  You can not install any version of the W8.

  You will need to install W8.1 64 bit or W7 64 bit, why HP provides drivers to support hardware when you install one of these operating systems.

  I still had an unknown device. in Device Manager, it is displazed as a "PCI device" in the detailed properties, I found more material ID:

  Using the HP for Windows 7 64 bit installation disc o/s and applications & drivers professional disc which is come with my HP 450 1 ProBook I performed a new installation on this laptop.  It now can not connect to internet for beginners except possibly by dial up which I did not.  Device Manager indicates I have no drivers for 1).   To find the hardware ID, please follow these steps...

  Go to Device Manager and find the device listed as a network controller.

  This must be included in the category other devices , and it will have a small yellow triangle next to him with a! Select this option.

  I recently bought a HP Probook 450 and I'll have a load of trouble installing the drivers. I also bought Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit SP1.

  I chose my laptop since the support section and I downloaded / installed the latest drivers specific for 450 Probook with Win7pro... but none seem to solve the problem. I've reached my limit of patience for this kind of things im asking for help from people wiser than me

  If installation of the Intel graphics driver and restart does not resolve the problem of amd graphics device, then try right-clicking on this device, select uninstall, do not check the box driver uninstall, reboot and see if it gets properly reinstalled.
