    Dear jury,

    has obtained a ProBook 4520 s with a Wifi/Bluetooth Combo of Ralink.

    Updgraded to W10 64bits.

    Everything works fine, exceppt Bluetooth,

be struggling for 2 weeks and about to give up :-(

any suggestions, the steps, the pilots could work?

    Thanks in advance

    Christoph, Philippines

    Hi, Christoph:

Unfortunately the Ralink BT 3.0 or earlier version of hardware does not work in 8.1, W8 and W10.

Ralink cards with hardware version 4.0 BT have supported for these operating systems.

If you want internal bluetooth, you will need to replace the Board with one of those enrolled in the service manual wireless.

The only other wlan supported with BT that I see listed is this one...

    WiFi 802.11b/g/n 1 x 1 Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Combo adapter and 4313 - reference HP 600370-00.

I believe that the bluetooth radio and model wireless card will work on W10, but I can't say 100% for sure.

Hi, I bought the 4740 s ProBook HP - a great computer, but in the specifications, I bought a network card installed 802.11b/g/n Wi - Fi Ralink RT3290 hopeless. I would like to replace it with the Intel WiFi card with support for the band band and 5 GHz bandwidth 300 MB / s I wasn't expecting that in a such high computer model can be so small WiFi card. Which Intel model I am looking for? I copied a large number of media files via WiFi and the above characteristics are essential for me. Goes the same for the fingerprint reader in old my ProBook 6550 b, accustomed to the use of this device, but the new computer did not - I would be purchased and installed on the computer (in the case is taken to the reader). Is someone can you please tell me the part number of the reader matches the 4740 s?

    Hello

#3 on the following manual page displays a list of supported cards:

    http://bizsupport2.Austin.HP.com/BC/docs/support/SupportManual/c03531708/c03531708.PDF

For the fingerprint, is there a small "windows" for the reader? Otherwise no point to install anything. A plugged in the card reader will have everything you need.

  • problems with a Probook s 4530 and earn 8.1 x 64 and card RALINK Wireless

    Good afternoon

I have reported a problem with the installation of Win 8.1 Enterprise on a HP Probook 4530 s which has a RALINK RT3592BC8 wireless card installed.  This card has the info printed on it.

    Rev: 01:00

    SPS:630813 - 001

    Release date: 2011/05/21

    Mac ID: 68A3C4BBD32E

    SPS: 630813-001

    HP part number: 629887-001

    WCBN607RH-H1

    THE COMIC BOOK ID: 68A3C48947BF

The laptop had already installed a copy of the company to earn 8 x 64.  the laptop was working fine on this OS, however we migrate to Win 8.1 Enterprise but this laptop would never apply the inplace upgrade.  We were trying to replace the older readers of 5200 RPM in laptops, and I bought an SSD 250 GB EVO 840, and as I was replacing the HARD drive, I also decided to install Win'a 8.1 x 64 business.  The installation went well until installing Windows begins loading the drivers.  Around 60% the error came that there was an error "irq not less or equal to".  I checked the HARD drive in another machine and was able to install a business Win 8.1 x 64 on it, so I wiped the install and tried again.  Failed a second time.

At this point, I thought that there was a device that Win 8.1 wasn't satisfied and as by chance the wireless card was easy access to the laptop so it was my 1st point of call.  Installation went through after withdrawal of the wireless card and try again the installation of win, fine.  I was also able to install our 2013 Office without problems and the 1st round of updates to victory.  On the 2nd round, I thought I want to reinstall the wireless card, for cranking up the dreaded irq not less or equal to returned to the top and the machine was in a reboot cycle.  During a start/stop cycles, I turned off and removed the wireless card and the machine very well.

It seems that there may be a problem with the card stock RALINK RT that comes with a HP 4530 wireless.  At this point, I had to remove the card from the laptop, until I can find an alternative.

I see a lot of messages about the causing problems ralink drivers/device, but I can't seem to find the right driver to use for the x 64 bit 8.1 on a 4530 (map exceed the details) and what the correct procedure is to have this card works correctly for future upgrades of windows?  can someone enlighten me please?

    Thank you

    Mike

    Hi, Mike:

The only suggestion I can offer is to try the latest version of the driver Ralink W8.1.

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?swItemId=ob_142231_1

If this does not work, I suggest you only replace the card wireless with one of those enrolled in the service manual has a better chance of working with W8.1, such as an Intel wireless card.

When I click on the support page for the 4530 s, I see only a limited amount of W8.1 drivers available which normally isn't a good thing about the compatibility of the device 100% with an operating system.

  • HP ProBook 650 G1 and biometric on Windows 8.1

    Hello guys,.

    A friend currently has a problem with a laptop ProBook 650 G1 with Windows Pro 8.1 (64-bit).

Cannot use the biometric Windows logon for reader - although this feature is natively built on this version.

Even when the Validity Sensor driver is correctly installed (device looks OK in the Windows Device Manager), the system does not seem to detect it and this function does not appear in the account settings.

