HP Photosmart eStation c510

I am looking for a new printer.  I have a HP Photosmart eStation and it must be the biggest waste of money I spent.

I'm looking at an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600.  But my p [problem is I won't be in the same mess I am with the eStation.]

I print a lot of documents, as I am a seller on eBay.  My priority is the life of the cartridge and the cost of replacements.

Can someone give me advice on if I'm going in the right direction, or if I'm not point me in the right direction?

Here a link to a page that discusses how the yields of ink are measured with HP printers.  It will show you the 5 standard pages used in this test to measure. Ink using the Officejet 8600 is the 950 and 950XL.  Here is a link to view the price and watch the overview for the black cartridge 950 XL. Officejet printers are great for small businesses and also clear and precise output products. I hope this helps you make your decision.

    Hi my (?) Photosmart eStation C510 printer does not print! I checked all settings changed ink cartridges, it will print a color image, but it will not print black and text is missing from the photo - I cleaned the printheads three times. I found the 'helpline' inaccessible HP and am pretty much scream of rage and frustration. I don't understand why it will not be printed. Printing ink level indicator is not telling the truth because I replacead all the cartridges this morning and he said one of them is half empty! If I see another white page out of this printer I'll cry! I guess it's maybe that black ink nozzle is completely blocked - it's the only thing I can think.     You both seem to have some problems with printing caused by your print quality.

    Suzyd (and I would like you to try this too, CPilenza), I recommend do you a similar process that is Cipelenza. I would like to open your machine and remove the cartridges and print heads. Then unplug your machine while it is still open. Then use a fluffy cloth (like a coffee filter) and little water to clean the contacts on the back of the printhead (the bumps in copper). Then clean the contacts inside the machine. So shut up and plug it / turn it on. Replace the printhead and cartridges in order ask the machine.

    Sometimes, if the print head is damaged, the part will be replaced.

  • HP Photosmart estation C510 on Windows 7 scan but will not print

    I have a HP Photosmart C510 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit-based station.  I moved our office where she operated 2 months ago very well.  I can't send a print job to the printer and it reads print but is just idol.  I can scan a document very well.  I loaded and unloaded the software 4 times.  I bought new ink cartridges and install them as well.  I removed the print head and cleaned it and the contacts at the back. I tried the diagnostic tool at least 10 times, and everything indicates that the printer is ready and no problems found. I tried troubleshooting on windows and it shows the status is fine.  I used the HP convenience store and status show ready for use.  I checked the Device Manager, and no abnormalities.  I spent at least 20 hours on this forum, try to find a solution and try each and everything I could find that still resembled a possible fix.  Before I throw this machine on the street, I would like some help that I paid a lot for the machine, but I have to be able to do more than scan with it.  I read a lot of many post of some truly smart people then you are my last hope line.

    I understand now.  Would you be interested to try a full reset which should put this in 'as new' condition or you have done that already?  There is nothing that is in any document on the internet and I will have private message it you if you want to try it.

  • Estation c510 printer stopped working

    My HP Photosmart eStation c510 stopped working 2 days ago.  I have Windows 7 ultimate 64 - bit operating sys.  I did everything I could to isolate the problem, but no solution has fixed the problem.  My computer sends the print job to the printer, but I get the error message: printer has failed and alignment failed.  I rebooted the printer set to nothing or bells, I tried to copy null, scan-nothing and all the software is up-to-date.  I printed a few color photos and black and white, the other day with all the problems.  I hope a solution, it's out there, I like the printer and features, but...

    Sorry you had a problem with the printer does not print.

    If you encounter a failure "alignment", then it is a hardware problem with the printer itself.

    Try out the printhead and manually clean the bottom water and lint. Lift the latch to the right of the cartridges in and out of the area of the basket. This is the print head.

    You can also clean the cartridges or replace. It is a problem of ink system. Try the link below and see if that will help.

  • Photosmart eStation c510a: My zineb EXPLODED!

