HP photosmart D110a: printer says paper but leaves a black mark on paper in the tray

Laptop got hit out of the office by CAT when you are connected to the printer when printing. Now the printer says there is no paper in the tray and it leaves a black on the paper mark as the printer attempts to shoot the top sheet of paper in, but he can't.

I fixed that on my own by giving the top sheet a little bit as he began to print. Hope this helps someone.

  • HP photosmart d110a printer load paper message demo lights after power to the top

After changing the black cartridge, when I turn on the printer, it always comes up with the message "loading paper".  There are in the paper machine.  I removed, repositioned, tried different papers, etc.  I have the choice to see the demo or "OK to continue".  Whatever it is, it then puts to the top of the screen, which suggests that I run the alignment process.  It is the only choice.  When I press OK, it now says 'print alignment page' and displays the blue bar pulse, the Red 'X' and the power button flashes, but it remains that way forever.   Oddly enough, I can still print, even when paused trying to print the alignment page.

Hey there. Try following the steps described in this paper: a "undetected alignment page" or "Cannot be alignment" Message displays on the all-in-one

    1. What is the full/exact error message?

    2. who is the operating system installed on the computer?

A supply of paper problem can occur for several reasons, such as rolls of papers dusty or contaminated, the condition of the paper in the tray, or even problems with the software.

You can run the troubleshooter and check.

I turned off the printer and turn it back on and tried again, once more, I got the same message. I use Windows 8.1 on a computer just purchased in February 2014. Any suggestions?

  • HP photosmart d110a: printing using ipad

    Hello

I've been printing from my ipad using airport express on my HP Photosmart D110A with no problems (since we do not have a modem at the cottage). Recently, the ipad has asked a password to print. We have never set up a password before since we initially the printer to work by setting up an ad hoc network. The printer is the name of the network SSID and display for the password is "undefined".

I recently had a software upddate and now, whenever I want to print something, the notice to enter the password rises and does not print because it will not accept a password on the ipad.

I don't understand why I now need a password when I never needed before, and how to set a password for the ad hoc network so that I can print from my ipad?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @JMPLB,

Thank you for joining the Forums of HP, I can certainly help you to print from your iPad.

I saw a need for a password with the type of connection you use, so you may need to re-establish the ad hoc connection.

Simply tap the dashboard bit next to the key on the front panel of the printer, to access the Setup menu, then click on wireless. In the wireless Menu, select wireless settings, then select default network. If the blue wireless turns off, restore wireless settings and choose activate wireless. Once this is done, your printer will be broadcasting the AdHoc network, and you can join the network with your iPad again.

Please let me know the results of your efforts, and if you need help, I'll gladly do everything I can to help!

  • error to load paper in the tray of the printer

Although I have a lot of paper in the tray of the printer, my hp c309g-m all-in-one printer screen tells me to load paper, that is, the clip from the sensor to the rear does not work (the one with the Green Strip of rubbery material about it, I guess.) I removed and put it back on a few times, thinking it was wrong set, but it didn't work.  I cleaned the rollers, etc., too.  I try to use the same types of paper, I used for a year without problem.

I have half of my book printed and don't want to change printers because the quality is not exactly the same thing. so, I would BE ESTATIC IF someone COULD HELP me to SOLVE THIS PRINTER.

    Thank you very much

You need to contact HP about whether a repair is possible.  It is a hardware problem, not a software problem, and you can do that in Windows can ignore this error.

  • With no paper in the tray, the printer has no error light. As soon thre is paper in the printer, I get error lights.

Original title: what a printer problem.

When no paper in the tray, my HP PSC 1400 no flash no lights error, however when the cartridge is mounted on the inside, it flashes error lights. As a result, I can't take a printout and I feel buried in the huge pile of unfinished work. The window so that HP behave as if they have nothing to do with it or the problem is bigger than their power; Well, I don't have to go, but to spread my shirt in front of you as if I'm begging!

Contact HP support or post in the forums.

  • DeskJet 3745 cannot detect the paper in the tray

I recently bought a HP DeskJet 3745 at a yard sale. No problem installing on my Windows 7 desktop.

However, when I try to print to the printer will not do. He says he's paper (even if there is paper in the tray).

My guess is that something is wrong with the paper sensor (or switch). I could clean up if I knew what I was looking for, but I don't see anything that could be the sensor of paper. I tried to search the description of the part online and found a site selling a "branch ADF" that meets the description of the probe, but it doesn't have a picture.

Suggestions for what is the sensor or how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. I'm not afraid to have to disassemble the printer, if necessary.

Okay, I found the problem. After that several futile attempts to print, the paper that was in the tray has a black slick spot used a roller running on top of it. The roller needed cleaning. It's the only roll that lies under the main mechanism and it is difficult to go to the. Once I cleaned it, the printer works fine.

