  After an unsuccessful attempt of my parents to install a photosmart printer 5510 on their acer aspire 7741-6426 laptop with Windows 7 OS. I uninstalled both the printer and the software that goes with it by using the uninstall tool, each is came up with, then used the windows installer to remove the update from hp and a help which have been posted in the window file programs and features. after reboot I was greeted with a window "RunDLL" declaring "There was a problem starting C:\Program HP Photosmart HP 5510 series\bin\HPStatusBL.dll" I ran since the removal tool for all in one printers (gr_uninst.exe) 4 times. error continues. Although I intend to reinstall this printer I would like to start with a clean slate.

  I have windows vista and I recently upgraded Java 6 update 23 and my program mp3 Rocket quit working, he kept sayingnot to access c libmp3Rocket jar, so I tried to uninstall the update of java, but when I click on uninstall it says preparing to remove, but then the account control user box pop up to ask if I leave this program not identified to my computer and I click on access to the so then he says to it you please wait while Windows configures java, but its only up there for a second and then the box disappears, and then the update is still there, nothing happened.  I went to the site of java to check my java version and have downloaded the update of java 6 22, but he always says that something is wrong. Java does not work.  And I tried to open mp3 rocket after java 6 update 22 d/l would be and now, nothing happened, is no longer, box pops up saying cannot access c, but the program does not come either.  Does anyone know how can I get rid of the update of java 6 23, I think that's the problem, but it just will not, uninstall I think I need strength somehow remove it.

  and click on the Red help button now great.  Ask for help to uninstall manually.

• Caftor Adom put a red button next to my toolbar. Please help me to remove it.

  Caftor Adom seems to be an organization in Israel that resembles the document web sites that encourage violence. Somehow, I have responded to some sort of message on their part and they added a red button under the "Open Menu" icon in my toolbar. I would like to get rid of him but I can't figure out how. If I click on the red button, they bring a window that asks me to make a comment and add some sort of code for something on the website violent that I entered the document. And then I'm supposed to pass. I sent emails and obviously non-violent web sites, including their own, asking them to help me remove the red button. I got no response. It's on the window of Mozilla so I hope you can help me to delete. It just seems to be a nuisance, and you never know. I will include a screenshot that shows that the button is outside the area dotted line put you aside for adding features to the toolbar.

  I'm the one who asked the question above on the red button of Caftor Adom. The problem has been resolved by updating to Firefox. I forget exactly what the web site inspired me to try it, but it worked.

• Satellite C660 - BIOS Update Failed, need help restore the BIOS. BAK file

  Everything by updating the system BIOS froze in step 7 to replace the code of the BIOS, needless to say that the laptop does not start because the BIOS is now corrupted.

  I have the BIOS. BAK but need advice on how to restore the BIOS. I copied the BIOS. BAK on a key usb and it connected to the laptop computer and then powered on the system (now I tried the F, F2 key together). I can see the usb key will Flash initially but is not, clearly, progressing with the restoration.

  I hope someone might be able to advise the use of the BIOS. BAK file to restore the BIOS.

  Hi hope someone can help! my computer is old w/decrease storage and OE inbox has suddenly lost most of the emails. I know the old routine in what concerns the use of the .bak folder in the trash, but I did not!  I see the huge dbx file, but I can't restore it.   A new computer into a XP machine? Right-click on the old Inbox.dbx file and drag it to a flash drive, choose copy here. Drag it from the flash player on the desktop of the other machine and then right-click | Properties and make sure it is not set to read only. Run DBXpress on the record.

  I'm guessing that you're referring to a problem involving the Security Center that happens sometimes after update silent through updates of Windows to the new version of MSE... but it is also sometimes occurring after the updates of Windows 'monthly '.  Usually, but not always the problem occurs on computers running XP.

  If the MSE icon is green then you should be protected and cannot ignore this Security Center warning. The problem resolves after a few days.   I do not pretend you disable the protection in real time on MSE, disable Security Center, restart the computer and then turn everything back on and restart once more... some users report this sequence fixed the problem.

  This occurs if the Microsoft HTML Help control is blocked (probably by a Microsoft Update) by defining a "Kill bit" in the registry. To resolve the problem, upgrade to Service Pack 3 , which publishes an updated version of the hhctrl.ocx control.

  I suggest you try the methods below.

  Method 1: Since the problem started recently, try to perform the system restore.

  Method 2: Uninstall the driver from Device Manager video card and reinstall it.

  Steps to uninstall from Device Manager:
  a. click Start > click run.
  b. type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.
  c. now locate card video/display adapter and right-click on > selectUninstall.
  d. restart the computer this should install it the appropriate drivers for it. You can also download the latest version of windows XP drivers from the manufacturer's Web site and install it.