I tried to install several other versions of the driver, nothing changes.

In addition, the installation of HP Device Access Manager does not work.

It displays an error near the end of the installation process, and then restore files.

I did some research on several forums and other sites, but I have not yet found a solution.

However, this type of connection is very useful, especially on a professional laptop.

So I find it hard to believe that HP have never been faced with this problem before.

Maybe one of you can help me to solve it.

    Thank you in advance.

Problem solved by using the procedure described on this site:

    http://shangwuq.blogspot.fr/2014/10/my-HP-EliteBook-850-G1-was-preinstalled.html

The biometric reader now appears as "validity sensors (WBF) (PID = 003f)" to the title of the type "Biometric devices" in Device Manager and fingerprint menu configuration is available as a connection option in the menu account management.

Note: I installed the driver manually the file wbf_vfs_003f.inf.

  • An EX-430-II and a 600-EX-RT off-camera with a 5 d Mark II?

    Hello

This is probably a ridiculous question, but I have looked around a bit and I am distraught.

For a few months now, I did experiment with a detached flash (430 EX II), triggered by a simple, cheap, while manual mode wireless trigger. I wanted to add a second light source, to the establishment, so ultimately decided to go for a 600-EX-RT, thinking that after a year or two, I would replace the 430 by 600 others.

Until I get the other 600, I intend to work with a trigger with two receivers that I would be set at the time of the flashes. But now I see that triggers available on the market are not compatible with the 600, only with previous models of flash. And of course, I can't use the radio transmission of the 600 system, the 430 does not use it...

Is there anything at all that I can use the two flashes together?

    Thanks in advance!

The 600EX can be used to trigger the 430EX II wireless (optics) full ETTL mode.

  • HP Probook 640 G1 and VGA, strange behavior...

    Hi all!

Recently, I received this 640 of my workplace to do some work at home.

At home, I use monitor ViewSonic P815 Participation in (CRT), 21 ', professional series.

I quickly fixed to the 640 notebook VGA port, turned on 640, connected to the system and noticed that the resolution is set to 1280 x 1024, while native resolution of P815 Participation in is 1600 x 1200.

The display settings of Windows-7 REFUSED to change greater than 1280 x 1024 resolution AND change the frequency of 75 Hz.

At 1st, I thought that any malfunction of VGA port, but when I joined Dell2007 (monitor TFT, reserve one), 1600 x 1200 went to work very nice... I moved further away, checked the settings of the Intel HD 4600 Graphics and full of very interesting information.

4600 software clearly told me that he SEES all need P815 Participation to monitor resolution sets.

    Here is the proof:

And here's the diagnosis than 4600 the software of this laptop:

    http://fpaste.org/144794/41414352/

The main question is: is it possible to use the CRT monitor as external, attached to the Probook 640 G1 VGA port and get 1600 x 1200 at 85 Hz, as P815 Participation to support by default?

Why I ask - before I was fresh 640 Probook new I got laptop HP/Compaq 6510 b and its VGA port worked perfectly, gave me 1600 x 1200 w/o any problem...

    Thanks in advance!

  • I bought a new hp probook 4540 s, and the fingerprint does not work I installed the new driver but anyway, so help please?

I've updated all but still, it won't work

    Hi Daniel,.

I suggest you to install the validity fingerprint sensor driver to get the finger print sensor option in Control Panel. Here is the link for our reference.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=5229455&prodNameId=5229457&swEnvOID=4059&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-109053-1

Then, you need to install the Manager software security tools to protect for the finger print job. Go through the link:

Then you must install the player 3D HP 5 guard to protect the drive against damage in case the laptop is hit hard or fall from a low height, by parking the heads.

    Hello!

I have a problem with installing a new Windows 8 OS on a Virtual Machine on my laptop (model Probook s 4710). After a few hours of searching in Internet of my problem solutions, I understand I neet to activate the "NX Bit" indicator (never run) in the BIOS, but I can't find this option here. The basic setup of my laptop as follows: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T6570 2.10 GHz 3 Gb DDR. Please tell me if my phone supports this feature. If so, is it possible to turn it on? Or wait for an update of BIOS one driver for my laptop. Thanks in advance for your answer.

This feature is not available in the BIOS via the BIOS updates published for your laptop.  I have not heard of any project to make available.

At this point, no problem. I decided to connect it to your home network. I use an Asus RT - N16 router with the following options for encryption:
    Authentication: WPA2-Personal
    WPA encryption: AES

The laptop has Internet without any problem. But then the problems started: each laptop 8-15 hours loses its Wi - Fi connection, with an old laptop computer MSI suffered no such problems.

Then I updated the BIOS with the latest version to date.

After that, the time between disconnection greatly reduced! It became impossible to work, the laptop sees the Wi - Fi, but refuses to join. At the same time 5minutes itself can join! The problem is that the work on the laptop is not possible, because Wi - Fi regularly loses communication with the router! Can someone help me?