There is no paper sensor, the roller pulls just the paper in ink jet Assembly, which has a trigger switch. The only switch is used to detect paper jams, but also lack of paper in the tray (assuming that the roll is clean).

  • HP 8600 slow load paper in the tray

    Hello

Last week, I installed a new printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 more in my office (network).  After 3 days of decent work, there was a jam during some heavy work of four-color printing. After you fix the jam, I noticed that loading new sheets of paper in the tray takes much more time it took before the problem of jam: now, it takes about two full minutes to start printing on computer/copy/printing received faxes. There are trial ot noice normal to 'catch a page in the status bar', but the process continues until a leaf is responsible for the plateau. After the loading of one, the page is normally printed (less than 10 seconds). Consecutive pages are charged at the normal rate. Any help?

    Thanks in advance,

    Amiram

Hmmm, Amiram, sounds like your may have a hardware problem. First, click on the link below to make sure you have removed all the debris from the original paper jam. Don't forget to check ink home area on the right side of the unit.

  • ON PAPER MESSAGEDU MY C510 SAME HP IF THERE IS ENOUGH PAPER IN THE TRAY, PLEASE HELP.

ON PAPER MESSAGEDU MY C510 SAME HP IF THERE IS ENOUGH PAPER IN THE TRAY, PLEASE HELP.

We recommend that you reset your C510 HP first. You can perform the reset by following the steps below:

    1. press the "Power button" to activate the product.

    2. with the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.

    3. disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.

    4. wait at least 15 seconds.

    5. plug the power cord into the wall jack.

    6. reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.

    7. If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

Once done, print a self-test report by following the next steps:

1 load plain white paper in the input tray.

    2. from the home screen on the control panel of the product, click "Menu" on the upper left side. A list of menu options screens. 3. click on "Settings" and then click on 'tools '. The maintenance of the printer menu displays.

    4. in the maintenance of the printer menu, click "Printer Status Report". The product prints the report.

If the report is printed correctly, try again to print your original document.

If the problem persists, you may need to check the status of documents in the status bar. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. remove the stack of paper from the status bar.

    2. check that the obstacles within the status bar. A flashlight to view the mechanism inside the status bar to make sure that nothing is blocking the paper to engage with the rollers. Even small pieces of paper can cause paper feeding problems. (Important: If any obstruction is detected in the paper path, you need to refer to "Cleaning the rollers" segment at http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c02248120-20%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken)

    3. to review the status of the paper and then replace any paper torn, dusty, curled, wrinkled, or bent.

    4. ensure that all the papers in the stack are the same size and type. Never charge which coexist types of paper in the tray. The product can only process one type of paper at a time.

    5. press on the stack of paper on a flat surface to align the edges.

    6. make sure that the paper stack does not contain less than 10 and not more than 25 sheets paper.

(Note: the limitation of the number of documents applies only during the phase of solving problems.) Once the problem is resolved, you can load the tray to its original capacity).

Once you have checked the status of documents, reload the tray in the following way:

    1. lift output in open position and open the door of the feeder.

    2. slide the width guide to its outermost position paper.

    3. Insert the stack of paper into the paper tray with the short edge forward and the print down side.

    4. adjust the paper width guide so that it rests against the stack of paper.

    5. lower the output tray, and then close the tray door. Once this is done, print again an automatic test report by following the above steps. If this too does not resolve the issue, refer to some more solutions at HP support center link below: http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c02248120-20%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken

  • Computer can't find HP Photosmart D110a Printer even though it says its connected to the network

I've had my printer for almost 2 years now, and I have never had any problems until about a week ago. I have connected my printer and computer to a new wireless home network, and everything worked fine for about two weeks. Then one day, the printer was 'offline' and I couldn't get it online. So I uninstalled all the software of printer and re-installed, and now my laptop cannot find my printer at ALL. I tried all available on HP diagnostic tools and none of them can pick up the printer on my network even if, on the printer, and the report of the network Test on the printer says that everything is connected successfully. I checked the IP address of the printer, and it looks like a "Dummy" IP address: 10.59.1.250. If I type in my browser, nothing comes. I work at home, and I need my printer back on as soon as possible. Help! My computer laptop OS is Windows 7 64 bit.

Th ecomputer is connected directly to the router (with an ethernet cable)?

I'm looking on the AT & T site and he says:

    • Create a safe and secure wireless home networks
    • Provide wireless connections for devices such as Smartphones and
      Netbooks

This leads me to believe that the router is the creation of the different networks.  The printer is on and the computer is on another.  There is probably a way to get then talk to each other or to force all on a single network.  You can check with AT & T? (Not trying to pass the buck, but they could have a quick response.)
