  Compaq Presario C720TU Notebook PC comes with Intel ICH8 chipset. System would be able to detect SM Bus controller drivers by installing the chipset of the motherboard drivers. You can find the chipset drivers on the site of the manufacturer in general.

  Can someone help me please. I had to install Windows 7 after a hard disk failure. All my drivers are installed, except one. In my device manager under "Other devices" there is a "network controller" that says that the driver is not installed. It is preventing me to use a Wi - Fi connection. I need emergency driver information. The problem is that when I click on the driver Details it doesn't give me the features on the name, type, or the manufacturer of the 'network controller' so I don't know what to download. All my other network hardware works fine and the drivers are installed successfully.
