HP photosmart C3180 is not recognized

I have a HP photosmart C3180 printer. He is an all-in-one printer that has printing, copying and scanning. I tried to install its software device driver, but she has no matter what I did. So for these last months, I have been scanning with scanning and faxing of windows. However, just recently, scan and fax from windows said are no scanners connected everytime I try to scan. It's very surprising because the print from the computer very well. Please someone help me with this problem quickly because I need to analyze a large number of documents for my work.

Have you tried running the convenience store hardware and peripherals such as suggested in the previous answer?

I suggest you to start the computer in a clean boot and check if you able to install the drivers. Perform a clean boot also helps us to find out who is the third demand which is causing the problem. To so please check the below the Microsoft Help article.

Warning: Please go through the section: how to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting by clean boot of section of Kb to start the computer in normal startup after having resolved the issue.

If the problem persists please make a SFC scan and check if it helps. It allows users to find corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

    134 ink cartridge is not compatible with your printer, HP Suresupply list as compatible either:

    The 132 black cartridge must be used with the Tricolor 136 only cartridge.

    You can also use the 131 black with the 135 color ink cartridges capacity.

  • Photosmart 5515 is not recognized by the solution Center

    I installed an HP Photosmart 5515 printer on my HP computer.  I have a USB connection and am on a home network.  All computers can print correctly.  I can't get the center of HP solutions to recoginize the new printer and can not find the file msi, it needs.  Can you help me?

    The printer uses a newer version of the software, and your solution center of older printers will not see this printer. You should have an icon on your desktop like the one below which is the new center of solution for this version of the software. Let me know if you need assistance?

  • Photosmart C8180: Scanner not recognized

    After the upgrade to Win10 is more able to San to the computer or import scan in Word etc. Copy Scan works.

    I use Wireles connection through a router. Print jobs.

    Of course, you're clutching at straws.

    If the solution search c:\Program then it is a problem with HP sftware, not updated Microsoft win 10 change in the title of the folder holding the program files system for C:\Program Files & C:\Program Files (x 86)

    All the other programs that I use works absolutely normally so I can't believe it can be seriously bad or corrupt with my operating system.

    These are now widely experienced problems being found with a large number of printers HP all-in-one.

    I therefore come to the conclusion that the HP products are incompatible with the latest version of Windows, I have to live with the inconvenience.

  • Photosmart C7280, replacement cartridge not recognized by printer

    Hello, I have a Photosmart C7280 and it is the second time that this has happened. the Magenta cartridge clear needed replacement. I did, but the new cartridge is not recognized by the printer.

    I have:

    * removed and cleaned (écouvillonnée) all cartirdges.

    tried the old cartridge and new.

    * use the Toolbox - clean heads etc.

    * a "hard reboot" fact - disonnected the power supply to the back, then from the wall outlet.

    nothing has worked. but the hard reset worked the last time.

    suggestions please?

    The problem: HP Photosmart 7280 not recognized via WLAN MAC OS 10.7.4 Lion on my Mac Book Pro (end of 2011)

    What I tried:

    Reset the printer, reinstall the HP software, update via Apple update Routine.

    LAN works perfectly.

    My iMac 24 "with 10.6.8 Snow Leopard WLAN print works perfectly.

    Sitting right next to my iMac with my new laptop, the printer does not appear in 'printers '.

    Someone has an idea or knows this problem?

    Reset the printing system:

    -Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
    -Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
    WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
    -Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • Cannot delete the HP Photosmart C3180 and port DOT4USB drivers

    I deleted the icon of the printer and the bestI software possible.  but I still have the DOT4USB port, but no printer icon. Ineed to remove the portand drivers. I have now an a909g hp 8500, and the new tests diagnostic shows the HP Photosmart C3180 as one of the printers on a USB port. This is not true.

    I'm a software developer, and computer repair guy and I took a class years on writing ActiveX/OLE controls, so I don't mind editing the registry and delete the files.  I need steps for pub to remove the vestigesof the c3180.  This software is a pain in the neck. easiest way to uninstallis to reinstall windows from scratch, I know, but I have a lot of valuable files.

    I don't want to miss all the pieces. the drivers are not my skills more.

    I got it by using a regedit file that looked like below.

    someone else will be different because the material of the port will be different, so you should not use this exact one.

    I suggest you rather that do [windows [logo-key indicator] r regedit [Enter]

    Search for the following text (not nessarily just a string):

    Find "HP Photosmart C31" partial text and delete the entries that you find

    Search text "DOT4USB" and delete the entries you find, but make sure that you do not delete the keys to category of port

    You can search "DOT4" and carefully remove the subentries that apply only to the C3100 series.  You probably already have these above.

    reset.  You must, because these drivers are still loaded and these inscriptions will be back unless you restart now that you have deleted entries.

    You can alsodocument them to change, copy the name of the key, then paste into notepad ++ and save it as a .reg with Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 header file

    each key listed must be separated by ablank line and begin by [- and ends by]

  • PhotoSmart C3180: Warning incorrect PhotoSmart C3180 disconnected

    I had to reinstall the printer software and updates.

    The printer works now much time printing and scanning, yet when I call the HP Solution Center

    a warning that the unit is unplugged.

    Troubleshooting routines do not indicate any problem.

    -It has been designed by HP users troubleshooting and problems characteristic needed to solve many common problems encountered with HP print and scan products related to Windows computers.

