• LR 3.3 miniature woes

  Hi all

  Starting yesterday LR looked at showing the same (deleted, actually) image as thumbnail for all THE new pictures that I import. If I go to loupe view in the library mode then the screen still shows the wrong image, and an indication of "loading" - that won't basically anywhere. In develop mode, on the other hand, the "loading" indication is soon replaced by the correct image. I use this method of working to restore the correct for all images image - until I have quit and restart Lightroom, how I will come back to see a single (sometimes different) image displayed as thumbnail for all photos.

  Things are a little more complicated in fact - some images switch to the good tile so I them to scroll in the display of the grid, others not. Some of these happen if a single click them, others not. Weird...

  Any ideas?

  Looks like a corrupted file overview.  Don't worry, it sounds worse than it is!

  Close LR, go find your catalog and rename the Previews.lrdata.  (You can remove it later - I just want to be sure that all your files are available, as if the original has been removed, sometimes the preview is the only version someone has again...)

  Now open LR.  Select everything in the grid view and go to the library menu > overview > rendering previews Standard and allow it to rebuild.  This could take a long time, then you want to let it run all night.  If you have offline files, for example, on an external hard drive which is off, it will not be able to rebuild the preview so that the photo until the player reconnects.

  I want to use my HP PSC 1600 all-in-one printer, but the software disk is for XP.

  I see a complete solution software downloads and driver for XP and Vista only. Thought about trying to install the disc in compatibility and then update.  Would rather download it from the hp site. Can someone help me pin point one to use. Thank you!

• HP PSC 1600: "Remove and check right cartridge" Error Message

  First had error message with a reremplie cartridge.  Could not see something wrong and could not erase message so bought a new cartridge.  It worked once or twice, now have the same message.  I have removed and replaced several times without success.   What I'm looking for? Have turned off printer for days, but when lit, same message comes.  I can't wait to go buy a cartridge if the same thing will happen.

  The printer will print not a WORD doc due to a false paper jam.  It will print a scanned doc that proves that there is no paper jam. The document remains in Quebec, and when I click on the printer icon, and open the folder it says "paper jam".   How can I get the printer to recognize that there is no paper jam?  Operating system is VISTA.

  Try to uninstall and reinstall your software. Before you do, try to restart your computer and try again to print.
