HP t3785 2 gb ddr2?
Then. I have a HP Pavilion t3785.it (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00871428) desktop computer and I don't know if I can put a 2 GB memory card... I don't know if she can deal with or support such a memory... Can someone help me? Or I put 4 1 GB cards? Now, I have 2, with 1 GB and the second with 512 MB...
If you are using a 32-bit OS 4 GB is the maximum of usable memory. Your PC specifies 1 GB dimms. Buy a pair (together) of 1 GB memory DIMMS to increase 3.5 GB total memory.

I have an iMac 24 "Early 2008 OSX 10.8.5... 30.6 GHz processor Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory and 1 t HD. Can I upgrade the processor speed and if so what. Can I upgrade the memory and if so what. I launched iPhoto ' 08 7.14. Any input would be great. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
You can actually move the ram to 6 GB.
Hello, I am new to the forum.
Anyone know if it is possible to use DDR2 800 to replace the old 667?
The bus of the motherboard also goes to 800.
It makes no sense to use modules more rapid if the chipset would not support the front end of 800 MHz bus speed the FSB could slow down the speed of the memory at the same speed that is supported by front side bus.
I recommend you chipset. Then you will know, what the FSB speed is supported.
If the FSB would be favourable to 800 Mhz, you can use these modules.
Please I want to know is my [toshiba a200-10w | CT_ID 127560 = http://gulf.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?LNG=13&service=AE&PRODU & DISC_MODEL = 1] supports RAM DDR2 PC2-6400 memory, because I need to update my ram but all what I found on the market is DDR2 PC2-6400.
I already had 1 module 2 GB DDR2 PC2-5300 installed, so if I get 2 GB DDR2 PC2-6400, it will run or not?
And if it will work the feature dual channel will be work?
On the HARD disk, what is the maximum capacity of the HARD drive that I cannot in stall in the same model because I have 1 TB, so it will work?
PS: my OS is windows 7 Professional...
Thanks a lot guys...
The laptop supports Intel® 945 GM chipset.
This chipset supporting 533 MHz max.
So if you plug in modules of memory 667 MHz, the system would still works at 533 MHz.
The modules are DDR2 so I put t see any reasons why the dual channel does not work in your case.
> On the HARD disk, what is the maximum capacity of the HARD drive that I cannot in stall in the same model because I have 1 TB, so it will work?
Laptop supports the SATA interface. The SATA controller has no limitation to the size of the HARD drive, so, theoretically, you should be able to use this large HDD but to be honest; I've never used this large HDD. The largest that I used in by cell phone was 500 GB and it was big enough.
However, you will need to test b e100% sure.
How many slots for ddr2 in my M100-221 notebooks? And where I get instruction to change memory?
Sorry, but I really can't understand you. On the low side in the Middle it is placed memory fixed with a screw cover. Is it so complicated to remove this screw and look inside?
In any case in your unit there are 2 slots available. Memory upgrade you need not all the manuals. Buy the right compatible memory module, remove the cover and put it in the location empty.
Hello dear experts,
At the moment, I have 2 x 1 GB Samsung installed DDR2 of memory 667 Mhz strips.
I would like to extend the 4 GB RAM so I bought Kingston DDR2 667 MHz 2 x 2 GB KVR667D2S5 / 2G modules.
But the computer is not started.
It does not start with the single module or with two modules are installed.
If I install set of Samsung 1x1GB + Kingston 1x2Go, computer starts, but Widnows 7 32 bit see only 1 GB of RAM.
If I update the BIOS, will it work?
Or any suggetions?
Thanks a lot guys!
In my opinion it has nothing to do with the BIOS update. It's the compatibility issue.
As you already know that your laptop can be upgraded up to 4 GB and you use 2 x 2 GB modules.
2 GB compatible RAM has PA3513U-1M2G part number.
I checked the page Kingston and memory module with KTT667D2 part number / 2G is listed as compatible for your Satellite U300 - 13 M.
You can check it out here.
Among the most reliable information in my pc/laptop software it seems that Toshiba u400 can manage DDR3 and DDR2, see the image >
I just want to know if someone is using DDR3 in toshiba u400, because as I see it seems to work...?
What you see is info given by the third party software.
The question is: are the upgrade info and can be trusted?
In my opinion, you should follow start instructions given by the manufacturer.
What U400 do you have exactly?
I have a Satellite Pro M70 (model PSM76E-00500KEN) with 512 MB of RAM in a housing and want to upgrade to 1 GB or more. I plan to put a 1 GB module in the slot to spare, but reading that there is sometimes a performance advantage of the installation of modules of DDR2 in pairs. Can someone tell me if there is any advantage to have the correspondence of the modules into the two slots of the Satellite Pro M70? Or, in other words, is there any reason not to run 1 GB in a slot and 512 MB in the other?
Dual channel DDR involves the use of memory modules DDR 2 to double bandwidth memory. The memory modules DDR themselves are no different. The only requirement is that the controller memory on the motherboard supports this interface dual channel.

