HP PRO 3405 series MT * blue screen during installation *.

Hello

I tried to install Windows XP on this PC, but I get the blue screen during the installation. Instead, with windows 8 I can install.

I need drive for controller? (F6 at startup)

Hello:

See if these drivers work.

You will need a USB floppy drive to install on the line of F6. A USB flash drive does not work.

http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en & cc = us & prodTypeId = 12454 & prodSeriesId = 4169006 & prodNameId = 4169007 & swEnvOID = 1093 & swLang = 13 & mode = 2 & taskId = 135 & swItem = vc-74977-1

Now you have to extract the real drivers, you must copy and paste to your floppy drive.

Download the free 7-zip file and use it to extract the files in the exe file you downloaded above.

http://7-zip.org/download.html

After having extracted the file, you will find the drivers in the folder of the driver.

Open this folder and copy and paste the drivers inside this folder on your floppy drive.

If this does not work, go into the BIOS and change sata from AHCI to IDE emulation and install windows like that.

Then try to manually install the driver sata ahci by a manual update of the drive controller in Device Manager.

If you install, you restart and back emulation sata AHCI in the BIOS, so the hard drive works better it will be in IDE mode.

  • Blue screen during installation of Windows XP on HP touchsmart 7320

    I have a HP touchsmart 7320 with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit pre-installed.

I have to install Windows XP (32 bit) next to Windows 7, so that I can run a costly professional application which meets the incompatibility issues with Windows 7.

Compatibility mode makes no difference. Virtual PC and XP mode are broken during the installation of the application. So its a way for me to have a dual-boot with Windows 7 ande Windows XP machine.

When I am installing Windows XP (all versions-family, professional, 32 or 64-bit with original CD always) gives a blue screen with strange characters and the following STOP message:

    | STOP 0X0000007E
    (0xc0000005, 0xf748e0bf, 0xf78da208, 0xf78d9f08)

    PCI.sys - address f748e0bf base at f7487000 datestamp 36d855c

I did a new Windows XP installation CD using nLite, "slipstreaming" of Service Pack 2 and AHCI SATA drivers I found here and they are proposed by this guide.

That seems to work for awhile, because the installation process went further. It passes the point where she was already giving the blue screen, but it gives blue screen in a later stage of the installation process and one other STOP message which is now:

    Hello:

I have another solution for you.

First, go to your Windows 7 installation and in Device Manager, click on IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers section.

Please confirm that you have the Intel (r) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller.

If it's not the ACHI SATA controller you have, thanks for posting what you have.

Now, here is another method to install XP.

Go into your BIOS. Go to the menu of storage options. Change your SATA of ACHI to IDE emulation mode. Save the configuration at this time by pressing the F10 key and save your settings again when you leave.

    Now XP must install.

After XP is installed, please share back and I'll give you the instructions step by step to load the post SATA ACHI driver XP installation, so you can change your return to ACHI BIOS setting, so that you can dual boot your machine.

Currently, only XP will start with the value IDE BIOS. With the ACHI BIOS value, only W7 will start. That's why we need to load the drivers for XP achi sata once you have it installed.

I think that we can find all the XP drivers, you need to as well.

As you can read in 100 other discussions here in the forum, the problem is the SATA driver you need.
As far as I know Satellite L450D a AMD chipset, so you can find the SATA driver in the display driver package that you can download from the official website of Toshiba.

  • Blue screen during installation of Windows XP on my Touchsmart TX2

    Hey guys.

l am trying to install Windows XP on my new HP Touchsmart TX2, but the startup configuration every time l, the Tx2 stops with a blue screen when loading drivers. l tried with several discs, even those created with nLite and understood the SATA drivers, but nothing has worked.

Does anyone else have this problem?

    Thank you

    Nightmare

    @Nightmare,

You need to integrate your drivers Sata (only x 86 drivers) with nLite.

Here are the Sata drivers for you. Just unRAR it drivers with Winrar. (This driver is different then what gave you Cheryl.)

Here you will find the file .doc with guide how to integrate this with Windows XP Sata driver. (You will need to open the Microsoft Office).

Here you will find the file with the same guide *.pdf . (You must open the Acrobat Reader software. Download link for this program here. Select your language and your system it.).

Also, remember that you use at least version of WinXP SP2 . If you have not got the version SP2 here you can download this service pack and here you have a guide to how to integrate this with XP file written by nLite.

In nLite, you can even burn your new XP CD with these changes.

I hope this will solve your problem.

  • Installation of Windows XP Pro on a new configuration of the motherboard. Installation locks a blue screen during the installation of devices. Assistance from ms said why, but not healing. Anyone know an answer?

My old motherboard gave the soul, and I have now installed a Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H with an AMD Phenom 6 processor and 4 GB of RAM.  The 2 HD is a Maxtor Sata 1 300 GB ones. One is divided into 2 equal partitions, the other has a single partition. During installation, it hangs at a blue screen during the "installing devices" and towards the end of the indicator. Removing everything except the essential, makes no difference.

