• Smart printing for IE?

  Seriously?  You made that Smart Print for work with Internet Explorer?  After learning and download Smart Print, I couldn't understand why I couldn't find the icon to use.  After reviewing the support, I learned that it only works with IE.  Who uses IE more?  I use Chrome and usually use Firefox.  I don't know anyone who likes or using IE.  Can't make you this program work with Chrome?

  Just updated IE9 browser and noticed that there is no option 'Save as pdf' Smart for IE9 catalog as it was in older versions of smart Web printing for the IE8 and other earlier versions?

  Are there ' work around ' way, apart from the "Print Screen" heavier and HP approach will add back this feature is very handy in the future upgrades?

  I honestly always preferred Google Chrome IE, just for compatibility and ease of use of the browser.

  Just to tell you, SWP is a program that was written for IE8, but has been made compatible with IE9 which led some of the lost features crash. The feature can be added in the future, but I can't put a time table on when this feature will be added. Is there a specific task you want to accomplish that I might be able to give a more appropriate work around?

  I have included the link to the living progress Eco Solutions - smart printing to HP from HP web page.  Please note that the said Note 1 "requires the latest versions of Microsoft® Internet Explorer® and Mozilla® Firefox®.

  The button "learn more" on the page will take you to the HP Smart Print home page where you can download Smart print HP if you want.

  The Safari 'Print Plus' extension mimics the selection of smart printing features.

  You can install the extension by visiting the Safari extensions, then pick up the productivity.

  Don't forget, this is a third-party application, so no problems with it would be very likely directed to the Apple forum.

• Good unit test for HP Smart Printing

  When trying to print http://models2014.webs.upv.es/schedule.htm without smart printing, a single table shows, and all other pages are empty.

  Smart printing but also has problems with this page, not being able to print a part of the text below the second table.

  With some difficulty, you can select all the text, but it prints up on 'Session 9' and leaves two pages empty.

  While I recognize that this Web page is built quite strangely (absolute positioning of points throughout the page), I think it may be a good test for the team Smart Printing scenario.

  In case it's relevant: Smart Print v2.6, IE 11, W7x64.

  I understand that you have this page as a test case, and I appreciated that!  I wonder if you have tried to use Google Chrome HP Smart printing on this page?  Technically, HP Smart printing is compatible only with IE 9 and 10 and Google Chrome - chrome is the browser for the support in the future (at least this is what I've heard).  I was wondering if you get better results using Chrome.  Just a thought.

  I run the 32-bit version of IE9 in Windows7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have version 1.0.9.0 HP Smart printing (I appears in "Programs and features".) I went to the website of seb and ran the activation and he succeeded. The HP bing toolbar appears, but none touch Smart Print. HP Bingbar has 'HP Deals', "HP Advisor", Snapfish by HP', 'HP Games' and 'Learn to HP' buttons.

  Advice or tips to implement and push HP Smart Web Printing for a company?  Can it be pushed to all employees of the company by IT?  If so, are there detailed instructions for this type of deployment?

  You need to install it manually on every PC. SWP is for home use, and there is no option to install it for a company.

• HP Smart Print 2.1 and IE10 does not

  Currently have Windows 7 (x 64) SP1 home edition.  Recently updated IE9, IE10 for Windows 7 (without contact).  My HP Smart Print 2.1 worked perfectly in IE9.  It stop working when I upgraded to IE10.  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times HP Smart Print 2.1.

  In IE10, I get more HP Smart Print 2.1 control unit features after you have clicked the button of 2.1 to start HP Smart printing.  All I get is a transparent screen as if it tries to start, but not of buttons to use the program.  Anyone else having issues with IE10 and is there a solution to solve the problem?

  HPSPSetup.msi puts a little button in the toolbar small where the buttons home and printing, security and tools Page.  I spent ages writing an update self critical, but lost that when I wanted to prove Smart Print worked when I pressed this button.

  Not longer after IE9:

  HP Smart Web Printing supports 32-bit versions of IE 6 to 8. HP always supports the HP Smart Web Printing Software. You can still use the 32-bit IE 6 to 8 program, but are no longer available for download.

• How to remove an incompatiable extension from your computer that has been disabled by Firefox (Smart Printing button 1.0), but don't find it on the hard drive?

  I was cleaning my Add-ons, etc and noticed that extension, Smart Printing button 1.0 is disabled b/c, it is not compatible with my current version of FF 18.0.1, why not uninstall and go? I looked for answers on how to do it, but come up empty. I searched my C drive for the HP, print Web program (such as suggested by the forums HP) and found nada, I think I might have deleted (not uninstalled correctly) as I felt as I didn't need and now the extension. How can I remove the extension of Smart Printing button 1.0 on the list of Firefox extensions in the current situation?

  You're right, it seems that they removed as well as the link.

  After some additional research I also found this document; HP Printing Products - HP Smart Web Printing Software replaced by HP Smart print.

  It will guide you through uninstalling the old HP Smart Web Printing Software and has a new link to download HP Smart printing.
