HP Photosmart all-in-One D110a: Solution Center says disconnected printer, can still print documents, but cannot scan

No problems before the upgrade windows 10. Solution Center says offline wireless printer but I can still print it. Works on windows 7 without any problem for years, has been working for 9/2015 when I upgraded to W10 and the uninstall update KB3132372. Stopped working today. Cannot scan, but the network is in place. Rebooted everything several times. No recent upgrades or software changes.

Hi @mikealpha,

Because there was a registry error in your installation, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the printer software. Below, I've posted some links to documents that offer instructions on how to uninstall, and then reinstall the HP software. Please try all the steps in order and get back to me with the results.

HP printers - uninstalling the software of the printer (Windows)

HP printers - Download and install the printer driver and software Via USB

  • HP F2280 all-in-one: F2280 Solution Center cannot run

I can't get the Solution Center to run so that I see the ink level, but I can print fine, well, I have it started printing strangely so want to first check the ink levels, but it is another question.

My laptop is a Lenovo G50, but I got it running on a previous laptop.

I went on HP website, downloaded the appropriate software and drivers with the usb cable plugged in all the time, but it came with the message:-

"HP Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete...". "etc.

I tried to go through the solutions already here but could not get to work or the other.

    Thanks in advance

    He sussed!

I tried to recall what (if any) I did differently between the two total uninstall and reinstall and remembered I unchecked intentionally some of the boxes of things to install on the last snack he disliked some of them for a reason-it was the opposite, if they stayed all checked, then it installed fine Open the center of Solution and print fine - PHEW.

Thank you very much for you help!

  • c7180 Photosmart all-in-one: some emails will not be printed

some emails will not print. I unplugged the printer - still does not print. also, these emails do not fit into the page - have to landscape.

    @missouri97

Assuming that you have installed the full function of the printer software, it is probably not the printer to blame.

    Printer:

All-in-one printer, HP Photosmart C7180 range

    Full software features:

    File name: AIO_CDA_FSW_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 5.exe

The browser you use to view the emails aren't always the settings you need (for example, Page Setup to adjust the size / width Fit).

The browser or program may be missing parameters in order to translate something that the printer can understand the content.  Strange fonts or images in the content is a possible cause of printing email problems.

    Other...

Chrome provides little in the way of the configurations - a singularity in the browser Chrome as it shows on my system Windows 10 Pro:

Chrome > open web page > settings > print > additional settings >

Most of the content of the page (to print) does not appear on the preview screen.

Click on the graphics to UNCHECK > click again to CHECK the graphics >

and the graphics and the text finally appear as expected...

    • Try another browser to open the email
    • If not using a Navigator > check the print settings in the e-mail program, you use
    • If all else fails, download / Snipcontent, save and print the data as an image
    • Reinstall / update your PDF reader (Adobe Reader DC / Foxit)

    PinkCloud,

    Welcome to the HP Forum.

You must install the full features software for your printer: Printer Wizard (the new name for the Solution Center) is installed as part of the installation of the printer software.

    • Enter your printer model information
    • Select your printer in the list of the 'results '.

    OR

    • Enter your operating system from the menu drop-down

If it is available, you can download print and scan doctor and / or other programs of the category-utilities
