HP Photosmart all-in-one C309a: need help Urgent! -HP Photosmart all-in-one problem C309a Incompatible cartridge - 564 and 862

Hello everyone.

I am a happy user of HP Photosmart all-in-one printer and for many years never had a problem.  I always bought new 862 cartridges and it worked fine.  Recently, a friend brought me to Singapore two new series of cartridges, but the owner of the store said this is the new higher capacity cartridges.  I said why not?  Even better, in fact since the printer is a guzzler of ink!

This is, because I tried to install these new cartridges, I always get the message "Incompatible cartridge" after what, I can't not access the printer.

Can someone help me solve this problem?  The cartridges are exactly the same, so I suspect its something to do with the chip?  I tried all possible methods such as the re-installation of the cartridges, remove the carriage and re-setup, cleaning the cartridge chip, etc.

Since I'm brought this printer back from China to Europe, I really need to solve this problem otherwise I'm stuck without a printer.  These cartridges are not available locally.

I would be grateful any advice!  Thank you.

Your printer can use cartridges of 864. Unless you call HP and have them reset the printer to your new country, you live. Only then these cartridges can be used if you can find them on the spot. Call HP.

    Suggest that you do the following:

    1. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printers
    2. Reset the default preferences.

    Hold the Alt, Ctrl + Shift keys when you click the icon to open the items. When asked if you want to delete the settings file, say Yes.

    Items nearby and let regenerate the file.

    Error code 1 is often associated with permission issues. Have you tried to install Illustrator in a new user account with admin rights?     So I'll start from the beginning.

    So at the beginning I had 5200 pictures and everything was fine, except that I couldn't take any pictures on Snapchat. So I decided to delete some pictures. Except sometimes just deleted photos would return as 2 seconds. And sometimes I would say 5 photos selected, but I couldn't see anything selected? Or I have to press SELECT again and again.

    Hello Microsoft Forum,

    I want to keep this short, as I now have serious problems.
    I have Windows 8 Pro, with each update installed.
    I was looking through the net by chance, then the messaging with a friend.
    My friend has design a logo, which he sent via Skype in a .png format.
    When I double click on the logo, the problems started. Everything has become very slow.
    The image does not open and only after 5 minutes of waiting Windows Picture Viewer began to appear.
    The strange thing is, open Windows image viewer my file .wav file music stored elsewhere, not on my desk (the photo was about all this on my desk).
    Image viewer of course could not open the music file.
    So I decided to open the Task Manager, but the error described in the title, "Taskmgr.exe - extended attributes are incompatible" error came, does not let me to open the Manager.
    This also occurs with most of my programs. I get the same error with Regedit, MSconfig and other configuration utilities, and also some programs starts, as Mumble (Murmur Server can, however).
    In fact, all system tools and, more generally, all in need of Admin privilege does not work. Some of these programs give the error message, some simply do nothing at all.
    I'm the admin user and UAC is set to the last row (no notification).
    In safe mode, everything is normal. In addition, disabling antivirus (ESET Smart Security 6) does not solve the problem.
    I followed a few articles I found, which describes the fix from my sound theme on None or default Windows Setup.
    I have, however, never changed anything with my theme, the sound was enabled by default.
    Setting the sound theme "None" did nothing, just like the definition of the theme options.
    Opening to the top of anything with sound (once again a left-click on the icon in the taskbar to bring up the small volume) literally takes ages.
    Right click on the sound opening in the bar of tasks and sounds to change the theme, then takes forever.
    With forever, I hear, I see the labels and buttons to come with 5 second delay between each.
    This is a high end machine with an i7 - 3770K and a Corsair SSD ForceGS, 16 GB @ 1600 MHz RAM and a GPU GTX 670, so normally everything happens at the moment.
    The sound is the only part affected the slow opening of Chrome, Explorer, and some programs that do not work, are at the moment.
    I'm now writing this getting messages of "program does not" and "Incident at sending information" certain programs, in fact utility built into Windows.
    I wish I had of emergency aid, as this is my main work computer

    Edit 2: I have not installed new hardware or software when this happened in the same State as everything worked.
    I really want to reinstall everything, I hope that a solution to this.
    Edit 3: One of the programs, which frequently closed (I received a message '(program) stopped working' him) is the host of Console window.
    Edit 4: I have disabled all the codecs to start in safe mode, nothing has changed (an article describes install codecs Audacity caused the same problem).
    Edit 5: Now after a second attempt in SafeMode as administrator cmd, command "sfc/scannow" reported an error that the problems have been found, but could not be repaired.
    Edit 6: I also tried (Cmd as administrator in safe mode with network) repair DISM, could not complete because of an error.
    Edit 7: Tomorrow, if I can not find a solution, I'm going to take drastic measures, like restoring to a previous safe point, using the options of recovery and if necessary, even refresh/powerwash/reinstall everything. However, I hope that these measures are not necessary, because they require a lot of time.

    . Excuse me for my arrogant desire to answer, I normally invite people in the forums, but this made my computer unusable work, resulting in some (financial) problems.

    Hi Richard,

    Since the problem started happening when you tried to open the image file that has been sent to you on Skype. There might be a chance that the image file would be infected by the virus, due to which your computer is facing this problem.

