to follow this document uninstalling the printer software to get the software deleted, then please use the HP printer installation wizard to get the software reinstalled.
