HP Solution Center cannot run

I'm used to be able to scan by going to the HP Solution Center on my laptop computer and direct the printer to scan.  All of a sudden I get a message "HP Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete," How can I get this fixed?

Hey, no problem that's why I'm here.

Steps to follow:

1. go to the start menu

2. Select all programs

3. find the HP folder

4. choose HP photo file in the folder "HP".

5. then select uninstall

6. go through the process of uninstalling the software

7. it should ask you to reboot the laptop

8. after starting the laptop back up go to thislink.

9 install the drivers on this page. You must click Download and save the installation on your desktop.

10. once the download is completed you can access it from your desktop. Double-click the icon.

11. the installation should appear and proceed with the download.

If you have any questions during the download, let me know.

  • Solution Center cannot be found. Install from a valid copy of the installation package

    Original title: "Solution Center"

I'm having a problem with the Solution Center, and this window pop up on the screen says it is impossible to find and install from a valid copy of the installion package. I have not all copies of the operating system. The computer came loaded with all that.

    What can I do?

It is built into the operating system. There is no separate download or the available installation option.  I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the computer for a set of recovery disc (for a small fee) and with those, you should be able to re - install Vista back to the center of Solution - or maybe they will sell you a copy cheap real Installation of Vista disc.  Remember using recovery discs is as a new installation, so you need to back up everything that you want to save (your data at least) that the process will wipe the drive clean of everything.  An image backup will not help as it will scan the newly installed Solution Center when it restores.  You may be able to make your own disks if you have a recovery Partition - ask the manufacturer to this topic too and how to do it if possible.

Another option is to borrow a disk for Installation of Vista genuine in the same size of the bit and use it to make a repair/update that will preserve your data, programs and settings (a MUCH better option if you can borrow a disk from anyone or get a good price from the manufacturer, if they even offer it).  He will know the correct version of the product key.  Then make a copy for yourself 'for next time"because they are not protected against copying.

You can reach the center of online solutions to the: http://support.microsoft.com/ph/11732#tab0.  It is not exactly the same as installed with Vista, but it doesn't do a good job and can serve your needs if you don't like or are not alternatives.

Here is the Microsoft policy on the replacement of the software; http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246 which is essentially what I said just above (and some additional information).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck.

  • Suddenly won't scan hp 8600 function, and the hp Solution Center does not connect?

I have been regularly using scanning, copying and printing to my HP 8600 printer features 4/1. All of a sudden when I click on the printer icon only functions of the printer are listed. When I click on the HP Solutions Center (which I have not had to do was s/u w / a previous printer) the message says: HP Solution Center cannot run b/c your device installation is not complete. PLS, connect the cable usb or re - run the Setup program from the installation to a network installation CD. If this does not work...

I insert the CD, re-directed the s/u and nothing has changed. Please notify.

    HP 4/1 8600

    Windows 7

I see that you have had previous HP products, Katharine. I'm glad to know that you have the software installed for the 8600 with success now.

However, the center of Solution software you used with the previous units is more used to the 8600. The software installed for the 8600 should have placed an icon that resembles the printer with the name of the printer it labeling on your desktop. This icon opens the wizard of HP printer with options to control the printer.

  • OfficeJet 4500 G510n Solution: Officejet 4500 G510n Solution Center error

Solution Center has scan well under Windows 7 home.

After the upgrade to Windows 10 error message "HP solution Center cannot run because your installation of the device is not complete."

went to HP Support installed new software page but keep the same condition.

    Hello!
Welcome to the HP community @Josepr,

I read about the problems of scanning you have faced after the upgrade to Windows 10 and I wanted to answer to help with my own suggestions.

First step: clean boot, restart the PC and try the install again.

    1. start by typing "msconfig" in the search box of Cortana, and then click MSConfig (run command)
On your keyboard press Windows + R key at same time and type Msconfig in the run window, and then click OK or press ENTER.

    2. now, choose Selective startup

    3. Remove the check of the Load Startup items

    4. click on the Services tab

    5. check "hide all Microsoft Services" and then click on disable all

    6. click apply , then OK

7 restart the PC and temporarily disable firewalls or antivirus programs

8 run the Installation Wizard for Windows HP printer to install the printer

9 turn on the firewall and start services

Second step: you unregister and re-register the Windows Installer Service:

    1. hold down the Windows key + R to fill the box "Run" and type cmd.exe, and then click OK.
    2. at the command prompt, type msiexec /Unregister , and then press ENTER.
    3. at the command prompt, type msiexec/regserver, and then press ENTER.
    4. at the command prompt, type exit and press ENTER to close the command prompt.
    5. run the Wizard for Windows HP printer installation

Step 3: run System File Checker Scan (up to 3 times) to repair the corrupted system files:
    1. go to start
    2. type CMD
3 right-click and run as administrator
    4. to check and repair the OS type sfc/scannow (note the space between sfc and ' / ')

You may need to run this upward to 3 times to solve all the problems

When finished, it will say one of three things
Windows did not find any breach of integrity (a good thing)
Windows resource protection found corrupt files and repair the (good)
Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some (or all) of them (not a good thing)

    Try to reinstall the printer.

