• Remove the slate support 21

  I'm trying to remove the sand of my 21 slate to fit a wall mounting bracket. I removed the two screws according to the manual, but not the wil stand out. I applied a reasonable amount of pressure but don't want to damage the slate.

  Is there something that I am missing, or should he just lift?

  Hello boneybear.

  From my experience, you will need to pull firmly. I suggest to do this way:

  1. Place slate upside down on a soft surface to the top of the computer to you.
  2. Since you already have the removed screws, lift the support bracket with one hand, place the other hand against the back of the computer.
  3. Pull the stand up well clear.

• Get electric shocks when the new load slate 7

  Hi all

  My gf just got me a slate of new 7 for Christmas and when I load it with oem charger and cable I get electric shocks of metal run the Tablet when you plug in the charger.

  I tried to connect a support ticket but my warranty is valid and my support has expired so I was not allowed to post hp.

  First hp unit, extremely not impressed by taking in charge and produced so far, how can I contact someone?

  If the slate is new it has a one year warranty. Go to the web for the 7 slate support portal and click the Contact HP link. Choose one of the means of contact on the web page.

  You are right, that the CPU will not support it little matters not matter what OS you are using.

  Hi AnirudhS, welcome to the Forums of HP. Unfortunately the 7 VoiceTab slate is not compatible USB OTG. The section "Input / Output" This shows in the HP Slate 7 VoiceTab Product Specifications

  Mouse and keyboard Bluetooth 3.0 should function properly.

  To install apps on an SD card, you must find a compatible 3rd party app to enable this.

  It's amazing the number of negative threads I have seen/created myself regarding slate TPT and Lenovo has not yet responded to any of them.

  I never thought I'd be THAT disappointed by Lenovo. You guys have always exceeded my expectations, but when it comes to slate TPT, you fell below my same my low standards.

  As mentioned in the thread "how to save this product", many of these problems can be solved, leaving only the development community to participate in debugging, testing and improving the existing code for these devices. More and more every day, I see devices are victims of erroneous code, incorrect test and other factors which can be corrected by the presence of many developers working on a device not just a few. Every forum I visit has the same problem. But guess what Lenovo, those who have a community of development behind them, problems and their resolution are less likely to have complainants or bad taste and the apparatus or the company that makes them.

  I find it funny that someone said to the OP, F - U on facebook because it's the holidays. Today its Christmas, next week's new year, the week after something else. Soon, the new Chinese year and who knows what else. These developers will never work on the device?

  Provide the community of development with the keys and see things quick how to turn for the better.

• How will I know if an iOS app is supported in split mode?

  I currently own an iPad mini 1st generation 64 GB, black and slate, iOS 9.3.1 Wi - Fi only model. I intend to switch to a 9.7 inch Pro iPad or an iPad mini 4. One of the features that I'm looking forward is the split view feature. Is there a way I can look in the App Store to see if the application supports the split view. The app I'd use mode split the most is the YouTube app.

  You can plug the charger into another near the unit (preferably a Tablet)?  There is no charge?

  Y at - it no looseness, damage or missing pieces in the USB port on the 10 slate?

  Have you tried a different plug ("hands")?  You have powered Tablet/off voltage?

  Difficult to solve the same problem across your computer screen!  ;-)

• HP Slate 7 broken charging Port

  If my son said his HP Slate would not charge.  Everything by looking at a piece fell to the port of loading.  I checked with a local repair and they wanted to charge me $134.00 to fix, I do not.  Someone at - it any other suggestions?