This rising on the MS, it indicates:-stop this message indicates that a kernel-mode process or driver tried to access a memory address in which he was not allowed to access. The most common cause of this error is a bad or corrupted pointer that refers to an incorrect location in the memory. A pointer is a variable used by a program to designate a block of memory. If the variable has an incorrect value, the program tries to access memory that it shouldn't. When this occurs in a user mode application, it generates an access violation. When it occurs in kernel mode, it generates a STOP 0x0000000A messages. If you encounter this error during the upgrade to a newer version of Windows, it could be caused by a device driver, system service, a virus scanner, or backup tool which is not compatible with the new version.

I start with new parts, except the DVD & HDs drive and with a start-up Virgin & installation process. I'm not upgraded to the BONE, that's the one I was using before the reconstruction. The supplier of components, suspected of defective parts and cooperated in the provision of a set of replacement of parts, but there is no change in the problem.

Can someone explain what I can do to start?   Thank you!

    Awating for your valuable review

    Hi piZviZ,

Sorry to hear about installation problems going TO that appeal to you. I guess you use going TO February 2014 or slightly earlier - can you confirm? There was a problem with one of the components, NEITHER FlexRIO going to understand which caused this exact problem on systems with a UEFI BIOS. We have since fixed the problem. If that were the problem, here are a few options:

    (1) install GO without Support IMAQ i/o for all cards of the R series (1473R, 8237R, etc.). This means that the affected FlexRIO component will not be installed.

    (2) update to a newer version of GO - I think that going TO August 2014 f1 shoots in the FlexRIO patched component that could solve the problem. If you choose to upgrade, I would recommend just upgrading to the last GO, if you are capable of: going TO August 2015 f1

    (3) keep the version of going TO you and patch the component FlexRIO: How can I get a blue screen after installation OR FlexRIO 13.1?, NI FlexRIO 13.2.0 Patch détails

I recommend just update to the latest going TO if possible.

    Kind regards

The problem is with an older driver a new loading equipment when you first load the operating system from Microsoft. Shame on you, Microsoft.  6 weeks to understand it and it is CLEARLY without Microsoft. Sorry, but none of the NDA here.
Its a simple problem, yet almost impossible to find. Catalyst install Manager - ATI HDMI Audio Device will add an Audio device rather than to replace the device driver Audio HDMI Microsoft load the OS installation stage. Or the pilot is ignored all together because Microsoft has already loaded a driver installation for this device.
    [Clean Install FIX]
When you install the ATI Catalyst 10.6, use the custom installation and exclude the HDMI Audio by unchecking the box next to the HDMI Audio. Pilots still end upward in the ATI Catalyst install directory if you can note the ATI installation path. The problem is that ATI will add an HDMI high definition audio device, DOES not replace the Windows device already loaded. Or may not charge a second device. Whatever it is, it uses the Microsoft device driver.

    ===========================================

    The material is highly suspect!

Since you reformatted and reloaded Windows this indicates that the problem is either material or a
very basic pilot who has been reloaded - video/display, network/WiFi, sound, possibly 3rd party
mouse or keyboard, BIOS, chipset and other low level drivers.

This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    ------------------------------------------------

Even if you have some of these here tried a fairly complete convenience store just in case.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E

    Cause

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in the directoryInc. of the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system was launched with the/nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly, make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with theSwitch/DEBUG .

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that any new hardware that is installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the service by starting the computer by using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved.chk, which contain fragments of files on disk scans. You can also use an another hard disk drive with more free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

    Cause

There are generally three different causes for this bug check:

    1. A driver has deliberately or inadvertently modified kernel of criticism or data code. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) and later versions of Windows for computers x 64 do not allow the kernel to be debugged, except through authorized hot patches from Microsoft. For more information, see policy patch for x 64 systems.

    2. A developer tried to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel debugger which was not attached when the system is started. Normal breakpoints (bp) can be defined only if the debugger is attached to the start time. Processor breakpoints (ba) can be defined at any time.

    3. A physical corruption has occurred. For example, the kernel code or data could are stored in memory has failed.

  • Blue screen during the installation of windows 7

Hi guys, this is my first question. I have a problem during the installation of windows. A blue screen saying is displayed "STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}.

The initial session process or the process of the finished system unexpectedly with a status of 0 x 00000000 (0 xC0000001 0x001003f0).

The system stopped"I can't do anything else than the computer shutdown. Please help me

Could you provide your system specifications?

Are the upgrade from a previous version of Windows or to do a clean installation?

This is usually caused by hardware or software that is not compatible with Windows 7. If you have this problem, follow these steps:

Uninstall all antivirus software, and then restart your computer. Don't forget to enable antivirus software after you install Windows.

If the installation fails again, it may be a hardware incompatibility problem. Go to the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor on the Microsoft website to see if your computer can run Windows 7.

If you have compatible hardware and your computer still stops responding, disable any unnecessary material. Remove (USB) universal serial bus devices. Remove or disable network cards, sound cards and cards of the series; and then restart the installation.

If the computer still stops responding during Setup, contact your manufacturer computer or your retailer.
