HP Photosmart C 310: HP Photosmart C 310

Hello:

My HP Photosmart C310 has just stopped printing in black. When I checked the estimated ink level I noticed that both black cartridges (564 black photo and printing 564xl black) show only a question mark (?) above of the level of the cartridge and no ink, even though I just installed new black cartridge about a month ago. This happens suddenly and I never had a problem before printing. The other colors are printing ok. What caused this problem and how can I solve this problem? I made no change on the printer and it is my default printer.

If there is a question mark on the filling of ink level perhaps the printer cannot read these cartridges. I suggest to remove and reinsert the cartridges to ensure that they are properly installed. Also check that the air on top of the cartridges holes are not blocked. If you still experience the problem, try make a clean print head, instructions below.

    I suggest to remove the printer from your printing system, using this document: uninstalling the software of the printer.

    Once you have deleted, I suggest to check and repair disk permissions: function to fix the permissions of all utility disk drive.

  • Bought it used and already registered - HP Photosmart 310 printer

    I bought a 310 HP Photosmart printer very gently used. But before that I got it, the lady that I had bought to had already registered in his name. I had not had time to put in place the ePrint feature, but now that I don't have the time, it's been 5 months and I have no way to contact her.

    I'm on a Toshiba Satellite, a Windows operating system to address 8.1, I have records and paperwork, the printer came with.

    The printer to its default settings restore must remove all previous record of web services.

    Click the installation icon, then go to tools.

    Click on restore by default.

    Then, confirm the alert by selecting Yes.

    Now go to configuration > Web Services and follow the steps to configure the Web Services as needed.

    Ive installed the new printer hp photosmart prem 310 series. I get a message saying that the printer can receive data from the pc. I have went to hp site and ran updates of drivers and software

  • Cartridges black vs black HP Photosmart 310 Photo has

    We just received our Photosmart 310 last night and it works very well, connected wireless to a Macbook Pro running the Snow Leopard was last updated. My question is about the use of black ink. We printed out several sheets of text and a few pictures of color falls asleep. The standard (Pentagon) to install ink cartridge is declining, but the black photo cartridge has not been used at all, insofar as the ink supply status reports. Why ink ordinary black used when the photo black is not? How is a control of the use of a type of black ink on the other?

    I saw the page 'How ink is used', but it does not address this issue. Thanks in advance for an overview of this!

    The black cartridge is used for the text and the dark area when printing graphics or photos on plain paper.  Apart from maintenance use as you have seen in the way the ink is used to page the photo cartridge will only be used when printing on photo paper.

  • HP PhotoSmart Prem 310 Series: Installation on PC Windows 8.1 HP solutions Center

    My printer is a model 310 that I bought in 2011.  The DVD accompanying installation supports Windows XP, Vista and 7.  The version number of the DVD is 14.4.0 and I used it to try and install "HP Solution Center" on my new PC for Windows 8.1.  What I get is a picture of a building with a few plants in a pot by the door and and a sign in front of the building that says "close this application".  On the left are the words "select install to begin the installation of your new HP device."  The problem would then be is that there is no click a button "install".  The only button I can click is 'out' and it then closes the installation.  I think I need a Setup DVD update sent to me or instructions on where I can download the installation of HP for Windows 8.1 solutions Center.  I don't have a problem with printing because my PC, the printer has detected and installed the drivers from printert.

    Of you can still have problems, download and install the software from the following link:

    Before installing the drivers do not forget to open the control panel > devices and printers.

    Right-click any existing C310 icon, and then select Remove an instrument.

    Once that icon removed turn the printer off, only turn on once the installation request to connect.

    Since I assumed this printer could do that, but I was not able to find out how.

    The seven-page document that comes with the printer isn't really a "user guide". Its more like a summary of features, very few 'how to' save for a step 4 put in place the process.

    The C310a has the ability to print two-sided documents automatically and if so, how?

    Regarding my info tells me the device supports automatich duplex printing, but needs a duplexor to do. Some models are sold with the already installed duplexor and some models are not. So in this case, you will need to buy a duplexor. TO see if you model has an installed duplexor check the back of the unit. If installed it should look at there is a black brick that comes out of the unit.  Click HERE for more info on this duplexor, its two-sided printing accessory.

  • HP Photosmart Premium 310 has: alignment failed

    Printer already works very well.  Not used for about 2 weeks. Now will not print in black.  All that needs to be black printing pale cyan or not at all.  Ink cartridges are OK. Perform all of the troubleshooting instructions.