I have a Qosmio G30 102 and I wanted to spend my RAM to a total of 4 GB (currently I have 2 GB installed with specifications of a PC2 - 4300 DDR2 (533 MHz)). So I searched for RAM, and I wanted to know it would be possible for me to install.
* Kingston Technology - memory 2 GB PC2 5300 667 MHz 200pin SODIMM DDR2 *. Would it work properly and if so it would be better than doing a (* 1 GB) memory PC2 - 4300 DDR2 (533 MHz) * the standard RAM installed on my Qosmio?
Thanks in advance for the answers of th
To upgrade RAM on my laptop, I used Kingston DDR2-667, and it works without any problems! :)
Thus, you can use this module Kingston too but I guess that it runs only on due speed 533 MHz FSB of the processor limitation. You can check with a tool of information material such as Everest or PC Wizard 2008 for example the speed of the FSB.
As far as I know, the laptop can be upgraded to 4 GB maximum RAM.
Anyone know if my X 200 - 21U Satego really suports memory DDR2 800? In the site of the shop I bought my laptop, there is a possibility to install 4096 MB DDR2 (2 x 2 048) 800 MHz. Is this possible or just a scam or a mistake of the shop? What happens if it doesn\t support and I install anyway?
After the price, there is a list of "options" it's option 5.
Well, I think it should work!
The week last Ibought approximately 4 GB of memory for my X 200 - 21U of OCZ:
And in my laptop, it works fine!

Is PA3512U - 1M1G 1 GB memory PC2 DDR2 (667 MHz), RoHS compliance version compatible with TOSHIBA SATELLITE A100-847?
Please visit the page European Toshiba under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Products > Options & accessories
It has listed all the compatible memory modules for your laptop model Satellite A100.
By the way: as far as I know all the compatible memory modules are 533 MHz module.
I would like to buy laptop A100-906. It has 1024 MB DDR2 memory 533mGz but I want to raise DDR2 memory up to 2 GB. So my question is:
These 1024Mo 1024Mo DDR2 single plate in a DDR2 slot and the second DDR2 slot is empty or they are two 512Mb DDR2 plates and two DDR2 slots are busy?
To my knowledge the laptop was shipped with a 1 024 MB module and the second Bank is free.
He has no problem with a 2048 MB memory upgrade
I just bought a NB505-N500BL.
I checked the label of netbook, and it doesn't have a D3.
The module of memory installed is a Hynix 1 gb 2Rx16 PC2 - 6400 S-666-12.
What is DDR2 or DDR3.
The guy at Best Buy told me to replace it with DDR3, but they had not at that time here.
I read that some come with DDR3 others not and I want to make sure that I get good memory.
Hynix 1 gb 2Rx16 PC2 - 6400 S-666-12 is the DDR2 module.
But as far as I know this laptop supports a single memory so you will need to take the old module and will need to insert another module.
But I put t see no big reasons to replace the memory.
OK, if you want to upgrade the memory up to 2 GB of RAM, so it would be to buy modules such as:
Toshiba 2GB PC2 - 6400 DDR2 - 800 MHz Module
Kingston KTT800D2 / 2G 2GB 800 MHz Module
Here is a piece of hardware specifications:

Does anyone know Satellite L30 does support two mode because I've got 2x256MB and a 512 MB all Micron MT modules?
Of course, the Satellite L30-134 supports DDR2 memory modules.
I found a few listed on the Option & Accessories site of Toshiba Europe site:
What are supported:
DDR2 400/533 256 MB (PA3389U - 1 M 25)
512 MB DDR2-400/533 (PA3412U - 1 M 51)
1 GB OF DDR2 400/533 (PA3411U-1M1G)
My I Mac computer is older than 6 years and became slower and slower. I added the memory once in the past which has contributed to the speed. He was clocked at 2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo for a processor and memory is 4 GB 800 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. I wonder if I it is better to buy more memory or if the computer needs to be replaced, it still works very well for email and working on small documents, but it is really slow and crashes when working with images and large files. Any advice is welcome.
I have a similar computer. It will accept 6 GB of memory. It is far from slow and Etrecheck reports he cited as excellent. I think you have some unnecessary baggage in tow. Why not download and do a report for us Etrecheck. Publish it as an answer, here, and maybe we'll find the reasons...