Step 4: activate the built-in Windows administrator account

    source

    1. first of all, you'll need to open an administrator mode command prompt by right-clicking and choosing "run as Administrator" (or use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Enter in the search box).

Note that it works the same in all versions of Windows. It just search for cmd and then do a right-click on the icon of the command prompt in the start menu or the boot screen.

    2. If you are in Windows 8.x or 10 you can click on the Start button and choose to open a command prompt in this way.

    3. now type the following command:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes

    4. you should see a message that the command completed successfully. Log out, and you will now see the administrator as a choice account.

You will notice that there is no password for this account, so if you want to leave it enabled, you must change the password.

    Try to reinstall the printer.

  • Photosmart 2575: HP Solution Center does not work

I recently got a new PC with Windows 8.1.
After installation of my printer HP 2575 (purchased in 2006) with the Setup file recommended AIO_CDB_2570_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 4.exe I discovered that the HP Solution Center did not work.
I received the message that the printer was not found.
But printing works perfectly, so that the part of the installation was successful.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer in many ways, including:
-Uninstall using Uninstall_L1.bat, Uninstall_L2.bat, Uninstall_L3.bat, with reboot between the two.
-Installation of the printer driver just in a first time, then installation of the center of HP solutions after reboot.
The result net is now HP Solution Center shows "HP Solution Center cannot start because your device is incomplete." When I try to start it (so it's even worse than before).
V4.7.0.29 HPPSdr.exe print and Scan doctor says, "a later version of the program is available for this product.
When I use HPSupportSolutionsFramework - 11.51.0049.msi to identify the right driver, I get the same AIO_CDB_2570_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 4.exe driver file that I have already installed.
Let HPPSdr.exe begins to extract what he considers the right driver gives the file AIO_CDB_2570_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 4.exe I already downloaded.
I have not actually tried to use the downloaded file, because the download crashed when only a few MB left.

    @Carl-H,

    Welcome to the HP community!

I will do my best to make some useful suggestions in order to get the Solution Center installed and running on your system Windows 8.1. Please first test best in the printer, as this will show us if there are hardware problems, what could be the cause of all the failures of software.

If copies seem to be working, try the following steps:

    1. perform a clean boot, restart the PC and try to run the installation.

    2. use the tool File Checker system for lack of repair or corrupt system files , run the scan to find the files corrupted on your computer. You can run the scan up to three times to see if he'll get all the bugs.

3 cancel the registration and re - register the Microsoft Windows Installer service:
    1. click on the Start menu and type "cmd" in the search field and press ENTER.
2 type "msiexec /Unregister" and then press ENTER.
    3. Type "msiexec/regserver" and then press ENTER.
4 reboot your PC and try the install again.

    4. create a new profile user account with administrative privileges on your PC and run the Setup from there to see if it is correctly executed.

Let me know the results, good luck

  • HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m: HP Solution Center

I have had this printer for some time, but in the last 6 months or so when I try to open the HP Solution Center, I get a window with the following message: "HP Solution Center cannot be run because your installation of the device is not complete.  Please connect the USB cable or re-run the Setup program from the installation to a network installation CD.  If it does not complete the installation, or you do not have the CD, access the HP help files by clicking on the start menu. "This message and Solution Center is inaccessible without apparent reason.  I not unhooked and reinstalled the full set of software from the original CD, and it seems to work very well until what it is not.  I'm running on a Dell with Windows 7 Home Premium laptop.  Is there a patch I need to install or an updated version of the software available for download and installation?

Installation was completed according to the instructions.  I'll see if this corrects the problem, but it may take a while for the problem with the solution to appear again HP Center.

  • HP photosmart C4780: Hp Solution Center

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and now I can not scan from my computor using HP solution center app as before in windows 7. I tried several times following the instructions from HP. A problem in trying to uninstall the existing software, it will not be completed. When I try the solution Center HP it says that the software did not complete the installation. What is a windows problem or HP?

    @Research1,
    Welcome to the HP community!

I hope I can help you with the problem you're faced with uninstall and install your Photosmart C4780 on Windows 10, such that the software displays an error message indicating something of the order of "HP Solution Center cannot work because your installation of the device is not complete." Here are my ideas for you to try!

    #1

    • Perform a level 3 uninstall if you have an HP computer or a level 4 uninstall if you have a computer not HP.

    1. click on start and type %temp%, enforcement

    2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356) (if there is more than one, choose the most recent folder)

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. If you have an HP computer, run L3uninstall.exe (or the .bat file). If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

    8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads .html

9 download drivers and full software functionality again, or run the HP printer install Windows Wizard to install the printer

    10. run the download to reinstall the printer and try to open again the HP software

    #2

Run the print and scan the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all the conflicts that could be the cause of the problem and are working on fixing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

    #3

Scan a System File Checker to repair corrupt files sytem: run the command SFC to repair system files

    #4

Run a disk check: running CHKDSK in Windows 10

I can't wait to hear the result on your part, and I hope that my ideas are useful!