    When you run the tool align printer, cyan is only the color that print and I get the error "unable to alignment.

    What can I do now?

    Problem solved.  Even if the print cartridge levels were given as OK, once the black cartridge has been replaced by a new, all perfectly printed.

  • Photosmart Premium 310 not printing black

    I ran thrugh all the steps given own cartirdges.  Once he did the cleaning process I don't have a test page or the Yes or no questions on print quality.  I ran a report for printing, but blacks print do not.  How to steps 2 and 3 in the cleaning process.  I replaced all the cartridges and still all just not printing black.

    In the old, old days I used to be able to clean print head easily.  Can this be cleaned?  (Easily)

  • Printer Photosmart 310 has: no display

    After owning my printer for 3 years, he is suddenly ceased to display the regular menu.  It shows only a blue circle with HP in the center of it.   In addition, it does not turn off.   I even tried the key in a few seconds, but it always turns.  I hesitate to disconnect it & plug it back because I'm afraid that it won't work at all.  It's still all printing I ask of it.  Any suggestions?

    Hi, please can you help my Photosmart Prem 310 currently does not print, it's a wireless connection & all & configuration page shows that all is good on my Mac & even on the HP set up.

    I have a MAC computer (Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53))

    I tried to delete the printer & setting up from scratch, but that doesn't seem to work either

    He has worked in the past, but never been100%, I used to keep in the job then try again & finally it would work, but now nothing it driving me crazy please help.

    The error messages I get are as follows:

    1. the printer does not exist or is not available at this time.

    2. the printer is unresponsive.

  • How to reinstall the 310a photosmart Premium software without disc after accident?

    Recently had a disk crash and now need to reload the software for Photosmart Premium 310 a. could not find that my HP disc so downloaded software complete features. Download saved to a file. Navigates to the first page of Installer and to Midway through the installation and then the Setup program crashes. Tried to get help from HP, but obviously, they don't like the words, "Customer Service", no more. Look forward to having to buy another printer since I've only had it for about a year or less.

    In fact, I solved my problem. Newly installed security software has been the cause of my problem. I know, I know, the HP instructions say turn off your antivirus software, but which was never a problem in the past. So I disabled the temporarily AV and the HP printing software loaded up in less than 10 minutes total. I am happy.

    I have a MacBook Pro with IOS 10.9 (Maverick). My printer is a Photosmart 310

    I downloaded the latest version of the software (I hope) and installed (after unistalling the software I was using and the verification of updates).

    During the installation stage, it will not recognize my printer (wifi works on laptop and printer). So I can't complete installation.

    Despite above:

    The printer is ok, but I can't scan.  An error occurred when communicating with the scanner.

    Under printing and scanning, the genre is hp photosmart. How do I change to Hello - maybe that will help you.

    I checked the page HP Photosmart Premium e-all-in-one printer - C310a drivers , and it shows that there is no driver available for your version of Mac software. The option you have is to follow the steps described in this document 'OS X Mavericks v10.9: installing and using the printer on a Mac' for the installation of the printer.

    Could you please confirm the software that you have downloaded and installed for your printer? As I don't know what software you have, and this could be the origin of the problem of the printer not recognized during the installation phase.

    I've included the document 'how Scan: OS X v10.9'. Are you able to scan using the three methods listed here?

    I use my laptop via a router. I added a new router and now my 310 all-in-one a not print and the blue wireless light flashes.  What can I do?  My laptop uses Windows 8.  My office uses XP and is also not printing, even though it is directly connected.

    Your XP desktop computer is directly connected to what?

    Most probably, you use a wifi connection for your printer and the installation of the new router has resulted in the printer is automatically assigned a new IP address that is different from the IP address configured in Windows when you initially installed the printer.

    Is there an error message on the LCD of the printer? If so, please provide the full text.

    What you need to do is to configure the printer to use a static IP address and then re - install the printer on both computers so that they have the correct address.

    If you need detailed instructions on how to do the above, please start by providing the following information:

    FIRST PART

    1. is the printer connected by USB cable to do anything?  If so, what is it connected?

    2. What is the brand and model of your new router?  Please, look at the label on the back or the bottom of the unit and include any version of material that could be mentioned.

    3 follow these steps on each computer (use the one which lets you post your answer here).

    Open a command prompt window *.

    • In the black command prompt window, type the following command, and press ENTER after each line

    ipconfig/all > "% userprofile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".

    Notepad '% userprofile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt '.

    • In the opened Notepad window, click Edit > select all (or press CTRL + A) and then click Edit > copy (or press Ctrl + C)
