  I have a 8570W with ordiginal of ram 4 GB 1.5V. I've just updated my 8570w with more than 4 GB (4 GB 1.35v micron technology). Now laptop may still works fine, but I wonder to work for a long time (to come): is there a risk to my systerm when I use 2 cylinders with 2 different voltage like that?

  I bought an old 600th latter-day for my parents. The model is a 4Ax (PII 366 Mhz, 64 Ram). I wanted to upgrade the RAM, so I had 128 x 2 SODIMM PC100 (total 256). I know that the motherboard only the 66 PC but I found on some forums that some guys could use this kind of module with PC100 SODIMM.

  The problem is: my motherboard uses only 160 RAM (32 on board and 128 RAM.)

  I wanted to use all the RAM (288 RAM or less 266), but the motherboard uses only 160.

  The bios is the last update (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=DSHY-46HLKQ).

  When I open the Config in the menu of the Bios, the motherboard recognizes 288 RAM, but it uses only 160.

  I also know that I can disable the memory embedded 32 if I open (with Ctrl + D), CMOS editor and I change the values of bytes of 2b (between 80 and 81). In this case, I had less memory: 128 RAM.

  How can I make a change in this editor (a few changes of byte values) to use all the RAM (288 or 256 RAM)?

  I upgraded my with two cards of pc100 256 MB of edge tech Corp., I had to also disable the ram internal. They stock it and works very well. just follow the prompts for your machine and go from there. made a big difference in performance.

• How can I update my processing power/RAM on my MacBook Pro 2013?

  Let me preface this by saying I know almost nothing about computers so please excuse my terminology.

  I have a screen Retina 13 '' MacBook Pro that I bought in 2014 (I think it was the 2013 model). At the time, I didn't need a lot of storage so I bought the less option (8 GB perhaps?).   Your options are limited. You cannot upgrade RAM or CPU. Theoretically, you could install more storage, but I don't think that's worth it. Given the software that depend on you, I sell the MBP and buy something bigger and faster (not necessarily a Mac).

  I say 8 gigs. 16 could work, but I wouldn't risk it since the essential will not guarantee compatibility.

  If you find a provider memory ready to ensure 16 concerts will work, then I would buy it.

  Hello. I've always wanted to upgrade a PC and recently I bought this HP 550-153W office at a good price. I've already updated the 16 GB RAM and I want to put a good graphics on this card. However, I'm not that tech savy.

  The computer that you only comes with a power supply 180W, as you say that needs to be changed.

  The motherboard has a port of Gen 3.0 PCIe x 16. It's more the command type for current video cards.

  As an employee of HP I can't suggest a card.  But I can suggest you do a google search for the reference of the video card.  Look for the top four in your price range.  Then, look at plug for power and size.  for example you can not hold a card 10 "in a conflict with the memory module.

  Unfortunately the graphic card cannot be updated. Buy more RAM is a good idea.
  The maximum memory that your device can handle with is 1024 MB. Compatible memory module are:

  I have a Toshiba Satellite L30-113 and I am very happy with the way it looks and works. I managed to update the 3 GB RAM, the processor is in a pretty good shape, although it is only 1.7 GHz.

  Now, my only problem is that the video card, the laptop is equipped with (ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 M) is quite low. You have an idea on which other (preferably better) video cards is compatible with the Satellite L30 - 113 default installation?

  Speaking of GPU Generly cannot be upgraded on laptops. Due to the specific design and cooling with limited cooling performance, it cannot be done.