    I have a HP Photosmart eStation c510a aio with the removable "ZINEB" tablet. The Zeen has not lived up to its hype and seems to have been abandonded by HP. The Zeen is rooted in my aio printer to load and is customizable to show news/weather/emails, etc. Last night, I heard a shot, came into my office and concluded that the Zeen tablet had cracked open around it is sewing and fell from the printer on the ground. I don't know if the sound was the open pop Zeen or hit the carpet. Physically, other than to be partially open, the Zeen is fine. However the Zeen is the control panel of the printer, and now I can't use most of the features of this printer. What should I do? I took the printer off my credenza and plan throw away, give up the HP and get a Xerox WorkCentre 6027NI. I was loyal to HP for decades, but think that maybe it's time to change.

    I have a photosmart estation e-510 and I'm trying to get my assortment ipads, iphones to print wireless using this printer.

    I downloaded the iprint applications, and I have the function working on the printer wireless. Apple products will not recognize the printer. I use a router dual-band.

    I looked on the forums, on the HP website to no help.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Let's start with a reboot of the router.  Pull his plug for a few seconds, reconnect and wait for it to start.

    So who disobeys, restart your printer and your iOS devices.   Make sure that all devices have the latest firmware.

  • Photosmart eStn C510 series is not a driver error

    Sometimes my wireless printer works fine, but other times it is 'offline' when I try to print and when I troubleshoot I get error: eStn Photosmart C510 series is not a driver.  I reinstalled the driver from the CD and I also downloaded the driver from the HP website.  It will work fine for a while, but then it disappears.  I do not understand why and I would find a permanent problem solution so that I can simply print and don't have to waste his time to solve problems all the time.  Can someone help me with this frustrating problem?

    If the problem persists I would suggest you contact the manufacturer for help support and to check if they can help you get the correct drivers installed for the printer and help solve the problem.

  • Photosmart estation 510

    Zen station connects to the wireless network but is not connected.

    I'm not going to lie the C510 can be a pain to make it work, but once get you it working, it's a good printer.  The network connection is normally one of the most difficult things to operate directly, but this document should help a lot.  If it's just the Zeen giving you trouble, try also this document .  Let me know what happens.

    Printer is not copy but it prints everything from the computer. Copying out a page full of black. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    You may not be able to solve this problem.  Try to scan and see if it does the same thing.  If so, then the scanner lamp is out, and you need a new printer.  If not, I'll see what I can find.

    I can't print from HP dv7 laptop computer to the printer.  I tried all the difficulties that I can find. The computer and the printer appear to be associated with a wireless network.  They just failed to connect with each other.  The error code that is displayed is - 41 on computer.  I can't find someone to help with the news and of course, HP wants to charge and I have a brand new but out of warranty printer a few days.

    Please help if you have an idea, I spent hours on this.

    We will try this.  Go to start > all programs > HP > [your printer model] > Uninstall.  Run the uninstall program to remove the HP PC software.

    Restart your PC.

    Now, re - install the software from the CD-ROM.

  • HP Photosmart eStation e-all-in-one printer - C510a print Yellow!

    Installed new cartridge, cleaned heads and still yellow!

    The printer has worked for five 5 months without any problem and has been used for about a month after it happened:

    Cyan and yellow does not work, a clean head got cyan to work. But the yellow is still not working even after than install new cartridge and 10 + head cleans.

    Even tried to manually clean the heads with rubbing alcohol.

    What can I do else?

    Well... I resolved myself.

    Here's what I did:

    Removed cartridges

    Removed print head

    Place the printhead in the alcohol to friction for an hour

    Dried head

    And assembled the printer again and everything worked.

  • HP Message Center question/properly installed cartridges not immediately recognized 564XL

    I have a HP Photosmart eStation c510 series printer that I bought in October 2011. The model name is CQ140A. I also own an iMac running OS 10.7.2. Lately, I have not received all of the HP Message Center alerts, and I don't nor do not forget to turn off the center of HP's Message. Help, please.

    In addition, the last two times I installed the cartridges, the Zeen nor the HP utility "found" them as soon as I close the cartridge access door, and, even if the cartridge is correctly installed, I get an error message indicating a cartridge missing or broken. In addition, the printer won't mode 'The printer Preparation' as soon as I instasll the cartridge and close the cartridge access door. Until a few weeks ago, I never had these problems. I have my printer repaired?

    I assure you, you are able to make a copy. Can make you a black copy with no problems?
