    Hi again,

It is resolved. I was getting an error 0 x 24, which I couldn't see before because the error of the report was disable.

I downloaded the Windows Vista Recovery Disc available [here | http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/] and he picked up the system.

For sure I am now a recovery DVD. I didn't know that this laptop has a system of recovery only inside the HD.

  • Partition recovery & system NB250-108

    Hello!
How can I recover/reinstall the SYSTEM (e) partition on my NB250-108 because I did something stupid and messed up my SYSTEM partition (E :) so that no software resides in this score now.

The information I want is what should be the Partition sizes for the DATA (d) and SYSTETM (e), what software should I have installed under the SYSTEM partition and is at - it all URLS where I can download it from, this software also must be made bootable? (for recovery system etc.).

Please note: I'm still all software should I under the partition DATA (d :)) and its single partition SYSTEM (E :) software missing.) I hope not to have to pay for the recovery DVDs!

Thanks a lot for your help and your suggestions.

No, you can't download the image of Toshiba.
If you want to install the Toshiba Recovery disk image, then you must order the CD from here:
    http://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

Then you would be able to reinstall the image of Toshiba, but for this you will need an external USB CD/DVD drive.

    The other possibility.
You could install a fresh Windows 7 operating system with a USB key.
To do this, you would need something like Wintoflash

Need driver can be downloaded from the Toshiba driver page

  • Update portable drive to SSD, problems with the installation of operating system and recovery system

Compaq Presario CQ71, (model CQ71-317EA) portable system, Windows 7 family 64 - bit edition

Hi, I tried to upgrade the original 320 GB HDD to a 256 GB SSD.

After that replacement of the naked NTFS hard drive to SSD format, I tried to do a "factory restore" using the DVD, I created some time ago about recovery. The DVD started and recovery program ran very well, first menus for recovery/system control etc. The problem is that the program would not be allowed a resumption of the plant as the HDD was little different/more than the installed hard drive to factory.

This is the point I'm stuck at, I reassembled the original hard drive while I find a solution.

Is it possible to find a workaround to avoid having to order a new disc of Windows 7? Any help and advice in terms of simple-ish would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello:

If you can still read all 25 characters of the product key of W7 on the bottom of your laptop, you can make your own plain W7 x 64 Home Premium installation media and use the product key to activate the installation.

Download the applicable version of the W7 from the link below.  Use the SP1 media files regenerate.

Then use this tool to transfer the ISO file downloaded on a key USB 4 GB or DVD.  The tool will make the DVD or drive bootable flash as well.

  • spontaneous recovery system popup

My new ATC Aspire works fine as far as I can tell.  However, when I played a game installed on my C: drive (which I often play), an Acer recovery system is spontaneously popped up. I clicked it, there was a screen that prompted me to OK a factory reset, though I would lose all my C: drive. Of course I cancelled.

For me it seemed to indicate that 1) I had asked this reset, which I did not, or 2) the system has detected a problem that caused the need for the recovery to run system, which I don't think I do since everything works perfectly.

Should I worry about this?  That this has something to do with the fact that I booked 10 Windows?

    kcasey,

I'm sure that this popup tries to remind allows you to create a recovery drive USB Acer factory default.

I strongly encourage you to do so immediately.

I have two TC-605 and my neighbor has a TC-605.  Some TC-605 requires only a 16 GB USB flash drive while others require a 32 GB USB flash drive.  So I would say get a 32 GB USB flash drive.  They are around $9.00 to best buy.

No doubt create a USB key factory default recovery before upgrade you to Windows 10. (And your acer applications and drivers on a backup DVD too)

Edit: If you do not create a backup default factory USB and something breaks down the road, fresh Acer $ 45 to get the default value of the factory recovery disks.

I suggest you visit the link provided below for more information on system recovery option in Windows Vista.

If you are recovering system of built-in hard drive, then you may lose all data on the system but you will not lose the hotmail account as it is stored on the server.

If you are referring to the system restore option then you will lose all data in the system, but you may lose the application that you installed after the date to which you restored the system

For more information about system restore, see the below given link

  • OneKey Recovery System killed my S10-2

My S10 - 2 has been seen frequent random restarts. I thought to use OneKey Recovery System since my file system may be damaged. Unfortunately, the restored process has failed and I had to manually shut down the system.

Now, at the start, I just get a white screen with this message:

"Remove the disks or other media."  Press a key to reboot ".

I can't boot into Windows, or even to re-run the process of OneKey.

is the dead S10? no warranty left.

