  I'm seriously upset. I got hp slate 7 my mother for my daughter. Had it for about a week and then out of nowhere it won't turn or he'll tell me if he is in charge when I plugged it in.   Thanks for the update on the issue.  I'm glad to hear the team home and Home Office strives to find you a Slate 7 to buy.  Sometimes a phone call is the easiest way at the end, but am glad that you posted here on the forums of your experience.  It sheds light on the issue and gives a work around for the future customers of the Ireland who may be looking for this product until the retailers in this area begin to store the product.

• doubt on my hp slate voice calls 6 tab

  I bought a HP Slate 6 tab in October. I use it regularly since then. The end I notice one thing, especially when the battery is very low (when it shows red). When I connect a charger to charge it shows no "load" at all! Then I put out of service and it is connected to the charger, it shows in the State that it is charging.then with the charger connected, I pass on the tab and it continues to show that he is in charge (I'm afraid that there is a fault) if someone in the forum can shed some light?

  Hard to beat the x220t with OneNote. I print my PDF and PP course for OneNote notes. Then you are free to write anywhere and type anywhere. In addition, it is nice to have a keyboard that is available with a quick touch. Battery life would be comparable. I ezpdf on Slate and works well, it takes a few steps to write each time. If you are looking for a serious productivity machine, the slate is not quite there yet

  Slate Pro 8 ready article I just check and see the same thing: after update KitKat, the (Stock) AOSPS browser is gone!

  Googling the subject confirms the fact that this is the result of the upgrade.

  There are sites that offer instructions on how to install the old browser supposedly, but you use them at your own risk!

  There are many free browsers available for download in the game store if you do not like Chrome...

  I don't see the two apps Camera too!  Curious...

  A month ago, I bought the HP slate 6. The screen does not light by pressing the single time power button. But if I press the power button three times, then it lights. I also make sure that the switch has no problem. I think it's a software problem not hardware.

  Do not forget that I have improved my slate to kitkat. This problem alone caught up in not before Kitkat.

  The battery on my slate 8 Pro drains 20-30% every 12 hours, even when it is not used.  I thought maybe it was due to some applications that I had loaded, so I factory reset it and I loaded only the builtin Mail (check schedule) and a couple of new apps.  When I left the House this morning, this is 95%, when I got home tonight, it's 65 percent.  Under the battery, it will appear at the top and then WiFi.  I have a good wifi signal throughout.

  Other than the most minimal config, this is a stock version - characterizes this type of performance?  Another my tablet is an older iPad, so I'm surprised that it far surpasses this slate on battery.

  Just to follow up - I reset and only set up the email.  So far so good - I estimate draining the battery is less than 5% per day at rest.
