HP Photosmart c309a ink cartridge black will not print
I have a HP Photosmart model # 309 has all-in-One and now my black ink stopped printing. I ran all the tests; That is to say, aligned printheads, printheads cleaned, print a Diagnostic page and print a test without result page. Had a black cartridge half full, printed the morning very well, does not work in the evening. Read all the messages on the cleaning of the print head alignment. Has taken the print head, rinsed off the coast of gunked ink. Black ink now works great! But guess what – now the color ink does not print. Yesterday bought all new cartridges. Clean the printhead again? Help! :-)
Thus, the color ink levels are good. Could be useful running what a couple of print head clean on the printer and leave it for a few hours.
I have an HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m. I am frustrated because for now, it will not print anything black. The color setting shows that I have sufficient ink in all cartridges, including the ordinary and photo black black. Should I assume that I have a bad ink cartridge (even if it was printing without problem), or is a printer problem? I ran to the print head clean definition, but it did not help.
It could be the cartridges, but I doubt it. What you can try, is not this video, I'm going to the link below and also Bob Headrick printhead soaking. I hope that will fix him
My HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-One does not print black without be eliminated text or streaks in the text. Will print fine text color.
Have tried all the "patches" you list and much more. The printer prints fine on my old PC Windows XP and worked fine on my
new PC using Windows 7 until recently.
Please don't tell me to... Reinstall, download the new driver, install the new cartridge, clean align the print heads, different paper or go to 'solutions '... Etc... Etc. I HAVE ALREADY BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT!
Everything you "patches" end with 'the unit of service... " WHAT IN THE WORLD WHAT THAT MEANS!
This has been a nice printer for more than 5 years, but is somewhat glitch spoil me when using the BLACK INK?

Perhaps he is worn and requires little (routine) maintenance (20,000 sheets is a lot of printing).
As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their drivers. Check with
HP support, their documentation online and drivers and ask in their forums.
Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

Clean the printer heads. Have done everything in my power to solve the prob. No luck.
All the other colors print.
I wouldn't party w my printer because I'm very happy w it. More I have 5 unused ink cartridges and they cost a few .
Edit: guess what? Soaking, as described in the section resolved this Forum did the trick! Dried the head w printer a couple of (very gently tap) coffee filters and this is! The printer print black!

At first, it was just a problem with do not print from the computer. Error messages had to do with the failure of the print head or do not find print head, etc.. My Photosmart c309a printer is not ALL networks.
-using the windows Vista
-four portable wireless maintain excellent connections to the home network
-a the recent failure of electricity, but all computers domestic mobile re-login to the network;
-a ran HP wireless network Test Report which shows wireless "On", but "The FAILURE" of wireless work;
-diagnostic report also shows wireless radio does not. and I have to contact HP support.
So far, I took the following measures:
-stop the entire network (Linksys router)
-unplugged and replugged the printer and router
-set factory default printer
-all I can think (but go ballistic)
I have a similar problem, except that my 309 a link but if it is idle for a few moments he log out and have to stop and reconnected or reset using the configuration menu. Contact with HP said that HP is aware of the problem but that he has no intention to post a fix and the problem is inherent in most of their printers... I received a WARNING ink level so I went out and bought new cartridges. When I put the new in, black will not print.
I followed all the instructions on my printer, all the instructions of the hp print & Scan Doctor and went out to buy a new black cartridge in the second.

So I have three cartridges of "True HP", two of them nine and no black print.
Are there any other instructions that can be followed to fix my printer? It is more under warranty and there is no way I'm paying for a repair on a printer who leave work when installing a new cartridge.

black ink does not print and alignment fails. I cleaned the printheads through all the levels. The colors print perfectly but black will not print. I have reset the printer, run test pages, but still no black ink and unity trys to align, but fails. The unit is no longer in warranty.

After that, color printing has no black color.
All HP cartridges are not new.

I replaced the 4 cartridges again purchased at HP online.
After that, the black will not print if I choose to print in color.
But if I print in "black and white only", black is in fact works very well.

It seems that some of the old black ink can be dried in the ports of the printhead from the C310, nyart12020.
There are a few steps to help solve this problem in the document below:
The document led to replace the printhead from the C310. That's when we could use check whether the printer is IN or out of warranty.
In case of warranty, then call the HP Technical Support on this printer.
If outside warranty, then you have two options:
- You can buy the print head for a printer C310 from the HP parts store by searching for the CN642a part number.
- We can try a step not sanctioned HP to attempt to manually clean the printhead across a dipping process. Information for how to do this can be located underneath:

I have a 3520e all-in-one Deskjet printer and I just replaced the cartridges in it all, because they were empty. Now, all of a sudden, the black will not print.
I've done all the fixes proposed by the documents of support on this Web site. The cartridges are genuine, I bought them on the HP online store, they are installed correctly and properly ventilated. I had an alignment, but also print head cleaning. I used the app HP Scan and printing doctor who says that there is nothing wrong with my printer.
I don't know what else to try at this point except maybe by yet another cartridge to see if someone else would work. I never had problems with this printer before. I would like suggestions. Thank you!
So far, there is no solution for this problem. Since my camera is out of warranty, I chose to do not call HP because I don't want to pay for a telephone diagnosis that will tell me what I already know: it is a hardware problem. I know now, so it's the printer and not the ink, because I bought and installed an another black print cartridge and still have had no luck. I got a free chat with an agent at best Geek Squad to buy today, who confirmed my suspicions that this is probably a hardware problem. I'll take the camera this weekend at their shop for repair.
