HP Photosmart C3180 did re-install arghhh :(

Hello

So some time ago my laptop after having been activated, would come with "trayapp.msi Missing."

Research of my own suggetsed, that it was the printer issues.

So yesterday, I uninstalled my printer

This seems to have stopped the next message.

I thought then to reinstall the software.

I have a windows 7 64 bit laptop and my printer is HP Photosmart C3180 all in one

However, on the first step of the installation, the verification system, an error message comes sup saying file missing. And starts the unistalling to what had been installed. However, even on the uninstall, it freezes at the same point and I have to force the program to close.

I have no idea why this is happening. HP after the error automatically put on my desk of various things, he could be and soloutions. I got them tired any chance of o again.

2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356, you can have more than one)
3 open the Util folder
4 open the CCC folder
5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe
6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
7. download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash player

    Have you tried running the convenience store hardware and peripherals such as suggested in the previous answer?

    I suggest you to start the computer in a clean boot and check if you able to install the drivers. Perform a clean boot also helps us to find out who is the third demand which is causing the problem. To so please check the below the Microsoft Help article.

    What is the PSDR? Do you still see the error message?

    When you upgraded to 8.1 Windows operating system you also update the software and drivers for the C3180 PS?

    Are there Windows updates that must be installed?

    I hope I can help you with the error scan "8, [(4.0,-2147417851)]" you note on your computers. I have a few in mind thinking about you to start troubleshooting the concern. I would like to answer you to me when you have completed the steps and I would like to know what happened please!

    1. uninstall the printer softwarefor the printer Deskjet 2050 a via the Control Panel, and then restart your computer.

    2. complete a level 3 Uninstall to uninstall the C3180. There are 2 ways to complete uninstallation, please take the steps appropriate to your situation:

    Of the Original installation CD:

    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

    2. open "Computer", and then right click on CD drive and open

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. run the L3uninstall.exe.

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

    7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    I have a new computer Presario CQ5500f PC with Windows 7.  I tried to connect my HP Photosmart C3180 printer to the computer.  When I put the printer CD in it tells me the following.  Does this mean that I can't use this printer?

    I lost my hard drive and some hp software.

    My drivers for the C3180 are ok because I can print of precessors Word etc.

    BUT

    I lost the ability to analyse.  Also the hp software, which has set up analysis and gave etc. ink levels

    I would like to help you today to solve software problems you experience on your Windows 7 computer when you try to use the all-in-one HP Photosmart C3180 printer software and scan functions. Now, you specify in your message that you are able to print again. Printing can be done with a simple generic Windows driver, unlike digitization requiring the HP full feature software and drivers to install. To help you win all the software functions back I'll have remove you your software and the drivers of your computer (if they occur still exist out there) and walk helps you reinstall everything, so we have a nice clean slate to work with. Can I please you follow the steps below.

    Please disconnect the USB cable before you continue.

    Step 1: Uninstall the drivers:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select all programs
    3. Select the HP folder
    4. Select your Camera HP Photosmart
    5. Select Uninstall

    Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the uninstallation.

    Step 2: Remove temporary files:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. In the box "search programs and files" located just above to start after you click on it, type %temp% , and then press enter on your keyboard
    3. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will highlight now.
    4. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. A Temp file should you will automatically get the pop up to 'jump' this point.
    5. Close the Temp folder, once it is empty
    6. Right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and Select empty recycling bin

    Step 3: Reinstall the drivers:

    1. Please click here to download the appropriate drivers for your printer
    2. Once the site opens click on the download button
    3. Allow the download to run
    4. Please follow the steps on the screen to reinstall your printer

    Once the installation is complete, please test your print and rescan functions.

  • Photosmart C3180 prints text scrabbled

    I have (2) printers Photosmart C3180, each on separate Wxp Pro Sp3 desktop computers.  Sometimes a single printer starts printing printing text scrabbled in the middle of a page or image.  Sometimes, the scrabbled text is spread (one line at a time) on several pages, and I turn off the printer to stop it.  The other printer worked properly all the time.