    I suggest to run the Microsoft of Networking in Safe Mode Security Scanner and check to see if it helps:

    My computer recently fell down, so I had to reinstall most of the programs to get it up and running again. I got no problems, until I tried to reinstall my MCS software. I have some big problems to reinstall the software and drivers for my HP PSC 1317. I tried all the solutions troubleshooting I can find on the site of HP. None of them work. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the software from my original CD and the HP of many times website. The installation is not complete correctly and gives an error message (that I followed then upward on the HP site and followed without result troubleshooting tips) or when I think that the software is installed correctly, I can't open the HP Solution Center. Yet once, I followed the HP Web site troubleshooting tips, but still no luck! I can print and copy, but I can't scanner, which is particularly annoying, because I have some precious photos I want to scan in my PC. And Yes, I know that I can use Paint or a similar program on my PC to scan, but I want to be able to scan from my PSC 1317 directly as I used to be able to. I know that my COPS is old compared to most all-in-one printers, but it used to work perfectly fine for my needs. Help!

    Problem solved! I installed a 'clean' of windows version and then reinstalled my printer software before all other programs. It works perfectly now.

    I think that you read correctly... re-read the Workaround"" section.   • NEED HELP URGENT! 5.2 Lightroom runs slow on my new PC

    Thank you for the time you spend reading this! I am very grateful!

    A few months ago, I decided to connect my laptop to a Full HD monitor so that I can hopefully get a better resolution when editing photos. I bought the monitor but BAM! It was all lagy and I realized that my laptop is not good enough to run things smoothly (although it may do so at its native resolution perfectly 720 p) so, as a student, I started to work and to invest the money to buy a computer case and use it with the monitor that I had already bought for no reason!

    So, I built my new PC recently and I put the (relatively) decent material about it but I still have the same problem

    Here are the specs of my PC:

    Windows 7 SP1 64 bit

    RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600

    Processor: AMD FX-8320 8-core 3.5 Ghz

    MB: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A97 R2.0 (Socket 942)

    Graphics card: 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series (GB)

    Hard drive: 500 GB Western Digital SATA 3

    I know that some of you will say that's not SSD, so it's slow, but I don't think that my hard drive is causing a problem. Laptop from my friend who has specifications lower than mine (a 2.5 HDD), lower map low graphics + CPU (but Intel i7) performs much better and is much smoother (is almost perfect) in the culture and the change of exposure.

    What do you think is the problem? It's shit AMD processor that is the cause, or is - this lightroom which is not compatible with my processor? What parts should I change as appropriate, or do I return everything and work with lower resolution on my laptop

    I really need help with this, because if I can't solve this problem, I have to return the PC and get refund because there will be no use for me.

    The name is written 'o'. and the psd file is named «Özden»

    I have change the name of "ozden" to "zden', delate the German symbol 'o'.

    I live in Italy and I bought an all-in one HP Photosmart 3310 U.S.. Once the original ink cartridges were being run-out, I bought a complete set of original HP ink cartridges that are new in Italy. Now, the printer screen displays the following message: "Printer set up to use ink cartridges 02" and do not want all works. The ink cartridge, I bought was 363 (n.6 cartridges for all 70 euros!). Please let me know if there is a way to change the configuration of the printer and allow it to work with 363 cartridges instead of 02. Thanks in advance for your answer.     Of course, I can't speak for cdurso, but for my part, HP refused to help me with the reset of the region. Some representatives of the foreign customer support told me simply repeatedly that my printer was obsolete, and that I had to buy a new one. However, I found a solution very simple to my problem. I simply pulled the chip on the ink cartridge in the region that the printer has been set to, and I stuck on my new cartridge. I think that this would negate my ink level readings, but it allows me to use the printer, which now works perfectly. I just have to ignore the "expired cartridge" message I get every time I need to activate or reset it.

  • No administrator accounts work! Need help urgent

    Well, it's my fault some how... Someone I was showing how to use command prompt to disable an account (net user active: No.). After doing this to one of the accounts, passwords or same user represents for all users, except the comments which I currently use, have stopped working.

    I tried to use a reset disk (created on another Vista computer because of the absence of law on this one [damm UAC]), but which returns an error when I try to use to change the password. User accounts are still there, though Vista says they are anyway. When, in the guest account, I went in CMD and typed "Internet users" and it returned:

    C:\Users\Guest>net users

    User accounts for \\LAPTOP
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Comments Aaron administrator
    Jeeessicaaah Michael
    The command completed successfully.

    So, I think that user accounts are there, but the passwords are just play up.

    I tried to go into safe mode and enter the 'Administrator' user, but does not appear in either safe mode. Guest is the only accessible account on this computer and I need to desperately to fix this as its actually my fathers laptop. This is a pre-loaded Windows Vista Home Premium Acer laptop with no disc supplied. I even tried to go to the option "Repair my computer" after hitting F8, but no, it requires one of three Admin accounts that passwords do not work. and re - install is not an option that I am able to do.

    I really really need to solve this problem, so if anyone anyone with a halo over their heads can help me I would very much appreciate it.

    I tried everything before everything requires an administrator password, because UAC is on and in safe mode is not the Admin account... BUT!

    I corrected this by enducing a repair to start after system boot failure 2 - 3 times and he did a system restore, luckly it was before I stuffed around with the account, so now the passwords work again, in any case thank you all :D
