  You can try this, the steps are written for XP so some views may be a little different.

  1. click on start, go to control panel and then go to the printers.
  2. double-click on the icon of your printer.
  3. in the new screen click on the printer from Word in the upper left corner in game a check mark with 'use printer offline '.
  4. disconnect the device from the computer.
  5. click on the printer of new word in the upper left corner and choose "cancel all the print. Expect that to happen.
  6. If it does not, restart your computer and check if the printjob is finished now. If it happens to skip step 6.
  7. If the printjob disappeared reconnect your printer and click printer again in the upper left corner and remove the check mark with 'use printer offline '.

  I have installed a NETWORK card in an open PCI slot, installed the drivers, and the problem is solved.

  Problem - will not print black. Print head needs.

  Another problem - unit was shipped to BEST BUY in Atlanta. HP will not sell a new Assembly seat to BEST BUY. HP will not provide me with a list of repair facilities who can repair my printer. I was told that I must make my own control. For example, Office Depot's list as an approved repair station, but it took a phone call to establish the fact that they repair computers only.

  NEED of MY - name and telephone number of a repair center that can repair my printer OR establishment of retailing that has a new unit on hand (or a later version that accepts 02 cartridges). Thank you.

  The print head for the c6180 are not replaceable, they are permanent.  I suggest that you call HP to 1-800-HPINVENt and inquire about service options.

  With a volume of printing only fifty pages per week, a CIS system may be exaggerated.  I print on my Officejet 8600 thereon more and have just replaced the cartridges once in eighteen months.

  I heard that HP has (had?) a trade-in program for its intact packaging expired cartridges.  See this post for a suggestion.

  Can you explain if this happens with all pages or only PDF files open with Firefox 29,0? If it's from PDF files, I have been informed that this a bug that will be fixed by an update published Friday morning time Pacific.

  A new firmware to restore the ePrint feature are available on hp.com, however it is currently available for MS Windows :

  I don't know if / when it wil become available for Mac OS, that's why I suggest you get a Windows PC and update of the printer, if you can have such an or can borrow a laptop to a member, family, etc.

  Normally, an ink system failure message points to a problem in the printhead of the printer. This document will take you through a few things you can try to do to solve the problem. If this does not work, check the date on the print head. The day is the print head was performed. The printhead warranty expires two years after that date. If the print head is under warranty, contact HP for a new. If the print head is out of warranty, follow the steps in the post of Bob_Headrick to do a physical cleaning of the print head nozzle. Does not use the post to Bob_Headrick if the printer or the print head, is still under warranty. If this does not work, you can contact HP to buy a new printhead, or you will need to get a new printer. If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out.