    I ran the latest HP printer/Scan diagnosis tool and pointed out just as good.  I even moved the printer on another computer with a new installation and I still have the occasional print issue.  Turning off the printer and the print jobs always restarting.  I disabled the advanced features of the printer, but that did not help.  HP update indicates no updates needed, but MS Update (2) optional updates (DOTUSB, DOTPRT) for my C3180 printer.  What are MS knows that HP does not work?  Which solves the update of MS (as there is no detail or back links to MS)?

    Updates, that you wonder are updated to Microsoft to improve the functioning of your printer via USB and to improve the functioning of your printer with the print spooler.  These updates will not solve the problem you are having, but this document should help you work in a fix.  Most of the time, the problem is caused by a defective USB cable.  Let me know what happens.

    Recently, I encountered some problems serious the printer. When my printer rolls turns, it produces a sound extremely hard. Reject, we continued using the printer. However, today, the rolls seemed rather slow and it seems as if it may malfunction at any time. True that, I couldn't print more things. When I opened the dorr of my printer to check, I noticed there wassome spill the ink shape. When I closed the door, I went to the control panel to check the status of my printer. It says "open door, a single document in the queue" when I already closed the door.

  • Problems with PhotoSmart C3180 Mavericks 10.9.4

    I am (train) print using my Photosmart c3180 on my iMac. I use Mavericks 10.9.4. Whenever I try to print something, it prints about half the page then loses communication (or there is an error of communication). My Apple System Profiler lists the printer using the driver 4.0.4.  It's very frustrating and useless! Any suggestions?

  • Cannot delete the HP Photosmart C3180 and port DOT4USB drivers

    I deleted the icon of the printer and the bestI software possible.  but I still have the DOT4USB port, but no printer icon. Ineed to remove the portand drivers. I have now an a909g hp 8500, and the new tests diagnostic shows the HP Photosmart C3180 as one of the printers on a USB port. This is not true.

    I'm a software developer, and computer repair guy and I took a class years on writing ActiveX/OLE controls, so I don't mind editing the registry and delete the files.  I need steps for pub to remove the vestigesof the c3180.  This software is a pain in the neck. easiest way to uninstallis to reinstall windows from scratch, I know, but I have a lot of valuable files.

    I don't want to miss all the pieces. the drivers are not my skills more.

    I got it by using a regedit file that looked like below.

    someone else will be different because the material of the port will be different, so you should not use this exact one.

    I suggest you rather that do [windows [logo-key indicator] r regedit [Enter]

    Search for the following text (not nessarily just a string):

    Find "HP Photosmart C31" partial text and delete the entries that you find

    Search text "DOT4USB" and delete the entries you find, but make sure that you do not delete the keys to category of port

    You can search "DOT4" and carefully remove the subentries that apply only to the C3100 series.  You probably already have these above.

    reset.  You must, because these drivers are still loaded and these inscriptions will be back unless you restart now that you have deleted entries.

    You can alsodocument them to change, copy the name of the key, then paste into notepad ++ and save it as a .reg with Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 header file

    HP Photosmart 3210 will not install on a brand new desktop running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I downloaded the latest software, and when I run it, the installation window disappears shortly after it starts.  No error message.  I ran into several related issues lately.  I can't install a ScanJet 5590 on a new laptop running Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.  Said it ends, but nothing is installed.   Could the fact that there are other HP printers installed on these computers (network printers) installed using driver only before attempting to install the software cause problems?  I spent hours trying to solve these.

    If the software is always installed, tell him you'll connect later.

    Go to devices and printers, look for the printer here, make sure you that no documents waiting to print and delete the printer if it is there.

    Then go into Device Manager and remove all photosmart series 3200 drivers you find, you may need to click displays hidden on the view menu.

    Thirdly, go back to the devices and printers. Select another printer, as the writer XPS comes with Windows. Along the top, with adding a device, add a printer, print server, you will see properties. What to choose and go to the tab drivers. If you have the HP drivers in there you do not, select them and choose delete and "delete the driver only."

    Now restart and go to your Start menu and your HP folder. You must have installed the software, just no device driver, select "add a device" or "printer setup and software." Installation should complete without problem.

    One last thing, you must temporarily turn off firewall and antivirus installation, in which case he mistakingly tries to block the attempt to install.