I should not have used OneKey Recovery System. I was just very frustrated with the random reboots and the thought of all reset the original factory settings and start Win7.  now the S10 has met a premature end.

    Thanks for any advice.

Apparently, onekey recovery system wiped out my existing operating system.

  • P6-2207ep: using recovery system reinstall the original BIOS?

    Hello

I want to do a system restore because WIndows 7 has accumulated a few errors that prevent the use of some programs to me and I was wondering if:

1: the system recovery reinstalls original BIOS or not?

The reason why it is so important for me to know is because I upgraded to a graphics card that required an update of the BIOS, getting only a black screen otherwise...

According to the information on the system recovery it says it will reinstall the hardware drivers, so I expect to include the BIOS but wanted just to be sure...

2 + 3: there is an update of the BIOS for my Windows PC 8 options once installed, it cannot be restored to an earlier version.  System recovery will always be able to rewrite the BIOS for a precedent? If I install this version of the BIOS, it will cause problems for my windows 7 system recovery?

    Thanks for your attention!

    JoaoM

System recovery affects only the contents of the hard drive; It has nothing to do with the BIOS.

  • recovery system after creating a new partition

    Product number: A6Y43UAR #ABA

Name: HP Pavilion g6-1d38dx Notebook PC

    OS: Windows 7 64-bit

My hard drive is shipped with a factory setting of 4 primary partitions. I would like to remove one of the partitions in order to create a new primary partition using this guide (jump to option I content):

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/other-notebook-PC-questions/how-to-REPARTITION-HDD-of-HP-notebook-with-...

My goal is to create a new partition D where I store all my data so that something happened to my operating system that is on the C drive (viruses, etc.), all my data will be safe in the drive D. I hope that running the system recovery HP (using the f11 key) will not remove the user created the D partition and the data in it , but that's where my confusion. The guide above says the following on this subject:

"Remember that if you decide to use the recovery discs or the F11 option to restore the PC to its original state, all partitions that have been created by you will be lost and will also lose all data that was stored on them."

However, another document which is the HP system recovery guide, says the following

Your computer can have three types of available system recovery, or he might have only two. Use the type of recovery in order to solve your problem without making further changes as necessary.

If you don't have 3 options in the recovery then Yes, System Recovery Manager will delete all partitions and restore the original configuration.

To better protect your files an external USB hdd is a good investment of backup. You can also use it to make a System Image of your hard drive that can be used to restore windows and all software/drivers if you need to reinstall. 1 > guide 2 > guide

  • Recovery system or updated on the Satellite A500 - 13 c

Hello I have a problem with my laptop.

I have Toshiba Satellite A500 - 13 c with installed VIsta x 64 system, but my hard drive is broken (repair is uneconomic), so I bought the new HARD disk drive, and I have my question there.

My HARD drive is broken so I didn't drive instalation for my Windows Vista, I have a label with the number Vista system, can I install this system with the other disc DVD with Windows Vista on my laptop?

Or maybe there is a possibility to update my version of Windows Vista to Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, if this is possible without my original Windows Vista installed on my laptop?

Can I update Windows with only the laptop product key?

    > My HARD drive is broken so I didn't drive instalation for my Windows Vista, I have a label with the number Vista system, can I install this system with the other disc DVD with Windows Vista on my laptop?
No, I don't think that this serial key will operate under different Vista installation disc.
He touches s OEM and belongs to the system which is part of the image of Toshiba and usually it will not work with external MS. installation disc

But you can order a recovery disc (if it s not discontinued) which might help you to install the Toshiba on this laptop Satellite A500 image.

The recovery disc can be ordered from Arvato:

Can not open a windows session more to reinstall. This laptop is four and a half years. Did anyone have a recovery cd English to share? Thank you. Olivier

    [Edited by: admin August 23 05 20:34]

    Hi olivier,.

Assuming that the recovery CD that you got is the right one for your laptop model, you should be able to restore your system to its original (German) State, you must appreciate that the keyboard will be the British version rather than the Germany.

To use the recovery CD, you must start the laptop while holding down "C" on your keyboard until you hear beeps. It is a Toshiba provided shortcut to allow you to boot from the CD-ROM. obviously you need the recovery CD inserted when you do this.

Then follow the on-screen instructions to completely reinstall your system.

You can find that software is missing after installation is complete. Toshiba sometimes shipped Bundle software on its own CD and if you don't have these then the software will be missing. However, you can download most of the tools and utilities on the site of Toshiba Europe.

    Good luck