    What is the PSDR? Do you still see the error message?

    When you upgraded to 8.1 Windows operating system you also update the software and drivers for the C3180 PS?

    Are there Windows updates that must be installed?

    So some time ago my laptop after having been activated, would come with "trayapp.msi Missing."

    Research of my own suggetsed, that it was the printer issues.

    So yesterday, I uninstalled my printer

    This seems to have stopped the next message.

    I thought then to reinstall the software.

    I have a windows 7 64 bit laptop and my printer is HP Photosmart C3180 all in one

    However, on the first step of the installation, the verification system, an error message comes sup saying file missing. And starts the unistalling to what had been installed. However, even on the uninstall, it freezes at the same point and I have to force the program to close.

    I hope I can help you with the error scan "8, [(4.0,-2147417851)]" you note on your computers. I have a few in mind thinking about you to start troubleshooting the concern. I would like to answer you to me when you have completed the steps and I would like to know what happened please!

    1. uninstall the printer softwarefor the printer Deskjet 2050 a via the Control Panel, and then restart your computer.

    2. complete a level 3 Uninstall to uninstall the C3180. There are 2 ways to complete uninstallation, please take the steps appropriate to your situation:

    Of the Original installation CD:

    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

    2. open "Computer", and then right click on CD drive and open

    3 open the Util folder

    I have a new computer Presario CQ5500f PC with Windows 7.  I tried to connect my HP Photosmart C3180 printer to the computer.  When I put the printer CD in it tells me the following.  Does this mean that I can't use this printer?

    This system makes meet ot one or more of the minimum requirements for the installation of this product. The installation cannot continue.

    The operating system on this computer is not supported.  the installation cannot continue until this is resolved.

    Current OS: Windsows XP 64-bit

    Support: Windows 98 (or Win 98 2nd edition), win, Millennium edition, windows 2000, windows xp

    Action required: click Cancel to exit this software installation.  Install this product on a computer that is running one of the supported Microsoft operating systems or refer to your computer documentation for more information on the upgrade of the operating system of your computer.

    I lost my hard drive and some hp software.

    My drivers for the C3180 are ok because I can print of precessors Word etc.

    BUT

    I lost the ability to analyse.  Also the hp software, which has set up analysis and gave etc. ink levels

    I have the original installation disc, but it does not work when I insert it.

    I would like to help you today to solve software problems you experience on your Windows 7 computer when you try to use the all-in-one HP Photosmart C3180 printer software and scan functions. Now, you specify in your message that you are able to print again. Printing can be done with a simple generic Windows driver, unlike digitization requiring the HP full feature software and drivers to install. To help you win all the software functions back I'll have remove you your software and the drivers of your computer (if they occur still exist out there) and walk helps you reinstall everything, so we have a nice clean slate to work with. Can I please you follow the steps below.

    Please disconnect the USB cable before you continue.

    Step 1: Uninstall the drivers:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select all programs
    3. Select the HP folder
    4. Select your Camera HP Photosmart
    5. Select Uninstall

    Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the uninstallation.

    Step 2: Remove temporary files:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. In the box "search programs and files" located just above to start after you click on it, type %temp% , and then press enter on your keyboard
    3. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will highlight now.
    4. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting Temp files. A Temp file should you will automatically get the pop up to 'jump' this point.
    5. Close the Temp folder, once it is empty
    6. Right-click the recycling bin on your desktop and Select empty recycling bin

    Step 3: Reinstall the drivers:

    1. Please click here to download the appropriate drivers for your printer
    2. Once the site opens click on the download button
    3. Allow the download to run
    4. Please follow the steps on the screen to reinstall your printer

    Once the installation is complete, please test your print and rescan functions.

    First of all; Thanks in advance for your help. Many hours spent in research without result. I am currently running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 on an Acer Aspire X 3200-64 - bit. Recently, I ran a software (don't remember the name) which removes the "bloatware" preinstalled on computers in large areas. Be applied semi-ordinateur, I tend to exceed my capacities and I believe I also deleted a file that is necessary for the systΦme can recognize the printers... Or... Adobe associate... Or... not as likely, a question of IE. How far am I curious.

    Ran 'bloatware' remover - next print attempt failed (assuming that I deleted something I have not) what follows is a list of symptoms.

    -Always visible as a printer available and all administrative options are available and seem to work fine with the ready state.

    -Print the test/alignment page still works

    -When you try to print from the internet the following message is displayed: "Before you can run a task related to printers, install a printer"... printers are always shown as ready and available , but the option is grayed out

    -Adobe crashes when you attempt to print as soon as you press the printed confirmation - "Adobe has stopped working".

    -Outlook shows "print is not available. There is no printer installed. ' - although, apparently, they are installed and functional drivers

    -Ran that all printer related error utilities that I could find... spools are beautiful, updated version, correct 64-bit drivers, etc..

    -Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer - no luck

    -Borrowed from someone other printer Dell - no luck... which leads me to believe it is some part in communications hardware

    I can't understand it. My next step is reformatting the system whole darn. :) Your guidance is appreciated!

    Repair IE8 (IE7) and IE9

    For the Dell 924 printer...

    First run delete print jobs to remove all print jobs stuck in the queue.

    Unplug the printer.

    Download and run the patch (cleaning printer utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

    Restart your computer. Make sure that the printer is deleted. Driver Manual printer removal

    Download and install the 64 bit Vista drivers. You will get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at the moment (power on)
